Compleatly

Klamborn, Ida January 2011 (has links)
It all started with a thought of one single colour; the colour red. The idea of building a collection from one colour was frighten- ing and intriguing at the same time. It was frightening because I didn’t know if it was enough to build a whole collection on only one colour, but the possibility to find other expressions arouse my curiosity. But why red? I find that this colour, of all colours, has the deepest range of shades. With red ink and my fingers as tools I created an ab- stract sketch to refer to. When the differ- ent shades come together it creates a great vivid expression of the whole picture. I am not interested in one shade alone, it is the interaction between two or more which are interesting. / Program: Modedesignutbildningen

Effects of videoconferencing on perception in the courtroom

January 2014 (has links)
abstract: A sample of 193 participants viewed one of six variations of an eyewitness giving mock testimony. Each participant viewed testimony, which varied by level of emotion (none, moderate, or high) and frame (waist-up or head only). Participants then rated the witness using the Brodsky Witness Credibility Scale and the Reyson Likability Scale. A set of ANOVA's was performed revealing an effect of emotion level on both credibility and likability. Emotion level was found to influence participant judgments of poise, however, to a lesser degree than judgments of credibility and likability. These results suggest that attorneys may want to avoid the use of videoconferencing with certain types of witnesses where testimony may be highly emotional. / Dissertation/Thesis / M.S. Vivid Agents: How They Deliberate, How they React, How They Are Verified

Wagner, Gerd 12 July 2019 (has links)
We propose a model of an agent which is both logical and operational. Our model of vivid agents takes into account that agents need not only the ability to draw inferences but also to update their current knowledge state, to represent and to perform (and to simulate the execution of) actions in order to generate and exe- cute plans, and to react and interact in response to perception and communication events. We illustrate our formalization of this basic functionality of an agent by means of examples. We also show how our model fits into the transition system semantics of concurrent reactive systems by identifying the five basic transitions of vivid agent systems: perception, reaction, planning, action, and replanning.

The present work suggests to think Education by phenomonologic/hermeneutic point of view while significant possibilities mediate for Esthetics experience. Understanding not as the form science but as a being’s fundamental disposition, this Esthetics take into account the comunicability that can be seen on speech, gesture, posture and common experiences’ singularity. The start point of this reflection is the french hermeneutist Paul Ricoeur (1913 – 2005) who defends the human understanding by the ontologic structures of a being that realize himself on the vivid world , at each moment, attributing meanings at his existence by the comprehension/ interpretation of his own actions. Supported in an own reading about philosophers as Husserl (1859 – 1938), Merleau Ponty (1908 – 1961) and Heidegger (1889 – 1976), the ricoeuring thought understands the man while state of being since always throw in a world that constitutes himself and in other hand, is constituted by himself in the ontological belongness relationship. A belongness being, always happening, contingent, that can question about his existence, that establishs with the world a significations’ net and structures his existence based on them. Thus, a something’s understanding is since always auto-comprehension. It’s understanding himself as a world bearer that the man, the state of being, recognizes himself while a being capable to multiple existences: historical, reigious, ethics, esthetics, artistics. The question in this reflection starts with the didacties practices observation and wants to see the Esthetics as a pedagogic dimension adjacent to all relations put in practice on the school ambient and all the systematic contents.

Consumers behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic : A quantitative study on consumers' experience and purchase decision about fast fashion advertising on social media during the Covid-19 pandemic / Konsumenters beteende under Covid-19-pandemin : En kvantitativ studie om konsumenters upplevelse och köpbeslut om snabbmodeannonsering på sociala medier under Covid-19-pandemin.

Jalmgård Väkeväinen, Elin, Martinelle, Josephine January 2022 (has links)
Background: Social media have become a platform for communication between companies and consumers. However, when the pandemic of Covid-19 occurred it gave consequences such as staying home and social distance. As a result, companies had to adapt to the changed behaviors. Purpose: This research thesis aims to study how consumers experienced fast fashion advertising on social media during the pandemic of Covid-19. Furthermore, how consumers have experienced individualized fast fashion advertising on social media during the pandemic. Lastly, if the advertisement has impacted consumers' purchase decisions during the pandemic. Research questions: How and in what way have consumers experienced fast fashion advertising on social media during the pandemic of Covid–19? How and in what way have consumers experienced individualized fastfashion advertising on social media during the pandemic of Covid-19? How and in what way has fast-fashion advertising on social media affected consumers' purchase decisions during the pandemic of Covid-19? La poétique de la "vive représentation" et ses origines italiennes en France à la Renaissance / The poetics of "Vivid representation" in the Renaissance french poetry

Rees, Agnès 12 December 2011 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to emphasize the importance of "vivid description" in the poeticalrevival, which was started in the middle of the sixteenth century around Ronsard and Du Bellay by a group of young poets, who will name themselves "la Pléiade". The poetics of "vivid representation", or "vivid description", expressions borrowed from poets and theoreticians of the years around 1550, is, in a context of competition and rivalry not only with pictorial arts, but also with neolatin and italian poetry, closely bound to the wish to illustrate and enrich the french language by means of enhancing poetry's power of expression. Although vivid description represents a heritage of the energeia of the Ancients, it is by employing specifical figures of speach, such as ekphrasis and hypotyposis, and by developing a florid language, that it asserts itself in the lyrical poetry of the years 1550, where it introduces the typical patterns of heroic style. Our work consists in a definition of the issues and processes linked to this poetry by studying its elaboration and the way it was put into practice in poetical and theoretical french writings published between 1547 and 1560, and by retracing the origins of this notion to italian arts of poetry and treatises.
