Vadovavimo kokybės kaitai bendrojo lavinimo mokyklose strategijos / Management strategies for quality vicissitude in comprehensive schoolsSabaliauskienė, Daiva 05 March 2010 (has links)

In my paper I have tried to find out what quality is, how it is perceived in comprehensive schools, which management strategies ensure processes of quality vicissitude. In the theoretical part I have reviewed a conception of quality in literary sources, analyzed management principles and strategies that guarantee quality vicissitude.
In empirical part I have showed how quality is perceived in exploratory education institutions, analyzed how chosen management strategies influence quality of education, and prepared a model of quality evaluation.
My research involved 5 Alytus County schools, 144 teachers, 228 students, 228 parents and 12 school principals and their deputies.
The results of the research showed that quality conception in schools is based on organization of education process, reassurance of safe environment, students’ results, and purposeful management.
According to all respondents’ opinion a sense of security is a very important factor when aiming for quality.
Teachers and students are quite worried about the change, renewal of school philosophy; still, at the same time they are interested in innovations, education documents that ensure vicissitude of education quality.
Students’ motivation is emphasized as one of parameters of quality... [to full text]

Previous issue date: 2013-11-11 / The mosaic of human frailty is revealed in Freud‟s Civilization and its discontents through the precarious and finite existence, the hardships and threats arising from Nature and the ambiguous relations with the other. Given this injunction, the Freudian subject, subsumed and insurgent in the cultural field, disturbed by the noise of the drives and the dark tones of the oppression of the reality principle, is endlessly confronted with the desire and the demands of external reality. The theme is developed from notions of psychoanalysis present in the work above in liaison and dialogue with the fields of social philosophy, questioned by two symbolic registers of human expression, politics and aesthetics. The main question lies in the bonds between civilization and culture that determine a complex and oppressive system of needs for the subject in order to glimpse the faces of the contemporary malaise. The central hypothesis is that despite the complexity that engenders unease and the wide adaptive force that impels it, its social configuration is not impervious to the dialectical telos of history and its properties: coercion and rebellion, subjugation and emancipation. From the hypothesis, two perspectivations arise: the possibilities of overcoming the self-reproduction of the politics that overweighs the reality principle, and the scope of the subversion of experience, a quality inherent in art and the aesthetic function, as an emancipatory path. The reflective and analytical course of this thesis was based on the clarity that subjectivation processes are not separated from their historical production; or in other words, it is the real historical process that constitutes the subject in the present state of things / O mosaico da fragilidade humana se revela na obra O Mal-estar da Civilização de Freud pela precária e finita existência, pelas agruras e ameaças advindas da natureza e a ambiguidade das relações com o outro.

Fusing organisational change and leadership into a practical roadmap for South African organisationsBlom, Tonja 05 1900 (has links)
The intention of this study was theory creation in the field of organisational change,
directed towards the creation of a conceptual change framework. A qualitative
research approach was followed and a grounded theory methodology adopted.
This study involved a theoretical investigation of organisational change and leadership
within South African organisations, although insights gained could be transferred
across contexts or settings. The primary aim was to create a practical change
framework to ensure sustainable organisational change. Secondly, to determine the
impact of leadership on successful organisational change. Thirdly, to establish
whether any fundamental elements can be identified as essential for inclusion in such
a change framework. Fourthly, to identify non-negotiable success factors that can
ensure successful change. Fifthly, to determine the human elements that should be
included in order to minimise negative outcomes such as resistance and noncompliance.
The final aim was to ascertain what meta-insights can be gained from
organisational change and leadership.
The research findings concluded that the first perception when speaking about change
is fear, anxiety and increased stress, resulting in impaired functioning. Organisations
struggle to handle increased stress levels during periods of change and require
improved methods of dealing with stress to ensure optimal individual functioning. Only
through reduced stress levels will individuals be able to engage with organisational
change initiatives.
Alternative intervention technologies were suggested which could assist the individual
change journey through reduced stress and/or increased consciousness. These
alternative intervention technologies were suggested because of the paucity of current
literature. It practically aids organisations on how to deal with the stress dilemma.
This research introduced the concepts of anti-leader and anti-manager. These
concepts depict the negative characteristics of leadership and management which
invariably increases individual stress levels. Emotions elicited by the anti-leader and/or
anti-manager could potentially split, divide and fragment a workforce.
The ideal organisational approach should be designed by the people, be inclusive of
all, involve, empower and allow individuals to make the required decisions. As
organisational change can only be effected through individual change, this thesis
places the individual in the centre. Without individual change, vicissitude and
sustainable organisational change become highly unlikely. / Business Management / DBL
