In die beskrywing is gefokus op drie beginsels elk van die Newtoniaanse - en die ekosistemiese benaderings. Die gekose beginsels is met 'n gevallestudie geillustreer. 1153	The factors that influence social workers in establishing community-based care and support services for older persons Mtiya-Thimla, Gcotyiswa 07 1900 (has links) In South Africa prior to 1994, community-based care and support services were established for whites only. The majority of older African (black) persons received informal support from their adult children and relatives. This has waned over the years due to the social and economic changes that have put into doubt the continued viability of such support. The Older Persons Act of 2006 requires social workers to establish community-based care and support services for older persons. Hence, the study was conducted to understand the factors that influence social workers in establishing CBCSS for older persons in Bloemfontein in the Free State Province. A qualitative research method was undertaken to accomplish the goal of the study. Purposive and snowball sampling techniques were used to identify suitable participants. Face-to-face semi-structured interviews were conducted with fifteen social workers who provide services to older persons. The data was analysed through Tesch’s (cited by Creswell, 2009:186) eight steps of qualitative analysis and data verification was conducted following Guba’s (Kreftling, 1991) model. The major finding is that there is a need for social workers to specialise in older persons programmes (gerontology). 1154	Analýza a reflexe etického kodexu sociálních pracovníků / Analysis and reflection of the Code of Ethics of Social Workers PODZIMKOVÁ, Petra January 2013 (has links) This work deals with professional ethical reflection and analysis of the code of ethics of social workers to join in the broader context of the social work profession and human rights principles. The introduction deals with disabilities, the basic concepts of ethics and social work with regard to the specifics of the social work profession and the requirements of professional social worker. Based on professional ethical reflection theoretical work also analyzes the document Code of Ethics of Social Workers of the Czech Republic in comparison with the International Social Work Code of Ethics and the Code of Charity Czech Republic with an emphasis on the interpretation of the principles of human rights and social justice. At the end of the work in relation to analysis tries to summarize the importance of criticism and also updated the Code of Conduct, including an indication of other possible paths to explore this issue.

The goal of the work will be to chart how do social workers work in these different centers with victims of domestic violence and to give us a complete picture and summary of this problematics and management of social workers in it. Given the topic of this work, I will first focus on domestic violence. I will focus on basic characteristics, types, forms, causes and also on the high risk groups of people. Further of it will offer a look into the legislative framework in this area. Using surveys, which were given to individual social workers in these chosen centers, I will try to describe management of social workers in problematics of domestic violence.

Yet some foster children are neglected, physically or emotionally abused and are used to obtain Foster Care Grants. The essence of this study is to develop a thorough and comprehensive understanding from the frame of reference of social workers on the factors that contribute to the neglect and abuse of foster children as well as their suggestions about possible interventions. The qualitative research approach was applied. The researcher utilised purposive sampling to select social workers. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to gather information and data was analysed. 1160	Funkčnost příspěvku na péči / Functionality of care allowance Hemelík, Rudolf January 2020 (has links) My work offers a view of the care allowance as one of the sources of funding for social services, which over time has become a support for people with disabilities, which greatly helps sustain the limited number of social services - residential or field. Allowance realy gives recipients purchasing power pay part of the service / private assistance at their decision. I perceive the care allowance as an important state support for people dependent on the help of another person and I consider it a tool that should help to live a free life for people with disability. The allowance became very non-individualized (inflexible) - it is unable to respond to changes or adapt to the needs of its beneficiaries. Act on Social Services is strict in the individual approach, setting, way of working with people in the framework of social services, but in the care allowance practice does not apply this. The granting and payment of contributions is not individualized, each of them must be assigned / be classifiable in four levels. Ruthless whether it needs it and it uses the level of support it need. The care allowance system does not have one problem, but several that they do a lot. This is nothing without which the system should not function, it's something that could be better.
