The subject of this diploma thesis is to analyse economic situation of the spas in The Czech Republic during the period of 2005 to 2014. The aim of this thesis is based on time series analysis to evaluate the economic situation of the spas in the Czech Republic and analyse the impact of changes in the indication list caused by Decree No. 267/2012 Coll. and Act No. 1/2015 Coll. In diploma thesis were used the methods of vertical and horizontal analysis to illustrate the development trends. The degree of influence of selected descriptors was measured by the correlation coefficient and the results are summarized in correlation matrix. The results of this analysis show significant changes in the structure of spas patients according to payments, what brought a series of negative impacts for the Czech spas. The negative effects of legislative changes in the spas industry in this period clearly exceeded positives.

Medical spa in the Czech Republic has a long tradition. Spa treatment of children and adolescents has its position in the therapeutic process and shows very good results for the chronically ill children. Several changes of the conditions for thermal treatment of children and adolescents have occurred in the Czech legislation. They might affect its future development. The aim of thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the Czech spa for children and adolescents, analyze its development in recent years, describe its main characteristics and to detect problems in Czech spa for children and adolescents. Spas for children and adolescents have been examined from the perspective of the balneologic institute, health Insurance, association of spas and from the perspective of parents of children. Balneologic institutes for children and adolescents will probably deal with problems in the next years and their further development will not be easy. Uneven capacity utilization, tightening of the rules for complex spa care, reducing length of stay, less repeated stays for some clients and the recent increase in regulatory fees will complicate the future of Czech spas for children and adolescents.

The subject of this diploma thesis is Analysis of the current state of spas in Carlsbad. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the status of Carlsbad and its specifics on the market of spa services in Czech Republic. The analysis is focused on entities that currently operate in the field of spa services in Carlsbad. The outcome of this work is to assess the current state of spas in Karlovy Vary, analysis of the different types of entities that deal with spa services and evaluation of their common and diferent features. This thesis also deals with evaluation of the impact of changes in the Indication list on the spa services in Karlovy Vary.

The subject of this diploma thesis is "Analysis of the competitive enviroment of the spa services in Luhačovice". The main aim of the thesis is comparison of spa services of different spa facilities operating in Luhačovice and choose the best provider of the services. The PEST analysis was used for reaching the main aim which included political, economic, social and technological indicators that influenced most of businesses in spa tourism. The another step was to analyse internal competitive environment of Luhačovice. It means that chosen spa subjects are analysed and then the strongest and best current provider of spa services is determined. The final part of the thesis is focused on recommendations for maintaining position and increase the competitiveness of the best provider.

Předkládaná práce se zabývá návrhem projektorové soustavy transmisního elektronového mikroskopu (TEM) pro metodu single particle analysis (SPA). Návrh projektorové soustavy byl vytvořen v programu Electron Optical Design (EOD) verze 4.020. Série buzení jednotlivých čoček pro zvětšení projektorové soustavy v rozsahu od 50 do 10000 byla vypočítaná pomocí přístupu využívajícího aproximaci tenké čočky, dále pomocí přístupu využívajícího aproximaci tlusté čočky, metodou linearního zaostření v programu EOD a metodou nelineárního zaostření v programu EOD ve verzi 5.003. Dosažené výsledky byly porovnány a ověřeny pomocí reálného trasování částic v programu EOD.

The thesis describes the design and implementation of an information system for a small business company. The thesis includes strategic analyzes of the company and an assessment of the current situation associated with the Covid­-19 pandemic. Subsequently, the thesis describes the process of specification and analysis of the requirements of the client, the design and implementation of the system corresponding to the proposals. Finally, the thesis provides the evaluation and expected benefits of the information system.

The focus of this thesis is the confirmation of the presence of the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus on a selected dairy bovine farm and the following typing of its isolates while using common genotyping and phenotyping methods. After the isolation of this bacteria from the samples, they were tested for the presence of mecA gene and the genes responsible for the production of enterotoxins. It was tested whether the isolates belong to the 398 sequence type and their type of spa gene sequence was determined. Then the resistance against antimicrobial agents was tested. Results of the typing were compared to those of other related articles. Finally, this thesis observes the efficiency of the sanitizing agent used at this farm and suggests further methods to reduce the occurrence of MRSA in this herd.

Mitt förslag till det nya badhuset i Västertorp inkluderar och programmerar parken, och gör den till en plats som är tillgänglig och välkomnande, och som på samma gång skyddar mot ljud och buller från motorvägen. Ett bullerskydd i form av en jordvägg reser sig bredvid det befintliga cykelstråket som går parallellt med E4:an. Norr om denna breder sig ett taklandskap med växtlighet ut, med möjlighet för fotgängare att korsa platsen hur man vill, i alla riktningar. En basketplan och ett utomhusgym förväntas ge mer liv till parken, tillsammans med gröna ytor för picknick och fika med skydd från bullret. I landskapet höjer sig anonyma volymer med fasader av träpanel. Volymerna skapar rum i taklandskapet som besökare rör sig emellan. De kan användas till att luta sig emot, användas som bollplank, ryggstöd men de väcker också nyfikenhet och frågor kring vad som finns därinne. Den glasade fasaden på en av byggnaderna välkomnar besökaren till ett café, och det är också entrén från taket till badhuset.   Badhuset är delvis nedgrävt och ansluter till den gångbana som ligger bakom byggnaden, då byggnaden följer de befintliga höjdkurvorna kommer gångbanan längst norr att hamna i samma nivå som byggnaden.  Detta skapar en koppling mellan skogen, taklandskapet och till sist den befintliga parken. Detta stråk går tvärs över byggnaden.   Under marken i den södra delen av byggnaden finns två idrottshallar, med mindre omklädningsrum, gym och en sal för gruppträning. Badhuset har en 25-metersbassäng för tävlings-, och träningssimning. Det finns även en undervisningsbassäng, en motionssimningsbassäng samt en spaavdelning med pooler inspirerade av turkiska bad, hammam, som erhåller olika temperaturer. Samt karbad som skapar en privat del om så önskas.   Det befintliga utomhusbadet kopplas samman med det nya badhuset genom en trätrall som går ut från byggnaden och ut till bassängen. Byggnaden inhyser även omklädningsrum i bottenplan särskilt tilltänkta för utomhusbadets gäster.   Tre av de volymer som höjer sig ur taklandskapet har formen av de tre största bassängerna. Förhoppningen är att om man som besökare på badhuset har badat i bassängerna, ska känna till de volymer som har dess form. Detta ger en igenkänning av var man befinner sig i badhuset fast man står i taklandskapet. De rum som bassängerna är placerade i har dubbel takhöjd precis ovanför bassängen. I taket är takfönster placerade för att leda in dagsljus, och skapa en skillnad i vart det är en bassäng och inte. Det finns en öppning till i taket, och det är en oas som inleder spaavdelningen. Även takfönster i en del av idrottshallarna leder ner dagsljus i dessa. / My suggestion to the new bathhouse in Västertorp, Stockholm, is to partly bury it in the park to give the park the possibility to continue to be a place where pedestrians and bikers can continue to pass by the park without being stopped and irritated by a building. Even though it is partly buried, it connects with a path, which is important today in this area, to combine the beginning of the park with the connecting Telefonplan. The volumes, which rise from the park, create spaces to hang out in, and makes people want to know what is in there. The building embodies two big halls for sports, together with changing rooms and a smaller hall for a gym. The bathhouse features a 25-meter swimming pool for training and competitions, a pool for education, and one for slower exercise swimming. There are also a section for spa and sauna. The existing outdoor pool is connected with a wooden deck from the new building, and it contains the new changing rooms for the outdoor pool.   The three pools inside the new building under the park have double ceiling height above the pools. For a visitor the wish is to get them to recognize the volumes from outside to reflect on where they are located on the roof. These volumes also have glass in the roof, which leads the daylight in the spaces where the pools are located.

Avancerad program- och funktionsstudie i form av multi-use-byggnad uppbyggd kring ett badhus i urban miljö i stadsdelen Fenway i Boston. Byggnadens huvudteman är "den klättrande parken" och "bakom muren". Det förstnämna genom att det befintliga parkrummet invid byggnaden tematiskt ges en förlängning in i byggnaden och trappar sig uppåt i badets olika nivåer för att mynna i en södervänd takträdgård och soldäck högst upp. Temat kring muren uttrycks genom en massiv långsträckt byggnad mot gatan som skärmar av det södervända badet från den trafikerade gatan. Mot parkens lummiga träd vänder sig ett tredje objekt i form en glasad byggnad i fyra plan med café/restaurang och bibliotek med läsrum och studieplatser.
