Vliv molekulové hmotnosti a stupně větvení alifatických oligoesterů na jejich hydrolytickou degradaci / Influence of molecular mass and branching degree of aliphatic oligoesters on their hydrolytic degradationMüllnerová, Veronika January 2015 (has links)
Charles Univerzity in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Technology Candidate: Veronika Müllnerová Consultant: Doc. RNDr. Milan Dittrich, CSc. Title of thesis: Impact of molecular weight and the grade of branching of aliphatic oligoesters on their hydrolytic degradation Theoretical part of the thesis deals with behavior, properties and applications of biodegradable polyesters, mainly copolymers of lactic and glycolic acid (PLGA). This part concerns degradation, erosion and release mechanism. Furthermore, it describes properties that influence the drug release kinetics from systems based on PLGA. The final section of theoretical part is focused on the in situ forming implants, whose carrier of active substance is biodegradable polyester. The experimental part analyzes the influence of different pH of the medium within physiologically common boundaries and also the influence of ionic force on the degree of swelling and polymer erosion. These degradation parameters have been studied on three potential polyester carriers of active substances - PLGA, M3 (terpolymer of lactic and glycolic acid with mannit) and T3 (terpolymer of lactic and glycolic acid with tripentaerythritol). Polymer bodies were kept in temperature of 37řC inside phosphate-citrate buffers with...

Jak úspěšně studovat ve středověku? Analýza pozdně středověkého středověkého traktátu "De modulo studendi"(rkp. Olomouc, VK, M I 357) a edice jeho vybraných částí / How to study successfully in the middle ages? An analysis of the late medieval treatise "De modulo studendi" (ms.Olomouc, RL, M I 357) and an edition of its selected partsOdstrčilík, Jan January 2012 (has links)
The thesis analyses a previously untreated and unexplored treatise entitled De modulo studendi. It is located in ms. M I 357, kept in the Research Library in Olomouc, formerly from the Carthusian monastery in Olomouc. In the first part the problem of dating the treatise and the manuscript is discussed by analyzing the physical characteristics of the manuscript and its content. It seems likely that the manuscript was written sometime in 1450-1460's. The treatise itself seems to be written after 1456. In this section is also shown, how the medical part of the treaties depends directly on a set of medical prescriptions, called Recepta ac consila medica, which precede the treatise in the manuscript. In the second part the content of each chapter of De modulo studendi is summarized and commented. The treatise provides special advices on schoolbooks at the university level as well as the general advices for successful study. An edition of the selected parts of the treatise is also included in this work.

Previous issue date: 2014-08-08 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The cardinal purpose of this work is to present the Barthesian concept of myth as per its
definition in Mythologies. It is also an attempt to follow how it unfolds in the work of
Roland Barthes through a small set of selected texts: Writing Degree Zero, Mythologies,
Elements of Semiology, L obvie et l obtus, Roland Barthes by Roland Barthes, and
Camera Lucida. This research implies in handling the concept of connotation, through
which Barthes defines the myth as an ultra-signification message. We here play with the
hypothesis of the concept of studium, belatedly introduced in Camera Lucida, as a
reformulation of the myth in the photography field, since Barthes himself sees in it the
same characteristic effect of the connotative phenomenon. In such a manner, the corpus
of this research is given by the author s mentioned texts; for its convenient aspect, it is
also added of the repertoire of images offered by the researcher Jacqueline Guittard and
her Mythologies illustrées, which recaptures and expands the edition known so far; the
images of Camera Lucida are also added to it. The relevance of this research is tied to the
possibility offered by Barthes oeuvre to criticize the mass communications in a historic
and semiotic perspective, always paying attention to the work of the signifier / O trabalho tem por objetivo primordial apresentar o conceito barthesiano de mito ,

Large Format Photography in the Digital Era / Large Format Photography in the Digital EraYang, Tian January 2018 (has links)
Large format photography refers to the photographic practice that utilizes a large light
sensitive surface to capture photographs. As of 2018, large format photography is still
a subset of analog photography. The digital revolution brings us into the digital era.
Manufacturers and businesses in the photography industry is forced to adapt the
transition from analog to digital in order to survive and succeed in the new market.
Meanwhile, photography theorists find themselves facing a new set of issues
because the photographs have become immediate and immaterial. While camera
manufacturers have in effect accelerated the analog-to-digital transition with their
proactive business strategies and relentless marketing campaigns, higher education
has become the last bastion for the analog where large format camera classes teach
students the tradition of photography and how to see the world contemplatively.

A. 07 August 2008 (has links) (PDF)
