For this, a literature review was performed, searching in theory the necessary articulation between theory and practice, and document analysis, by means of which an assessment of six public children-daycare units' pedagogic-political projects was done as main reference. The studies and analysis in this research indicated what is the on-the-job training foreseen and the possibility for non-teaching staff to act intentionally in the education of children inpublic daycare, complementing and reassuring the importance of non-teaching staff action to achieve the educational objectives set out in the Pedagogic-Political Project. However, the need and importance of school management to conduct formation of these professionals are present in order for non-teaching staff to know the specifics of work in daycare, the characteristics of the age group assisted and the importance of each person's work the achieve the main objective of public daycare, namely the childrens' learning, in regard of the inseparability between children-daycare and education and the need and importance that on-the-job training is foressen in the Pedagogic-Political Project / Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal identificar se o Projeto Político Pedagógico de creches apresenta propostas de ações formativas que tenham como finalidade a atuação consciente do pessoal não docente, analisando a intencionalidade dessas propostas quando anunciadas, bem como o papel do gestor escolar diante daquilo que está posto. Para isso, utilizou-se de levantamento bibliográfico, buscando nos teóricos a necessária articulação entre teoria e prática e análise documental por meio da qual se realizou a análise de projetos políticos pedagógicos de seis creches como principal referência e documento de apreciação. Os estudos e análises realizadas na pesquisa indicaram quais as formações em serviço previstas nos projetos políticos pedagógicos e possibilidades do pessoal não docente atuar de forma intencional na ação educativa dos alunos das creches, complementando e afirmando a importância da ação do pessoal não docente para a consecução dos objetivos previstos no Projeto Político Pedagógico. Todavia, a necessidade e importância do gestor escolar em realizar formações com esses profissionais para que conheçam as especificidades do trabalho na creche, as características da faixa etária atendida, a importância do trabalho de cada um para a consecução do objetivo maior da creche, a aprendizagem dos alunos, no que se refere à indissociabilidade entre o cuidar e o educar se fizeram presentes, assim como a necessidade e importância de que essas formações em serviço estejam previstas no momento da elaboração do Projeto Político Pedagógico

This diploma thesis deals with recruitment and selection of the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools. The theoretical part defines personnel management and characterizes its main tasks. Furthermore, it focuses on recruitment and selection of staff. It describes ways of implementations, methods and sources, which are frequently used for recruitment and selection of the teaching staff. It defines selected types of alternative nursery schools, the role of the headmaster and the teacher. The practical part is based on quantitative survey. The results of the survey describe methods and ways of implementations, which are most frequently used by headmasters or human resources officers when recruiting the teaching staff. Furthermore, the results are used for creating a general comprehensive personnel plan for recruitment and selection the teaching staff in alternative nursery schools, which can be used by headmasters of nursery schools (especially the alternative ones) or as a study material in the area of human resources.

A Comparative Case Study On School Effectiveness Characteristics Of Two Private High Schools In Ankara

This study aimed at exploring the school effectiveness characteristics of two high schools, one with high (School A) and one with low (School B) levels of placement ratio in &Ouml / SS for their graduates, to observe their characteristics as perceived by their stakeholders (students, teachers, parents, school administrative staff and managers). In this study, a comparative pre-structured case study method was employed. The study was conducted in two private high schools in the province of Ankara, Turkey. The participants were 10 students, 10 teachers, 10 parents, 2 non-academic staff and 3 administrators from School A, and 10 students, 10 teachers, 7 parents, 3 non-academic staff and 2 administrators from School B. A framework drawn by the researcher as a result of review of relevant literature was used to conceptualize the study and to guide the interview schedules to collect data. According to this framework, six general areas in effective school literature were explored. These areas were academic emphasis, organization and administration, school climate, home-school relations, teaching staff, and physical and financial resources. The data collected through semi-structured interviews were analyzed using content analysis technique. The findings revealed that two case schools had major differences almost in all areas explored. The only major similarity between two schools was in the leadership and leader qualities under organization and administration area. The effective school characteristics of the school with high levels of placement ratio in &Ouml / SS, in all six areas explored were added to the conceptual framework drawn at the beginning of the study.

Factors influencing output in the four (4) year nurse training programme in the Free State province

A quantative descriptive study was used to describe the factors that influence the output in the four (4) year nurse training programme. Data was collected by using a self administered questionnaire to 73 participants sampled by stratified random sampling in the Southern Campus of Free State School of Nursing in the Free State Province. Data was analysed by using SPSS computer version 15. The findings of this study revealed that there were difficult subjects like Fundamental Nursing Science, General Nursing Science, Basic Nursing Science, Psychiatric Nursing Science and Midwifery. These were identified per year level of study. The study revealed that difficulty experienced by students resulted in them failing the indicated subjects. Recommendations were made as to how to address the identified factors especially those regarding subjects that were failed in each level, different teaching strategies that could be used to improve the throughput. / M. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / O presente estudo aborda a Formação Acadêmica e Profissional em Serviço Social tomando como objeto o Corpo Docente das Faculdades Públicas de Serviço Social do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. Tomamos como referência o projeto ético político do Serviço Social, especialmente, o projeto de formação da ABEPSS, parte e expressão do primeiro. Observamos que os docentes são sujeitos imprescindíveis no processo de formação dos graduandos e, ainda que não determinem o posicionamento e a direção social escolhidos pelos futuros profissionais, colaboram ou não para um processo de formação crítica que pode contribuir para que o futuro assistente social tenha o perfil profissional explicitado nas Diretrizes Curriculares da ABEPSS: profissional dotado de formação intelectual e cultural, generalista e crítica, competente em sua área de desempenho, com capacidade de inserção criativa e propositiva, no conjunto das relações sociais e no mercado de trabalho (ABEPSS, 2002). Partimos da hipótese de que a disputa por projetos distintos no interior do Serviço Social vem se dando no meio acadêmico de maneira velada no sentido de que tudo o que diz respeito ao Serviço Social pode se articular ao projeto ético-político, como se o mesmo não resultasse de um processo ligado à teoria crítica e de uma mudança ideopolítica no interior da categoria dos assistentes sociais. Consequentemente, a presença nos espaços da academia de tendências conservadoras e neoconservadoras, vem aprofundando o afastamento do debate/problematização de questões essenciais à profissão como, por exemplo, o cotidiano e o exercício profissional. Concluimos que se por um lado, o perfil docente, no que diz respeito à formação dos professores pesquisados, é um perfil que pode responder às necessidades do projeto de formação acadêmica e profissional da ABEPSS, por outro lado, quando abordamos as linhas e projetos de pesquisa que fundamentam a produção dos referidos docentes, observamos um distanciamento do Serviço Social e do projeto ético-político. / The present study deals with the Professional and Academic Formation in Social Work, taking as subject the Teaching Staff of Public Social Work Universities in the State of Rio de Janeiro. We are based on the Ethical-Political Project of Social Work, specially the ABEPSS formation project, part and expression of that. We notice that professors are indispensable in the formation process of the students and, even though they do not define the social position and direction that are chosen by the future professionals, they cooperate or not for a process of critical formation that can contribute for the future social worker to have the professional profile laid down on the Curricular Guidelines of ABEPSS: a professional with intellectual and cultural formation, critic and generalist, competent in hisher performance area, with the capacity of creative and propositional insertion, on the group of social relations and in the labor market (ABEPSS, 2002). We assume the hypothesis that the dispute for distinct projects in the field of Social Work has been occurring in the Academia so veiled when everything that refers to Social Work can be articulated to the Ethical-Political Project, as if it wasnt a result of a process linked to the critic theory and of a ideological and political change in the middle of the category of social workers. Therefore, the presence, in academic spaces, of conservatism and neoconservatism tendencies, is improving the distance of the debate / problematization of essential issues of the profession as, for example, the professional everyday and exercise. We conclude that, if by one side, the teaching staff profile, referring to the formation of the searched professors, is a profile that can answer to the necessities of the ABEPSS academic and professional formation project, by the other side, when we talk about the lines and projects of research that inspire their production we notice a detachment from Social Work and the Ethical-Political Project.

A presente tese tem por objeto o estudo da proposta de formaÃÃo docente das escolas normais rurais do Cearà em idos de 1930 a 1960. PropÃe responder aos questionamentos acerca da compatibilizaÃÃo entre o ideal preconizado pelos discursos e documentos oficiais e o perfil de professora produzido na prÃtica cotidiana da sala de aula. Os caminhos percorridos a partir da pesquisa, leva a que se entenda a proposta de formaÃÃo docente das escolas normais rurais do CearÃ, analisando a sua inserÃÃo no contexto sociopolÃtico e ideolÃgico do CearÃ/Brasil pÃs-1930 (Era Vargas), alÃm de compreender o significado do projeto escola normal rural na definiÃÃo de um perfil ideal de educadora para o meio rural. Dessa forma, analisam-se as idÃias, experiÃncias, prÃticas, representaÃÃes e o lugar reservado Ãs professoras ruralistas naqueles efervescentes anos das primeiras dÃcadas do sÃculo XX. A escrita ora apresentada à fruto da persistente busca dos vestÃgios deixados e dos relatos expressos pelas personagens que fizeram parte da trama cotidiana de histÃrias que se cruzam, na consecuÃÃo de idÃias e prÃticas vividas no Ãmbito da educaÃÃo escolar daqueles idos. As fontes utilizadas foram de vÃrias naturezas, tais quais: oral, relatÃrios, arquivos escolares e particulares, documentos oficiais, discursos de autoridades polÃticas e intelectuais, diretores, professores e ex-alunas, monografias de conclusÃo de curso, fotografias e fonte hemerogrÃfica. Em tal percurso teÃrico-metodolÃgico, destaquei a oralidade como importante fonte da pesquisa., haja vista a tentativa de efetivar a (re)construÃÃo histÃrica numa perspectiva da âhistÃria vista de baixoâ, dando voz Ãs pessoas que tiveram papel central no projeto escolar encetado pelas escolas normais rurais do CearÃ. Assim, coloca-se no cerne da histÃria educacional cearense de meados do sÃculo XX, a mulher, ou seja, a professora rural, a educadora e missionÃria que assumiria a Ãrdua tarefa de iluminar o sertÃo via luz da instruÃÃo primÃria. / ABSTRACT The present research aims at studying teaching staff formation proposals for Teachersâ Training Rural Schools in Cearà from 1930 to 1960. Our purpose is to observe the discrepancies between government discourse and oficial documents and the everyday teacher-classroom practice. The research has helped us to evaluate teacher formation proposals at Rural Schools belonging to the social political context of post 1930 (President Vargas Era), and understand the role of the project in defining the ideal teacher profile for the rural area. To achieve these goals we have analyzed the ideas, experiences, practices, representations and the place reserved for rural area teachers at he beginning of the 20th century. We based our research on oral and written speeches, reports, public and private files and official documents among others. For us, the individual oral speeches were one of the most important sources for the research carried out since one of our concerns was to (re)construct the history from the point of view of teachers at the time period analyzed. Among the people who had an important part in the Teachers Training Rural Schools program we highlight the role played by women teachers, educators and missionaries who had the hard task of enlightening the country areas by means of primary education.

Činitelé ovlivňující pracovní výkon pedagogických pracovníků středních škol v Příbrami / Factors affecting performance of teaching staff of secondary schools in Pribram

This diploma thesis describes and analyses the factors influences the working performance. It deals with the basic terms from the management area about the working performance. Mainly the terms work performance, work efficiency, working performance management are described, also the factors influencing the working efficiency are described. It clarifies the difference between the personal assumptions for the working performance relating directly with the worker and external factors, which cannot be influenced by the worker. Thesis is closely aimed at the process and setting which emerges from the organisation running. These factors are verified by the research done at the secondary school in Pribram. The research is executed by quantitative method with the usage of questionnaires. These questionnaires were drawn up that it enabled to compare with the analysis of current definitions of the working performance and working productivity. In the implementation of the research were compared the influences of the individual groups of factors which influence the pedagogical workers' working productivity on the secondary high schools in Pribram. The analysis of the current definitions dealing with the working performance and productivity were confirmed.

1 ABSTRACT This thesis deals with the educational management of the teaching staff supervising the state graduation exams. The theoretical part explains the concept of educational management and focuses in detail on the managerial function of organization. It describes the current form of the state graduation exams, related legislation and institutions involved. The thesis explains the staffing of graduation exams and individual training programs for teachers, and clarifies the role of further education of teachers. The aim of the work is to optimize the organization surrounding the education of teachers supervising the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia. The data in the presented research were collected via a survey among participants of the education related to the state graduation exams in Prague and Central Bohemia in the school year of 2015/2016 and interviews with lecturers of relevant training programs. KEYWORDS Management, education management, organization, optimization, education, teaching staff, further education of teachers, state graduation exam.
