Moderní trendy v hotelnictví a gastronomie v Jihočeském kraji / Modern Trends in Hotelery and Gastronomy in the region of South Bohemia

This thesis is aimed at assessing and analyzing modern trends in hotelery and gastronomy in the region of South Bohemia. The theoretical part gives the reader information about the development of modern trends and explains the technical terminology, which relates to the topic. The practical part draws on information from actual marketing research. Another research project, conducted through anonymous inspections, where a "Mystery Guest" (the author of the thesis) assessed the quality of provided hospitality services from the point of view of a guest. The essential information was gained through opinions of tourism experts. The primary goal is to discover barriers to the growth as well as weaknesses and to determinate a "TOP 10" for gastronomical and a "TOP 10" for accommodation facilities in South Bohemia. The outcome of this thesis is a proposal for appropriate measures to eliminate shortcomings and to contribute to future development of this tourism region.

Daň z přidané hodnoty v cestovním ruchu / Value Added Tax in tourism

The subject of the diploma thesis is value added tax in tourism. Certain subjects that do business in tourism are obliged to apply a special travel service scheme for services provided according to the Act No. 235/2004 on Value Added Tax. In comparison with normal rules, this scheme simplifies the rules of application of the value added tax, though it is not applicable in all situations. The major aim of this thesis is to make a complete outline of the rules related to the application of value added tax in tourism and present suitable practical examples. Another aim of the thesis is to analyze the difference between the legislation of the special scheme according to the Act on Value Added Tax and according to the European Directive 2006/112/EC on the common system of value added tax. The theoretical focus is supplemented by practical examples with some completed tax returns for better understanding of the application of value added tax in tourism.

Magistro baigiamajame darbe analizuojama turizmo paslaugų sutartis, jos nuostatas reglamentuojantys LR bei kitų ES valstybių teisės aktai, atskleidžiami turizmo paslaugų teikimo kokybės teisiniai aspektai. Vykdant darbe iškeltus uždavinius, pateikiama turizmo turizmo paslaugų samprata, rūšys ir specifika, analizuojamos turizmo paslaugų teikimo sutarties atsiradimo priežastys, jos sudarymo bei įsigaliojimo sąlygos, apžvelgiama turizmo paslaugų teikimo teisinio reglamentavimo situacija. Turizmo paslaugų sutarties turinys šiame darbe nagrinėjamas, jos nuostatas lyginant su pagrindinių santykius šioje srityje reglamentuojančių LR teisės aktų bei direktyvos 90/314/EEC normomis, atliekant teismų praktikos analizę. Moksliniams tyrimams skirtoje darbo dalyje analizuojama ginčų, kylančių iš turizmo paslaugų sutarties nagrinėjimo tvarka; pristatoma LTA atlikta studija, kurioje, lyginant su kitų ES valstybių teisės aktų nuostatomis iškeliami turizmo paslaugų teikėjams ydingi LR teisės aktų normų aspektai; aprašoma turizmo paslaugų vartotojų anketinės apklausos metodika, pristatomi jos rezultatai ir jų vertinimai. Darbo pabaigoje pateikiamos išvados bei rekomendacijos turizmo paslaugų teikimo sutarties tobulinimui, apginamos iškeltos hipotezės. Darbe pateikti 5 paveikslai, 4 lentelės, 8 priedai. Darbo apimtis - 60 puslapių. / The concluding work for master's degree analyses the contract in tourism services legal acts of LR and other ES countries determening its reguliations, legal aspects of tourism services quality are as well dealt with in this study. According to the tasks risen in this particular study, the understanding kinds and specificity of tourism services are presented, the reasons of tourism services agreement appearance, the conditions of its performance and its coming into action are analysed, legal reguliation situation of tourism services is glanced at. The content of tourism services agreement is analysed in this study on the basis of comparing its regulations with the main lans of LR legal acts and directive 90/314/ECC norms regulating relations in the sphere, employing the analysis of court practice. The part of the study for scientific research deals with the analysis of arguments, rising from tourism services agreement, solving order. The study carried out in LTA is presented which points out invalid LR lan acts norms aspects in comparison with other ES countries law acts regulations, the methods of tourism services consumers questionaries are described, its results and evaluation are presented. The concluding part of the study presents the conclusions and recommendations for the improvement of tourism services agreement the outcoming hypotheses are defended. The study includes 5 pictures, 4 tables and 8 appendices. The scope of the study is 60 pages.

However, these areas are in great challenges for most countries, especially in regard to its funding and management. In this perspective, this study shows the historical process of evolution of the issues related to the preservation and conservation in the world, and the historical, economic, social and legal conservation units in Brazil. In order to show some of the mechanisms and models of management systems for protected areas, the study provides an analysis on the concessions of tourist services and the types of possible partnerships between the public and private sectors, Non-Governmental Organizations and institutions. The case study of the waterfall Morangaba Jundiaí, SP, analyzes the public use that is permeated by different interests and meanings, its relationship with ecotourism and management systems available to the site. The survey results identified the potential and feasibility of of partnerships with NGO, educational institutions and private companies. / As áreas protegidas são componentes vitais para a manutenção de áreas naturais e paisagens, conservação e preservação da biodiversidade e o fornecimento de oportunidades para o desenvolvimento das comunidades locais, ecoturismo, educação ambiental e pesquisas científicas. Porém, essas áreas constituem-se em grandes desafios para a maioria dos países, principalmente no que se refere ao seu financiamento e gestão. Nessa perspectiva, este estudo mostra o processo histórico da evolução das questões relativas à preservação e conservação ambiental no mundo e os aspectos históricos, econômicos, sociais e legais das unidades de conservação no Brasil. Com o objetivo de mostrar alguns dos mecanismos e modelos de sistemas de gestão para unidades de conservação, o estudo traz uma análise sobre as concessões de serviços turísticos, e os tipos de parcerias possíveis entre o público e o privado. O estudo de caso da Cachoeira de Morangaba Jundiaí, SP, analisou o uso público que é permeado por diferentes interesses e significados, sua relação com o ecoturismo e os sistemas de gestão disponíveis para o local. O resultado da pesquisa identificou o potencial e a viabilidade das parcerias com Organizações Não Governamentais, instituições de ensino e empresas privadas.

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a business concept to diversify the activities of a private farmer, operating in the region Pisecko, to the field of tourism, specifically to the agrotourism. At first, the surveyed area, accessibility, attractiveness and competitiveness were analyzed using secondary sources. In addition, primary sources were obtained with the help of a guided interview with the owner of a farm and a questionnaire survey conducted in travel agencies, tour operators and tourist information centers. Based on all the findings, the business concept of Jihočeské království was assembled. It includes a structural and technical solution, all services and the way of running the whole business, staffing and last but not least, the financial plan that demonstrates the viability of the project.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse commercial servises in the area Zlatý vrch and suggest the possible solutions of their develepment. The literary part, in which the basic terms of the topic are characterized, was written first. These terms are then used in the practical part. Subsequently, the situation analysis, where the whole territory is mapped, was worked out. Futhermore, the survey of the businesmen and also interwiews with the mayors of each municipality were carried out. SWOT analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats was prepared on the basis of these analyses. At the end, I proposed my own suggestions for the expansion of commercial services, which arise from the three main priorities: turism, business and environment.
