Disserta??o (Mestrado Profissional) ? Programa de P?s-Gradua??o em Sa?de, Sociedade e Ambiente, Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri, 2016. / The domestic and conjugal violence against woman is the most disseminated and generalized kind of violence against women; this appears like a public health serious problem. Although the research data show this characteristics about victims, it cannot be to say that it is neither the priority kind of woman who are attacked and nor that just they were attacked, since there are so many woman who did not notify the suffered violence. However, it is relevant to consider the analysis and divulgation of this information, since it will be an important instrument to the health secretariat, social assistance secretariat, civil police, DEAM, social movements and the population who want to face the domestic violence against woman in the Diamantina town (MG).

This dissertation is the result of a research process that sought , from the speech of women in situations of violence , examine the difficulties these women to access the "network " of assistance to women victims of violence in the city of Natal/RN . Therefore , we made a critical analysis from the perspective of totality on the processual ontological " being a woman " and " be a man " , articulating the determinations of the subjective and objective dimensions in the lives of women at this juncture . Thus , also reflecting on the system of oppression of women through Capitalism / Patriarchate , articulated with other determinations of reality , as race / ethnicity , sexual orientation , generation and territoriality . Because of the oppression of women in all aspects of social life , the feminist movement led to the public domain claims against the oppressions of women and fight for Public Social Policies that aim to the particularities of women , among them, the social policies of coping violence against women . The speeches of the women interviewed show the contradictory aspect of work in women's lives . On the one hand , can become a means to financial independence ( with the possibility of exit from violent means). On the other , it can become "cause " of justification for the exercise of violence against women by their partners or former partners . Also show that despite legal advances , there is no effective implementation of policies aimed at women . This occurs as a result of capitalism / patriarchy and the context of neoliberal management of big capital . Thus , the feminist movement , as well as the social movement of the working class , must seek the empowerment of women through the struggle to end all forms of oppression , exploitation and domination among humans.

Several studies show that this phenomenon can cause severe health damages to women, including psychological symptoms and difficulties in emotional self-regulation. This thesis involves two empirical studies with quantitative, correlational and transversal design, with a sample of 47 women with history of domestic violence. The first study evaluated depression, anxiety and emotional regulation levels. Furthermore, it was investigated the seriousness of violence situation and the level of suffered and perpetrated aggression by women. Lastly, it was investigated the difference on depression, anxiety and emotional regulation levels between women who had reported suffering violence and those who had identified suffering and perpetrating violence. The results indicated mild levels of anxiety, moderate levels of depression and emotional dysregulation among participants. Positive correlations in these variables were found and no differences in depression, anxiety and emotional regulation levels in studied groups. The second study evaluated the history of childhood maltreatment and extreme stress (complex trauma) diagnosis. The results revealed that all participants had maltreatment situations during childhood and 30% showed complex trauma diagnosis. It is concluded that domestic violence is a risk factor to women's mental health and that maltreatment history is often present in their lives. The results suggest the need of treatment protocols with focus on depression, complex trauma and emotional regulation.

Through the methodological approach of biographical narrative was possible to identify the main topics presented on the speeches that permeate freedom life after detention period. Biographical interviews were realized with seven women who were kept in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, jail, being the interview of Marilene analyzed using sequential manner and the others evaluated in a global manner, following the pattern of biographical narratives analysis developed by Gabriele Rosenthal. The biographical narratives pointed three aspects: ex prisoner stigma, expressed as a latent manner such as the ways it appear in the biographical reports of Marilene and others interviewed. The second point presented is the reinforcement of gender roles, used to mitigate the image of ex-prisoners. The third point emphasized on the interviews and analyzed on the present work is the correction character that ex-prisoners accredited for the prison system. This research intends to contribute for freedom experiences comprehension after in jail period. Biographical narratives demonstrate that analysis of prior biographical periods, such incarceration and the prior experiences, might contribute to comprehend the way freedom is experienced. Among the outcomes of this work is the finding which, at least, the sample researched do not confirms the logical worked by the writers that the jail would work as a ?crime school?. The considerations leads to understanding of prisoners interviewed want a new opportunity. The priority given to family is used as motivation for not relapse. The research suggests the necessity to amplify, in future works, the number of interviews to be sequentially analyzed, with the purpose to build defined biographical typology for the experience of freedom after in jail period.

It aims to analyze and reflect about the role of media, particularly television, on the process of reproduction of patriarchy system of gender on the context of Brazilian society, from content and narrative news about crimes committed against Andreia Rodrigues and Eliza Samudio. In light of the critical perspective, we seek to apprehend the particularities of patriarchy as a system of domination and subjugation of women, and also reveal the involvement of traditional means of media on reproduction and maintenance of inequality between men and women. To apprehend that reality, we had as guidance a critical social theory, grounded in historical-dialectical materialism which enabled us to apprehend the phenomenon under investigation actually enrolled in a dynamic and contradictory reality. The research had qualitative approach. We appeal to the specialized literature of the area from classical and contemporary authors. We conducted a content analysis of categorized matters, and interviews with individuals involved in issues of gender and / or communication. The critical examination of the matters indicated that television journalism is permeated by the contradictions inherent in social life, means that states and restates the ideology of ruling classes, their values and worldviews, but also express conflicts and social demands. The study revealed that prevails on television playing stereotypes and gender inequalities. We could also see that violence against women gets a sensationalist overblown approach and with no insights on the social relations that determine and base it. A pesquisa teve abordagem qualitativa.

To do so, we situate the patriarchy in the set of current social relations and its relationship with the corporate determinations in everyday life. The new functions of the Patriarchy in the capital sociability permeates the lives of individuals and particularizes the relationships of violence which affects women, requiring, in the immediate level, policy-making to face them. The research found an arsenal of contradictory possibilities and limitations in dealing with violence. In this process, forms of struggle and resistance predominate, which appear as possibilities and limits were identified relate to the socio-historical context of regression of the rights, historical moment in which increase the objective difficulties in everyday life to ensure the legal achievements. It is worth to emphasize the achievements and contradictions that characterize the struggle process for rights, linking services to women to the social policies and to the limits they face in opposition to the aims of the State to meet the mandatory requirements of capital, reducing its role as the main guarantor of policies and rights. In this sense, the trajectory of the achievements that have referred to the proclamation of a specific law to deal with combat violence against women, the Maria da Penha Law - 11.340/06, which provides an integrated set of measures that, if implemented, would allow the women protection from relations of violence they experience. We identified in Rio Grande do Norte precarious services that are essential to achieve the Maria da Penha Law. This situation requires a feminist organization to claim the rights that enable women to see themselves as people with rights in the process of collective struggle. This is the historical need for continuity of struggles that accumulate policies for the existence of a new model of social relations of gender. One of the possibilities that are presented in the current context is the impact on the public budget in order to ensure compliance with the budget for public policies for women - woman budget. In this perspective, feminist segments in national and state level have been organized to understand the functioning and monitoring of social policies. This is a condition and prerequisite for ensuring policies to ensure basic rights and the violence combat , which still requires an integrated set of services. The survey results allow us to consider that the struggle for rights is necessary at this historical moment, however it is not sufficient in human emancipation, which requires new forms of social relations that determine substantive equality between men and women. Thus, the feminist movement faces the challenge to organize and strengthen itself in daily life, in order to execute a project that changes the meaning of women's rights, articulated to a corporate project which wants other command in the set of social relations . This study emphasizes the need for a more and more organic connection between feminism and social struggles, to ensure the inclusion of women in anti-capitalist struggle / Este trabalho sistematiza os resultados obtidos na an?lise dos servi?os de atendimento ?s mulheres que enfrentam viol?ncia no contexto do capitalismo contempor?neo.

This is a descriptive, exploratory and representational study, whose methodological approach falls into the qualitative category. We chose as a scenario for research, by the Reference Center for Citizen Women (CRMC), Natal / RN. The criteria for selection of participants were women who lived/live in situations of domestic violence, with affective or relationship bonding with the assailant, in psychological and emotional positions appropriated to the reality; that are being protected or assisted by the service listed above; whose aggressor is male. We adopted as data collection instruments: questionnaire, Drawing-Story (DE) and a field diary. For analysis of textual data, we decided to use the ALCESTE software conjugated to editing analyze and initial reading. Were investigated 20 women victims of domestic violence, whose author of the attacks was the husband/partner. We identified, from the respondents, that 70% (n = 14) of men with aggressive behavior also had a family history of violence and fragile family relationships. About the physical and emotional condition of the assailant at the time of violence, 50% (n = 10) of these men, regardless the use of alcohol, had often quarrelsome and/or nervous behavior, impatient and unpredictable humor facing a setback, worry or annoyance. Regarding the nature of violence, we observed that women were victims of all types of violence, however, the psychological prevailed in 100% of cases. The corpus "Men" has three classes, whose focuses are, respectively: resignation, denounce and violence/aggression, being possible categorizing them as well: Category 1: The imprisonment of women; Category 2: Violence and its meanings; Category 3: Breaking the violent cycle. We show that the social representations of man s aggressive behavior, from the women in situations of violence, are anchored in the social roles of men in family and society, becoming a dominant model of masculinity. It is aimed, on one hand, from the reproduction of what is already known and/or experienced by male aggressors in the family, as repetitions of behavior. And on the other, present themselves as a state of illness, addiction or psychopathy / Objetivamos apreender as representa??es sociais do comportamento agressivo do homem sob a ?tica da mulher em situa??o de viol?ncia intrafamiliar.
