Aplikace externího benchmarkingu ve společnosti působící v oblasti terciárního vzdělávání

The object of the diploma thesis is the comparison of selected educational institute with the competitors operating in the tertiary education field, using the external benchmarking method. The theoretical part presents the basic terms related to the issue, especially strategic management, benchmarking, SWOT analysis, Porter five competitive forces analysis, but also the tertiary education sector. In the practical part there is performed a comparative analysis of six companies operating in the education sector. It concerns the following subjects: Brno Business School, Brno International Business School, Institute for Industrial and Financial Management, Prague International Business School, VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava, University of Finance and Administration. The survey results are statistically evaluated through the tables and graphs with an accompanying written commentary. The objective of the diploma thesis is the comparison of six companies using external benchmarking method and thus to define the weaknesses of the company which is the subject of the thesis, based on five analyses. Subsequently, to propose recommendations to minimize these weaknesses in order to gain a stronger position in the tertiary education market and higher competitiveness.

The subject of the the diploma thesis is the evaluation the current state of lifelong learning in the govermental and non-govermental non-profit sectors. The aim of the thesis to suggest possibilities for lifelong learning in govermental and non-govermental non-profit sectors. The thesis focuses on reasons which lead workers to increase the level of their achieved education and to participate in educational workshops. It deals with the state of employer or company support. Its theoretical part is based on studying of documents. For conducting the practical part there were chosen particular authorities and organizations where a quantitative survey using a standardized questionnaire and qualitative research using semi-structured interviews were done. The collected data were analyzed and the conclusion stated. Diploma thesis shows the way for the improvement of work with employees who lack the necessary education.

The first part describes the concepts that belong to the knowledge chain and consequently is characterized by knowledge-based economy. Another section is devoted to human resources and human capital. In the last chapter of the theoretical part is defined topic of education, which is characterized by an international classification system for lifelong education further and adult education. At the end of defined levels of the education process in the Czech Republic. The analytical part of the thesis deals with the international comparison of educational attainment Czech Republic, according to Eurostat, and within the evaluated countries of the OECD. The second part is focused on the research in order to obtain an opinion and the population's access to further education and improving their qualification.

Long-term residence permit for the purpose of study in the Czech Republic Abstract Long-term residence permit for the purpose of study is permitted by the Ministry of the Interior to the third-country nationals who intend to stay in the Czech Republic for more than 1 year. The fundamental legal regulation governing long-term residence isact No. 326/1999 Coll., On the Residence of Foreign nationals in the Czech Republic and on amendment of certain acts, that is transposing Directives of the European Union on which is this residence based. The case law of the Czech administrative courts, the Constitutional Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union cannot be omitted since it is important source. Firstly, is the master's thesis devoted to the concept of foreigners, in order to clearly specify for which category of foreigners is the long-term stay intended to and what area of law deals with it. Universitäten treten im Zuge der demografischen Wende in einen Wettstreit um Studierende. Fasst man die Universität in diesem Sinne als Unternehmen, Studiengänge als Dienstleistungen und die Studierenden als Kundinnen und Kunden dieser Dienstleistungen auf, rückt die Sicherung und Weiterentwicklung der Qualität des gesamten Studienumfelds in den Mittelpunkt der Betrachtungen. Qualität wird hier in erster Linie als customer satisfaction verstanden, also als Zufriedenheit der Studierenden1. Darüber hinaus tragen die Rückmeldungen von Studierenden zur Weiterentwicklung der Lehrerbildung im Allgemeinen bei. Die Gesamtschau dieser Studierendeneinschätzung hilft zum einen Problembereiche des modularisierten BA-Studiums zu identifizieren und so Verbesserungspotentiale zu erkennen. Zum anderen gibt der Blick auf die positiven Aspekte des Studiums Rückmeldung zu erreichten Verbesserungen, sowie Bereichen in denen Veränderungen beibehalten oder verstärkt werden sollten. Die Einführung des polyvalenten Bachelors mit dem berufsfeldspezifischen Profil für das Lehramt an Grund-, Mittel- und Förderschulen sowie das Höhere Lehramt an Gymnasien ("BA-Lehramt") und den entsprechenden lehramtsspezifischen Masterstudiengängen ("MA-Lehramt") war auch mit dem Ziel verbunden, die Abbruch- bzw. Schwundquoten der Studierenden zu reduzieren. Um dieses Ziel erreichen zu können, muss man aus unserer Sicht neben den "reinen Zahlen" vor allem die Gründe kennen, die dazu führen, das Lehramtsstudium abzubrechen. Ein Entgegenwirken ist in erster Linie bei jenen Gründen möglich und wünschenswert, die im Studium bzw. in den Studienbedingungen verankert sind.
