Socialinių pedagogų profesinių kompetencijų tobulinimas tęstinių studijų metu / Development of social pedagogues’ professional competencies during continuous studies

Today the ideas of long life learning are not theories anymore. The changing needs of a society force many of people acquire new competencies and professional qualifications. Education is not provided for once and ever but becomes the result of a permanent learning that lasts for the rest of one’s life. The issues of professional development are solved in the context of long life learning and continuous education. Research highlights that a big impact is made on the knowledge and value formation of a social pedagogue by the new university study programmes enabling to continue studies and update one’s knowledge, update qualification and master new technologies. The graduates of the social pedagogue’s non-university study programmes are provided with the possibility to continue their studies at Vilnius Pedagogical University. The results of the research carried out for the first time to identify the needs and possibilities of the development of professional competencies could be used for constant update and improvement of study programs, it creates the prerequisites to train social pedagogues as highly qualified professionals who would meet the needs of labour market and society by being of high professional competencies. Youth delinquency is a relevant theme for discussions not only in Lithuania but also in a whole world for a long time already. On a sociological view, the forms of the behaviour which is declinatory from the norms (deviation), appear more often in a society which is in the economical – social transformation period. Children and youth is the part of the society, the most sensitive to changes. Their „I“ conception isn’t formed yet, and the social immaturity is clearly visible. The atmosphere in a family, and the upbringing methods has a high influence on the developing personality attitude and value system/ orientation. On the social pedagogical aspect, the family socium is the underlying area in the Lithuanian social policy. The social policy is oriented towards the sane consolidation of the family socium relationships and the development of the family potential. In this context, the particular role in the social policy of the country is given to the social pedagogue’s work with the family. Recently, both - the interinstitutional cooperation and the cooperation of the social pedagogue with the falimy is emphasized very often, while dealing with its and the child’s social problems. Socialinių pedagogų ir socialinių darbuotojų išgyvenamo nerimo ypatumai profesinėjė veikloje / The Peculiarities of Anxiety Experienced by Social Pedagogues and Social Workers in Their Professional Activity

Bakalauro darbe analizuojami socialinių pedagogų ir socialinių darbuotojų išgyvenamo nerimo ypatumai profesinėje veikloje. Suformuluota hipotezė, kad tikėtina, jog yra ryšys tarp socialinių pedagogų ir socialinių darbuotojų amžiaus, darbo stažo, pareigybės, klientų grupės, su kuria dirba ir patiriamo nerimo lygmens. Tyrimui atlikti buvo pasirinktos kiekybinė ir kokybinė tyrimo prieigos. Todėl kiekybiniame tyrime dalyvavo 113 socialinių pedagogų ir socialinių darbuotojų, o kokybiniame tyrime dalyvavo 6 specialistės. Anketinės apklausos metodu tirtas socialinių pedagogų ir socialinių darbuotojų išgyvenamo reaktyvaus ir asmeninio nerimo lygis, ypatumai. Siekta patikrinti ar yra statistiškai reikšmingi ryšiai tarp respondentų demografinių kintamųjų bei reaktyvaus ir asmeninio nerimo. Atlikta statistinė (aprašomoji: dažniai, vidurkiai, procentai, standartiniai nuokrypiai bei daugiamatė: neparametrinis Kruskal-Wallis T testas ir parametriniai ANOVA testai) duomenų analizė. Pusiau struktūruoto interviu metodu atliktas gilinamasis specialistų nerimo ypatumų profesinėje veikloje tyrimas. Siekta atskleisti situacijas, sukeliančias didžiausią nerimą, naudojamas nerimo įveikos strategijas bei siūlomas nerimo įveikos galimybes. Duomenims apdoroti atlikta kokybinė turinio (content) analizė. Tyrimu nustatyta, kad dauguma socialinių pedagogų ir socialinių darbuotojų išgyvena žemą reaktyvaus ir vudutinį asmeninio nerimo lygį. [toliau žr. visą tekstą] / The present Bachelor Thesis analyzes the peculiarities of anxiety experienced by social pedagogues and social workers in their professional activities. We have formulated a hypothesis that possibly there is a link between social pedagogues and social workers age, seniority, position, clients‘ groups with whom they work and anxiety levels they face. Quantitative and qualitative search methods have been chosen to accomplish the research. 113 social pedagogues and social workers were involved in the quantitative research and in the qualitative – 6 specialists. The level of reactive and personal anxiety of social pedagogues and social workers has been analysed within application of questionnaire method. The objective was to examine whether there is a statistically significant relationship between respondents' demographic variables, and reactive and personal anxiety. The statistical (descriptive: frequencies, averages, percentages, standard deviations and multidimensional: nonparametric Kruskal-Wallis T test and parametric ANOVA tests ) data analysis has been done. Semi-structured interviews conducted deepening research in features of specialist anxiety in their professional activities. Socialinių pedagogų veiklos su delinkventinio elgesio vaikais turinio analizė bendruomenės narių nuomonės aspektu / Analysis of the content of social pedagogue’s work with delinquent children from community members’ perspective

Darbe atlikta teorinė vaikų ir paauglių delinkventinio elgesio ir socialinių pedagogų veiklos turinio analizė. Iškelta hipotezė, kad bendruomenės nariai turi mažai informacijos apie vaikų delinkventinį elgesį ir socialinių pedagogų veiklos turinio metodus, struktūrą dirbant su delinkventinio elgesio vaikais. Anketinės apklausos būdu atliktas tyrimas, kurio tikslas - ištirti bendruomenės požiūrį į socialinių pedagogų veiklos turinį su delinkventinio elgesio vaikais bendruomenės narių nuomonės aspektu. Nagrinėjant ir analizuojant vaikų ir paauglių delinkventinio elgesio ir socialinių pedagogų veiklos turinį naudota mokslinės literatūros sisteminė, lyginamoji, loginė analizė ir sintezė. Tyrimo duomenys surinkti anketinės apklausos ir interviu metodais. Atliekant tyrimų duomenų analizę, taikyta respondentų nuomonės sisteminė, lyginamoji, loginė analizė ir sintezė, lentelių sudarymo ir grafinio vaizdavimo bei statistiniai metodai. Kiekybiniame tyrime dalyvavo 217 respondentų, mokyklose besimokančių vaikų tėvai ir 4 socialiniai pedagogai, dirbantys mokyklose, buvo apklausti interviu metodu. Svarbiausios empirinių tyrimų išvados: 1. Tyrimo metu vykdytoje apklausoje, nustatyta, kad besimokančių mokinių tėvai žino tik pagrindinius veiksnius lemiančius delinkventinio elgesio paplitimą. Neturi pakankamai informacijos apie šio elgesio reiškimosi motyvus, formas, aplinkybes ir kartais delinkventinis elgesys painiojamas su kriminaliniu, nusikalstamu elgesiu. 2. The hypothesis proposed in this thesis is that the members of society have little information about delinquent behaviour of children and content methods of the activity of social pedagogues as well as the structure of their work with delinquent children. A questionnaire has been used, the purpose of which is to analyse community approach to the content of the activity of social pedagogues who work with delinquent children from the perspective of the community members. Analysis of delinquent behaviour of children and teenagers and the content of the activity of social pedagogues includes systemic, comparative and logical analysis and synthesis of scientific literature. The data of research is collected via questionnaires and interviews. When analysing the data, the opinion of respondents is analysed using systemic, comparative and logic analysis and synthesis, conclusion of tables and graphic representation as well as statistical methods. There were 217 participants in the quantitative research, parents of children attending school and 4 social pedagogues, who work in school and were questioned on the interview.
