CareEagle - Det unika hjälpmedlet för ambulanssjukvården : CareEagle – The unique stand-by for the pre-hospital medical careBondéus, Emilia, Ellmarker, Josefin January 2016 (has links)
Every year SOS Alarm receives 3.5 million emergency calls via 112 and an ambulance is needed in one million of these situations. Working as a paramedic is very physically demanding and the profession is over-represented, in terms of attritional wear on the lower back and the shoulders. Every day the paramedics need to perform many heavy lifts and the deadlift is one of the most demanding. They perform a deadlift when a patient should be lifted from the ground up to height of the haunch. When the deadlift is completed, the paramedics transport the patient to the ambulance. Work below the knees and over the shoulders should not occur by ergonomic recommendations. When the paramedics perform a deadlift it’s always start below their knees which means that the start position is not advantageous and there is a high risk to be injured. There are many factors that can affect the lifting situation in a negative way for example uneven surfaces, tight spaces and worried patients. In this project a unique product has been developed to replace the deadlift which is a huge problem that no one else has solved before. By using the product, the deadlift can now be done with minimal use of human power. The product significantly simplifies the care of the patients and will reduce work-related injuries in the pre-hospital medical care.

Trolley Innovation Project - Serveringsvagn för flygindustrinEricson, Peter, Steineck, Nils January 2009 (has links)
<p>Bachelor thesis, Trolley Innovation Project, has been unique in the sense that it has been carried out over the borders of Sweden. Iacobucci S.p.A, located outside of Rome in Italy is one of the largest manufacturers of interior equipment for aircraft in the world. With approximately 30% of the market Iacobucci S.p.A is one of the world's largest manufacturers of catering trolleys.</p><p>The aim has been to produce a new competitive catering trolley for the airline industry. With customers and users in focus, the project team found that weight, ease of use, ergonomics and design were important aspects. Having a low weight of all the interior is particularly important when there is lots of money for the airlines to save in reduced fuel costs. The weight is really important, because of the currently major liquidity problems in the industry. </p><p>There are a lot of requirements how to build a catering trolley. For example, size, material, weight, safety, etc. This makes it extra hard to be innovative. Trolley Innovation Project has nevertheless, managed to build a catering trolley, that is up to three kilograms lighter than the existing variants from Iacobucci S.p.A. Among other things, a new brake system is developed, which is nearly 80% lighter than previously and also more ergonomic and user friendly. A new multi-functional side panel have been developed, whose structure is up to three times stiffer against a flat surface, and at the same time fulfills the purpose of shelves on the inside. </p><p>What will Trolley Innovation Project lead to? Thanks to the project new business links with Swedish and international companies have been created. The project team hopes that these contacts will remain valuable in the future. The innovations that have been developed during Trolley Innovation Project will inspire the product development work in a conservative industry and in particular lead to a more customer-and user-adapted catering trolley. The catering trolley will as a whole, or parts of it, lead to Iacobucci S.p.A's market share increases.</p>

qbits : Kombinerar användning och förvaring av bits / qbits : Combine usage and storage of bitsHöglund, Andreas, Sivertsson, Olof January 2011 (has links)
Aren’t you tired of never finding stuff? Take a bits as example, do you store these lose in your toolbox or carpenter belt? What if you could have it all accessible and assembled in a tool, always at arm’s reach? Today bits are used together with electric screwdrivers and handheld screwdrivers in a greater spread. For these different types of storage, from pure storage boxes to complex tools with storage built in, exist. The professional craftsmen commonly use some kind of box where the bits can be stored. Even so they tend to store their bits loose in a carpenter belt or toolbox, since they want the speed and accessibility of carpenter belt over the storage box’s tidiness. The project was started in the fall of 2010 and a referents group was early put together to ensure that the developed product became as user-friendly and attractive as possible. The referents group contained our target group, professional craftsmen and other competent persons within the field. In cooperation with the referents group a needs and wants list was put together to make sure that the product satisfice the need. The lack of a good storage solution has led to a unique product which suit for both usage and storage of bits. Through combining the carpenter belt and the storage box speed, accessibility and tidiness is obtained. A solution suggestion with a prototype was created which satisfied the set needs and wants. The solution was presented for the referents group and the response was good but improvements suggestions were given. These were taken and work began on a new version. The result became a new product, qbits, the unique tool which combine usage and storage of bits.

Spring Step : Utvecklandet av fotsteg för yrkesfordonOttosson, Fredrik, Håkansson, My January 2017 (has links)
Package delivery drivers often use Light Commercial Vehicles. This kind of vehicles are equipped with a sliding door on the side and two doors at the back. To make it easier to enter and exit the back of the vehicle, there is a step mounted to the chassis. When the driver picks up or delivers a package, he reverses towards the loading dock to able to load or unload through the back doors. You want to be as close as possible to the dock which is why you reverse until the step and the dock collides, this maneuver serves as an effective indicator to when the desired position is reached. The problem occur by repeating the maneuver is that step eventually breaks. Repairing the step is often not high priority due to high costs and long lead times. Two Innovation engineers has in collaboration with Modul-System HH AB developed a solution to this problem. Using product- and project development models, Spring Step has been developed which has a longer life span and saves transportation companies a lot of time and money. Spring Step is the resilient step that uses plate springs to shove the step under the vehicle during horizontal force. The product is customizable to any light commercial vehicle on the market due to the rail and bolts under the step.

PrePresentia : An appealing way to turn stage fright into stage delightHenriksson, Christopher January 2017 (has links)
/Christopher Henriksson

IMPLEMENTERING AV AI INOM HÅLLBARHET OCH ÅTERVINNINGLiljekvist, Mattias January 2022 (has links)
The waste industry is an important industry for both society and the climate, and where technological development makes waste sorting more efficient. The purpose of this project has been to identify new areas of use for the algorithm, called Spiral Code, which was developed by Professor Josef Bigun at Halmstad University. The technology is unique in its structure and function, where the code can be read regardless of how large a part of it is exposed during the moment of detection. The project's goal is to investigate whether it is possible to implement the Spiral Code at the company Envac in order to make their waste management more efficient. Conducted tests show that the Spiral Code can locate and identify the spirals in the messy environment that prevails during waste sorting and where today's method of optical color reading does not enable the identification of the origin of the waste. Furthermore, completed tests show that it is practically feasible to implement the Spiral Code on Envac's plant system. In order to get the best efficiency, some adaptations is recommended to be carried out, such as implementation of the Spiral code in Envac's camera and image analysis system, control and adaptation of the camera's location and improvement of lighting at the same to ensure correct detection.
