Henriksdalsskolan / Henriksdalschool

The plot is located in henriksdal just outside of Stockholm and is next to a major motorway, a residential district and a park. The location is urban and very loud by surrounding car traffic. But it also has a calm west.After studying some of my schools I went to as I grew up to get a better understanding and revive my memories of how I experieced the environments.What I noticed was that the school I had most memories of was the school that was not designed as a school, The stable. A elementaryschool school rebuilt from an old horsestable from the 18th century. The school’s dimensions, space and shape created something unexpectedly and in some way incorrectly created alot of exciting places and areas perfect for a child to discover and find their own little place. But I also got almost a personal connection with the building.This kind of “malplacé” and mismatch, unlike some impersonal square 70s of schools I went after, laid the foundation and inspired me for this project.The location and shape has been governed by the site analyzes I performed at the start of the project, where I wanted to shield off the big motorway but also to work with the narrow oblong plots without building too much on the height. The school began to take shape after I had experimented with the location of the program’s various functions.The lunchroom was placed as the school’s central room and with its double ceiling height, it also works as a junction that binds together the different functions of the school. This makes the lunchroom also a gathering place where students can meet. The classrooms stretches like an arm around the schoolyard, which creates a barrier to the highway but also frames the school yard and creates a direction of the park to the west. The youngest students’ classrooms is located at the far end, so they get  their own part of the school, but also when the teaching is more based on their classrooms.The students are growing more and more in school over the years until one reaches the body of the school where one goes more of a subject-based schooling. The school’s boundary between the inner and outer rooms should be thin so each classroom exept 4-6 has its own direct entrance to the schoolyard / Tomten är placerad i henriksdal och ligger intill en stor motorled, ett bostadskvarter och en park. Platsen är väldigt urban och väldigt belastad av omringande biltrafik. Men har även ett lugn mot väst. Efter jag utförde studiebesök i några av mina skolor jag gått i när jag växt upp i för att få en bättre förståelse och väcka minnen om hur jag upplevde miljöerna. Det jag märkte var att skolan jag hade mest minnen ifrån var den skolan som inte var designad som en skola, Stallet. En lågstadieskola ombyggd från ett gammalt stall från 1800-talet. Skolans grundläggande dimmentioner, rum och form skapade någonting oväntat och på något sätt felanpassat skapade massvis med spännande platser och skrymslen perfekt för ett barn att på sätt upptäcka och hitta sin egna lilla plats. Men jag fick även nästan en personlig relation till byggnaden. Denna form av “malplacé” och felanpassning tillskillnad från vissa opersonliga fyrkantiga 70-tals skolor jag efter gick i har lagt grunden och inspirerat mig till detta projekt.Placeringen och formen har styrts av platsanalyserna vi utförde i början av projektet där jag ville skärma av mot den stora motorleden men också att arbeta med den smala avlånga tomten utan att arbeta för mycket på höjden. Skolan började ta form efter jag hade experimenterat med programmets olika funktioners placering. Matsalen placerades som skolans centrala rum och med sin dubbla takhöjd fungerar även platset som knutpunkt som binder samman skolans olika funktioner. Det gör att matsalenn även blir en samlingsplats där eleverna kan träffas.Hemvisterna sträcks ut som en arm runt skolgården som skapar en barriär mot motorleden men även ramar in skolgården och skapar en riktning  om parken till väst. Dem yngsta elevernas hemvister är placerade längst bort då dem får sin avskilda egna del av skolan men också då undervisningen är mer baserad i just hemvisten. Eleverna växer även in mer och mer i skolan med åren tills man når själva kroppen av skolan där man går mer av en ämnesbaserad skolgång. Skolans gräns mellan inne- och uterum ska vara tunn  och varje hemvist förutom 4-6 har en egen direkt utgång till skolgården.

Samtalsdeltagarnas roller i en podcast : En samtalsanalytisk studie av ett institutionellt mediesamtal

I denna uppsats genomförs en samtalsanalys (CA) på två olika avsnitt från podcasten Värvet. Samtalsdeltagarna i materialet är podcastens programledare Kristoffer Triumf samt partiledarna Jonas Sjöstedt och Jimmie Åkesson. Syftet med uppsatsen är att ur ett språkvetenskapligt perspektiv analysera hur uppbackningar, avbrott och skratt fungerar i ett institutionellt mediesamtal där deltagarna har tydliga roller att utgå ifrån. Även samtalets kontext till analyskategorierna analyseras.  Resultatet i analysen visar att samtliga samtalsdeltagare följer de normer som tillskrivs inom ett institutionellt mediesamtal - där både intervjuare och intervjuobjekt integrerar i samspel. Uppbackningar som Mm och Aa används mest av Triumf i syfte att ge en fortsättningssignal till den som talar, samt att han inleder samtalet, ställer följdfrågor och avslutar samtalet. Skratt förekommer av alla samtalsdeltagare - men främst från intervjuobjekten Sjöstedt och Åkesson som verkar använda skrattet i syfte att lätta upp stämningen samt skapa en attityd gentemot sig själva. Avbrott i samtalet sker endast av Åkesson - där syftet verkar vara att försvara sig mot en eventuell kritik. Forskningen kan ligga till underlag för kommande analyser om institutionella mediesamtal där uppbackningar, avbrott och skratt är i fokus.

Energisimulering av Fortifikationsverkets Kontorsbyggnad 1 : Energisimulering och utvärdering av renovering

Detta projekt har som syfte att analysera en kommande renovering av en kontorsbyggnad i Boden under Fortifikationsverkets ägo. Projektet använder sig av programvarorna IDA Indoor Climate and Energy och Revit för att simulera byggnaden som den kommer att se ut efter att renoveringen är utförd. På detta sätt kan Fortifikationsverket utvärdera den utförda renoveringen med referensvärden tillhandahållna av detta projekt. Projektet introducerar läsaren till Revit samt simuleringsprogrammet IDA ICE och visar hur energianvändning kan simuleras för byggnader man önskar renovera. Ritningar, en energibesiktning av huset och uppmätta värden för tidigare år utgör underlaget för simuleringen och där värden inte finns tillgängliga görs antaganden. Den stundande renoveringen består av ett nytt ventilationssystem och strikta riktlinjer satta av Fortifikationsverket följs då renovering utförs. Renoveringen kommer att beröra tätning av byggnaden, sänkning av rumstemperaturer, effektivisering av belysning samt installation av effektivare fläktar, kylaggregat och värmeväxlare. Projektet finner att den stundande renoveringen sänker byggnadens årliga energianvändning med ca 31 %, uppvärmning och elförbrukning ingår i denna energianvändning och sänks med ca 29 % respektive 33 %. Byggnadens årliga uppvärmning och elförbrukning efter renovering fås till 409 009 kWh respektive 446 905 kWh. Av renoveringens olika åtgärder finner projektet att värmeåtervinning i ventilationssystemet hade överlägset störst verkan på uppvärmningen. Angående elförbrukningen hade effektivare belysning och effektivare fläktar störst verkan. / The purpose of this project is to analyze an upcoming renovation of an office building in Boden, owned by Fortifikationsverket. The project makes use of the software IDA Indoor Climate and Energy and Revit to simulate the building as it will function after completed renovation. This way Fortifikationsverket has a reference value to use when evaluating the actual performance of the building. The project introduces the reader to Revit as well as to the simulation program IDA ICE and shows how energy consumption may be simulated when one wishes to renovate a building. Drawings, an energy report and measured energy consumption act as the basis for the simulation and where values are not available assumptions are made. The upcoming renovation consists of a new HVAC system and rules set forth by Fortifikationsverket which are to be followed when a building under their regime is renovated. These rules consists of reducing air leakage, lowering room temperature and installing more effective lightning, fans, heat exchangers and air cooling. The project finds that the upcoming renovation lowers the yearly energy consumption of the building by approximately 31 %, heating and electricity are included in this energy consumption and are lowered by approximately 29 % and 33 % respectively. The yearly use of heating and electricity is found to be 409 009 kWh and 446 905 kWh respectively. Of the various measures taken by the renovation the heat recovery is found to be the most effective. The electricity consumption was lowered most by more effective lightning and fans.

This essay studies the historical phenomenon of dog-headed men (cynocephaly) andSaint Christopher who is in eastern-orthodox iconography depicted as a dog headedman. The study argues that a symbolic and phenomenological perspective is preferredto understand mythical figures with “unnatural” depictions. In order to reach aconclusion about the symbolic meaning behind dog-headed men and SaintChristopher, the human experience of dogs and their role in our world is examined indetail to construct a theory concerning their symbolism. The theory is then applied todepictions of dogs and dog-headed men in religious stories and images as well ashistorical accounts to see if the theory fits the facts.The study concludes that dog-headed men and Saint Christopher symbolize a kind of“guardian of the border”. What it means to guard the border has different implicationsdepending on if the dog-headed man is depicted in a Christian or non-Christiancontext. When reading the story of Saint Christopher with this pattern in mind, thereason for his legendary depiction is revealed. The conclusion is supported bycomparing Saint Christopher to stories from the bible which symbolize “the rolewhich the border can play as a part of the whole”. The dog-headed men of history, thesaint and the biblical stories all reinforce the symbolism of each other, revealing thedeeper meaning behind the wild, peripheral side of Christianity.
