[pt] A presente tese tem como finalidade realizar um estudo teológico-pastoral da Igreja Batista Memorial de Alphaville no contexto da missão na cidade. A pesquisa descreve elementos caracteristicos do objeto de pesquisa e traz uma descrição da eclesiologia neotestamentária que serve de criteriologia para que se analise o objeto pesquisado. O atual trabalho é composto por cinco capítulos. O primeiro deles contém aspectos introdutórios. O segundo é de natureza narrativa, onde descrevemos o objeto de estudo, apresentando as suas características essenciais e experiências históricas. O terceiro traz uma exposição da eclesiologia da Igreja do Novo Testamento e tem por objetivo examinar a eclesiologia fundante. O quarto capítulo é uma análise crítica de alguns elementos notórios da Igreja Batista Memorial de Alphaville realizada a partir da experiência eclesial fundante vivida pelas igrejas locais do Novo Testamento. No quinto e último capítulo é apresentada uma conclusão baseada nas informações e reflexões dos capítulos anteriores. / [en] The present thesis aims to carry out a theological-pastoral study of the Memo-rial Baptist Church of Alphaville in the context of mission in the city. The research describes characteristic elements of the research object and provides a description of the New Testament ecclesiology that serves as a criteriology to analyze the object researched. The present work consists of five chapters. The first of them contains introductory aspects. The second is narrative in nature, where we describe the object of study, presenting its essential characteristics and historical experiences. The third brings an exposure of the ecclesiology of the New Testament Church and aims to examine founding ecclesiology. The fourth chapter is a critical analysis of some char-acteristic elements of the Alphaville Memorial Baptist Church carried out from the founding ecclesial experience lived by the local New Testament churches. In the fifth and final chapter a conclusion is presented based on the information and reflections of the previous chapters.

PUC Campinas / This study aims to analyze the influences that a religious model has on a religious community, stablishing a correlation between Max Scheler?s conception of religious model, ethical progress and religious experience with the bible text Sermon on Mount, specially, the Antitheses (Mt 5, 17-48) and the Lord?s Prayer ritual orientation. With this purpose, in this study is made a research to identify the religious model from Matthew?s community to understand the powerful influence to the construction of the meanings in the social world of this community. This study was possible approaching Max Scheler?s phenomenological works to contextualize the religious model, religious experience and ethical progress concepts. As well as, it was necessary to go deep in historical, social and exegetical aspects from Matthew?s bible text. It is due to the interest that Vatican Council II keeps causing, after so many years. The social-religious situation has changed. Therefore, a lucid and profound reanalysis is needed. In order to do so, using the theological method, we did a historical analysis of its antecedents, pointing the specific occasion in which this important document was published. Then, pointing out the document s guide-lines related to the recent Church Teaching announcements: Document of Aparecida (2007) and the Benedict XVI s Encyclic, Caritas in Veritate (2009). We have placed all these documents in its historical context, allowing the dialogue with Gaudium et Spes. The conclusion is that, after almost fifty years, Gaudium et Spes still fits nowadays reality and can be used as base to theological-pastoral reflection / Este trabalho acadêmico, em nível de mestrado, tem como objetivo principal verificar a atualidade da Constituição Pastoral Gaudium et Spes. Isto se justifica pelo interesse que o Concílio Vaticano II continua exercendo, após tantos anos. Mas a situação sócio-eclesial mudou. Por isso, uma releitura lúcida e aprofundada se faz necessária. Utilizando o método teológico, fazemos uma análise histórica dos antecedentes, indicando a ocasião em que foi promulgado este importante documento. Em seguida, pontuamos as linhas-mestras do documento em questão com recentes manifestações do Magistério da Igreja: o Documento de Aparecida (2007) e a Encíclica de Bento XVI, Caritas in Veritate (2009). Situamos todos estes documentos em seu contexto histórico, possibilitando o contra-ponto com a Gaudium et Spes. The subject is shown relevant in so far as the document has recently completed its fifty years and is still little studied even by the Catholic hierarchy. At the same time, it is important to try to understand not only the acceptance of secularization but also how the tumultuous relationship between Church and modernity has taken place. We proceed from the hypothesis that every condemnation made by the ecclesiastical magisterium against the modern world loses its relevance with Gaudium et spes, since it brings within it the acceptance of modernity as being positive even for the Catholic Church. The research consists of a bibliographical analysis based not only on the prominent authors who have already worked on the theme, but also on primary sources such as diaries of Conciliar Fathers and the Constitution itself, which makes a greater contribution to the studies on the Council and the Pastoral Constitution. With the development of the research, we believe that Gaudium et spes followed in the opposite direction to the teaching that preceded it and, therefore, was responsible for the establishment of a new, essentially secular, Catholic imaginary / A presente tese tem como objeto a Constituição Pastoral Gaudium et spes e busca compreender como a mesma contribuiu para a secularização interna do catolicismo, alterando o modo como a Igreja Católica se relaciona com o mundo moderno. O tema se mostra bastante relevante na medida em que o documento completou recentemente seus cinquenta anos e ainda é pouco estudado até mesmo pela hierarquia católica. Ao mesmo tempo, mostra-se importante por tentar compreender não apenas a aceitação da secularização, mas também como se deu a tumultuada relação entre Igreja-modernidade. Partimos da hipótese de que toda condenação feita pelo magistério eclesiástico contra o mundo moderno perde sua relevância com a Gaudium et spes uma vez que essa trás em seu interior a aceitação da modernidade como sendo positiva até mesmo para a Igreja Católica. A pesquisa consiste em uma análise bibliográfica fundamentada não apenas nos autores de destaque que já trabalharam com o tema, mas também com fontes primárias, como diários de Padres Conciliares e a própria Constituição o que confere uma contribuição maior para os estudos sobre o Concílio e a Constituição Pastoral. Com o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, acreditamos comprovar que a Gaudium et spes seguiu na direção contrária ao magistério que a antecedeu e, com isso, foi responsável pelo estabelecimento de um novo imaginário católico, fundamentalmente secular

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O cuidado pastoral, em meio ao contexto, hospitalar recebe o nome de capelania hospitalar. Os três primeiros capítulos do trabalho apresentam uma reflexão em torno de temáticas apresentadas como fundamentos bíblico-teológicos da capelania hospitalar. O primeiro elucida o conceito cuidar, o significado dessa atitude e sua importância para com a própria vida humana e busca relacionar a atitude do cuidar com o tema da dignidade humana fundamentada a partir da teologia da imago Dei, conforme Gênesis 1.26-27. A segunda parte do trabalho apresenta o ser humano à luz da antropologia bíblica, a partir dos conceitos alma, coração, carne e corpo. Estas noções antropológicas apresentam o ser humano em termos existenciais basicamente e como uma unidade viva animada por Deus. A terceira parte apresenta as características da ação pastoral a partir do conceito poimênica. Esta expressão remete à metáfora do pastorear o rebanho de Deus e fundamenta-se na imagem bíblica do Deus-Pastor e do Cristo como sendo o Bom Pastor. Assim, o capítulo visa a elucidar e conceituar, sobretudo, a partir da passagem bíblica de João 10, o ministério pastoral de Cristo, bem como apresentar o ministério da poimênica como uma expressão da comunidade cristã ao longo da história da Igreja. O quarto capítulo faz uma breve incursão histórica em torno do hospital, busca fundamentar uma assistência hospitalar humanizada a partir do tema da dignidade humana e aponta para a necessidade de cuidados integrais para com a pessoa internada. Encerra-se o trabalho abordando o surgimento do treinamento em clínica pastoral, seu contato com a psicologia e apresentando os conteúdos descritos nos capítulos anteriores como fundamentos bíblico-teológicos da capelania hospitalar: a dignidade humana, a antropologia bíblica e o ministério pastoral de Cristo. / Pastoral care in the context of hospital visiting is entitled hospital chaplaincy. The initial three chapters of this paper analyze themes which are the biblical theological foundations of hospital chaplaincy. The first deals with the concept of taking care, the meaning of this action and its importance towards human life grounded on the theology of imago Dei, according to Genesis1.26-27. The second part of the paper presents the human being based on the biblical anthropology and the concepts of soul, heart, flesh and body. These anthropological notions present the human being solely in terms of existence and as a live unit animated by God. The third part describes the features of pastoral action related to the concept of pastoral care. The term refers to the metaphor of pastoralising the herd of God and is founded by the biblical image of God-shepherd and Christ as the good shepherd. Therefore, the chapter sheds light to conceptualizing, mainly from John 10, the pastoral ministry of Christ, as well as it introduces the pastoral care ministry as a means of expression of the Christian community along the history of the Church. The fourth chapter is briefly developed under a historical perspective of the hospital, it aims at grounding the hospital assistance as a human act from the theme of human dignity. Moreover, it leads to the necessity of integral care to the patient. The paper finishes by approaching the beginnings of Clinical Pastoral Training and its borders to psychology, it also ends by presenting the contents which were described in the previous chapters as biblical theological foundations of hospital chaplaincy: the human dignity, the biblical anthropology and the pastoral ministry of Christ.

Esse trabalho consiste numa abordagem analítica do tema subjacente ao texto de Romanos 1.26-27, em consonância com as perspectivas dos principais pressupostos hermenêuticos elaborados na contemporaneidade. No desenvolvimento dessa análise, há um encontro inevitável com os elementos filosóficos da linguagem, os quais sugerem novos rumos para as teorias de interpretação, sobretudo no tocante a temas complexos que emergem das sociedades ocidentais. Em contato com vias de mãos duplas, interpõe-se a visão interpretativa de Kevin Vanhoozer, que realça o aspecto canônico-linguístico das Escrituras, por um lado; mas ressalta, por outro lado, a relevância da dialogicidade das vozes que reverberam na interpretação dos textos bíblicos. Busca-se entender como a filosofia contribuiu para o avanço de questões da vida social e religiosa; bem como saber lidar com as situações novas. Diante de um cenário cultural cada vez mais plural, a homossexualidade é uma questão que suscita leituras desafiadoras do texto de Rm 1.26-27 e, nesse quesito, estuda-se a correlação entre os Testamentos da Bíblia; a realidade do contexto do autor de Romanos com as situações que se apresentam na atualidade. Contact tracks of hands, takes the view of interpretative Kevin Vanhoozer, which emphasizes the aspect, canon-language of Scripture, on the one hand; but points out, on the other hand, the relevance of the dialogical voices that reverberate in the interpretation of biblical texts. We seek to understand how the philosophy has contributed to the advancement of life issues - social and religious; as well as to know how to deal with new situations. [pt] A experiência mistagógica presente nas fontes da tradição eclesiástica, principalmente nos séculos III e IV, é momento forte e determinante no processo de Iniciação Cristã. Dentre os Padres da Igreja que representam a instituição do catecumenato, Cirilo de Jerusalém assinala o eixo mistagógico em suas Catequeses Mistagógicas. Através de suas homilias, Cirilo de Jerusalém orienta o processo de Iniciação Cristã como um caminho catecumenal, no qual a teologia subjacente suscita a abertura à dinâmica da Revelação na experiência pessoal e comunitária, à Palavra revelada nas Escrituras, à Tradição, ao Magistério da Igreja e às interpelações que a sociedade apresenta. Em tempos de novas configurações da subjetividade humana e de mudanças paradigmáticas na sociedade, a Iniciação Cristã de Adultos vem sofrendo um processo de revisão e de avaliação entre as comunidades locais, à luz das orientações do Magistério da Igreja e das interpelações de natureza pastoral. Nessa trajetória, nos aproximamos da experiência de Catecumenato com Adultos em uma comunidade particular, onde estabelecemos um diálogo teológico-pastoral-pedagógico na linha da pesquisa participante. A partir deste processo de elaboração entre a teologia sistemática e a experiência pastoral apresentamos algumas contribuições para que a Mistagogia identificada nas orientações de Cirilo de Jerusalém à Igreja de seu tempo, possa tornar-se fundamento e princípio orientador para a Iniciação Cristã com Adultos nas comunidades atuais. Nosso objetivo é motivar a atitude mistagógica na Iniciação Cristã de Adultos hoje, como um carisma fundamental no âmbito da Igreja, sinal não apenas para o Catecumenato com Adultos, mas para a evangelização atual. / [en] The mistagogic experience present in the sources of ecclesiastic tradition, especially in the third and fourth centuries, is a strong and decisive moment in the process of Christian Initiation. Among the Church Fathers representing the institution of catechumenate, Cyril of Jerusalem marks the mistagogic axis in his Mistagogic Catechesis. Through his homilies, Cyril of Jerusalem guides the process of Christian Initiation as a catechumenal way, in which the underlying theology raises the opening of the dynamics of the Revelation in personal and community experience, to Word revealed in the Scriptures, to the Tradition, to the Magisterium of the Church and to the requests that the society presents. In times of new configurations of human subjectivity and paradigmatic changes in society, the Christian Initiation of Adults has been experiencing a process of review and evaluation among local communities, under the guidance of the Magisterium of the Church and questions of pastoral nature. On this path, we approach the experience of Catechumenate with Adults in a local community, where we established a theological-pastoral- pedagogical dialogue on the line of participatory research. From this process of drafting between systematic theology and pastoral experience we present some contributions so that the Mistagogy identified in the guidelines of the Cyril of Jerusalem to the Church of his time can become a basis and guiding principle for the Christian Initiation with Adults in communities today. Our aim, therefore, is to motivate the mistagogic attitude in the Christian Initiation of Adults today, as a key charisma within the Church, reason not only for the Catechumenate with Adults, but also for evangelization today.

[pt] A dissertação analisa o contexto histórico que marca a origem da função de capelão de navio no mundo; também procura refletir como esta tradição tornou-se comum nos navios brasileiros. Ao refletir sobre o nascedouro do capelão naval, a pesquisa analisa o perfil dos primeiros capelães navais e os desafios que envolveram os primórdios da assistência religiosa em uma embarcação. Por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, mapeia a presença do capelão naval na historiografia brasileira e de sua Marinha, abarcando o desenvolvimento histórico desta função nas fases da Colônia, Império e República, e da Marinha durante a Armada Real Portuguesa, na criação da Armada Imperial e Nacional, bem como na fase atual da Marinha do Brasil. Embora grande parte da pesquisa se suceda no campo da História, a motivação por trás da interpretação dos eventos é teológica e pastoral, promovendo uma interpretação protestante sobre a missão de um capelão naval na atualidade. A pesquisa reflete sobre a identidade do capelão naval, sua missão, seus desafios pastorais, os saberes que deve possuir e as atribuições deste ministério, revelando a necessidade de o capelão naval corresponder às exigências da instituição que representa, tendo a maturidade para pastorear um grupo heterogêneo e heterodoxo, dialogando com o ecumenismo e a inter-religiosidade, sem descaracterizar-se de sua confessionalidade. Impulsionado pelo desígnio de cumprir sua tríplice missão – assistência religiosa, assistência espiritual e apoio as atividades de educação moral – o capelão naval também é impelido teologicamente pela motivação cristã de servir as pessoas, testemunhando o evangelho de Cristo. / [en] This dissertation analyzes the historical context that sets the origin of the function of ship chaplains in the world; it also tries to reflect on how this tradition became common in Brazilian ships. Upon reflecting on the nascency of the naval chaplain, the research analyzes the profile of the first naval chaplains and the challenges involving the beginnings of religious assistance aboard a vessel. Through bibliographical research, the thesis maps the presence of the naval chaplain in Brazilian historiography and Navy, encompassing the historical development on the Colony, Empire and Republic phases, and the Navy during the Portuguese Royal Armada, in the creation of the Imperial and National Armada, as well as the current phase of the Brazilian Navy. Although a majority of the research takes place in the field of History, the motivation behind the interpretation of the events is theological and pastoral, enabling a Protestant interpretation about the mission of a naval chaplain nowadays. The research reflects on the identity of the naval chaplain, his mission and pastoral challenges, the knowledges he must have and attributions of the ministry, revealing the need for the naval chaplain to correspond to the demands of the institution he represents, having the maturity to shepherd a heterogeneous and heterodox group, whilst dialoguing with ecumenism and inter-religiosity, not losing the characteristics of his confessionality. Driven by the design of fulfilling his triple constitutional mission – religious assistance, spiritual assistance, and support on moral education activities – the naval chaplain is also theologically impelled by the Christian motivation of serving people, witnessing Christ s Gospel.

[pt] A presente tese a presente tese se intitula Uma Igreja cristocêntrica, diaconal e koinônica: estudo teológico-pastoral sobre o metodismo na cidade do Rio de Janeiro; definindo como objeto material a práxis pastoral da Igreja Metodista, importante vertente eclesial do protestantismo histórico de missão, sediada na capital do Estado. Seu objetivo é superar a desarmonia que existe na práxis vigente, propondo uma nova práxis pastoral, contextualizada e sensível aos desafios sócio-religiosos no contexto carioca. Your objective is to overcome the disharmony on current practice, proposing a new pastoral praxis contextualized and sensitive to the socio-religious context challenges in Rio. The hesis tramples the design of a possible ecclesial experience based on the centrality of the person of Jesus Christ, based on the diakonia and communion.
