The primary aim of h s research is to evaluate crime and its effect on people from a Reformative perspective. Furthermore to develop a social work support model, according to which co-ordinated services can be provide to all people that are affected by crime in the Northwest Province as an exemplar of a rural community. The thesis consists of three sections. Section A includes in the first place a reference to the actuality of the research. It is namely clear that the level of crime in South Africa, in some instances the highest in the world, requires extensive support for the survivors of these criminal acts. Therefore, the research aim, as given above, lead to four specific objectives. Section A also explains the research methodology. The research was structured according to the Intervention research model within the qualitative research approach. Data was collected by means of a literature study, comparison of the systems of victim support in the Netherlands and South Africa and interviews using a semi-structured interview schedule. Section B consists of the four articles that form the report about the research outcomes. Each article is a report about a particular sub-project of the research and each has, as self-contained units, an own research aim, research method and report Each of these is linked with the central aim, objectives and content of the over-arching research project. The four articles are: In Article 1, 'Crime and its impact on people - a Christian perspective', crime is turned down and it is argued that the survivor of crime should be cared for within the Biblical perspective. Article 2, 'A comparison between the support systems for victims of crime in the Netherlands and South Africa', provided clear guidelines for support systems in developing communities. The formation of a h e support network and the provisioning of compensation to victims are some of these guidelines. In Article 3, 'An investigation into support available to survivors of crime in the North-West Province' it was found that a lack of specialized and professional services is present as well as the lack of co-ordination in the provisioning of the support services. An effective support system of professional services is of the utmost importance and resources, especially h a n d resources, are required to develop an attainable and sustainable support system. The fourth article 'A model for support services available to crime affected people in the North-West Province' contains the model that was developed for support to crime affected people in a rural and deep rural area of our country. The model can be illustrated by a network consisting of four panels, each including particular institutions providing particular services. In Section C a summary of the findings and recommendations of the full research project is provided. Vägen mot anställbarhet : en fallstudie av ett rehabiliteringsprojekt

Syftet med denna D-uppsats är att undersöka hur den nya betoningen på arbetslinjen påverkat rehabiliteringsarbetet för långtidssjukskrivna med psykisk ohälsa samt arbetets målsättning att öka de sjukskrivnas ”anställbarhet”. Utöver detta ämnar vi även se hur gränsdragningen mellan Arbetsförmedlingen och Försäkringskassan gällande individernas anställbarhet formas i praktiken. Vi har valt att genomföra en fallstudie med hjälp av kvalitativa djupintervjuer från det relevanta projektet och problematiserat dessa empiriska resultat med teoretiska perspektiv passande för vårt problemområde. Studien bygger på dominerande teorier inom området anställbarhet och domänkonflikter men har även inslag av teorier ifrån områden såsom strukturfunktionalism. Arbetslinjens betoning i socialförsäkringspolitiken antyder en förändrad mentalitet rörande hanteringen av långtidssjukskrivna, framför allt med psykisk ohälsa. Försäkringskassan och Arbetsförmedlingen arbetar med olika förutsättningar för att nå liknande mål vilket kan resultera i domänkonflikter rörande vad som karaktäriserar en anställbar respektive icke-anställbar individ. I projektet har man genom dialog med projektmedlemmarna konkretiserat de individuella dimensionerna av begreppet anställbarhet genom framväxten av en modell – den s.k. SMAK-modellen. Den nya betoningen på arbetslinjen resulterar i ett hårdare rehabiliteringsklimat för de långtidssjukskrivna i kontakt med Försäkringskassan samt en ansvarsförskjutning rörande deras ohälsa. Projektet i fråga har med hjälp av den framväxande modellen SMAK givit begreppet anställbarhet en praktisk innebörd för deltagarna. Gränsdragningen mellan de två myndigheterna med anställbarhet som vattendelare kan verka problematisk med de två skilda målsättningarna som myndigheterna har och då ingen myndighet formellt har huvudansvaret för en individs rehabilitering, dock har inte vår fallstudie kunnat påvisa att dessa problem varit rådande för det studerade projektet. / The purpose of this thesis is to illuminate the new emphasis on the swedish work model and it’s results in the rehabilitation work preformed in the swedish social security agency with the aim of increasing the patients “employability”. Apart from this we also intend to study the establishing of boundaries between the social security agency and the unemployment agency when it comes to a person working capacity and the practical formation of individual employability. We have chosen to conduct an empirical survey through a qualitative case study. This case study has been made through several interviews with project members. We have then analyzed these results in relation to theoretical perspectives we view relevant for our area of study. The thesis is based on dominating theories in the area of rehabilitation and social roles but also has certain influence from theories deriving from the establishing of boundaries and the conflicts arising between the boundaries. The emphasis of the work model in swedish social security signals a changed mentality in the rehabilitation of the sick-listed, especially those suffering from mental disorders. The social security and unemployment agencies work under different conditions and with different aims which in turn can lead to conflicts in regards to their areas of responsibility. In the studied project the staff has, through dialogue, preformed a concrete approach as to what characterizes the individual dimensions of employability through the emergence of the so-called SMAK-model. The new accentuation on the aforementioned work model has resulted in a harsher climate for the sick-listed as well as a relocation of the responsibility affiliated with their sickness. The studied project has, with the help of the SMAK-model, given the debated term ”employability” a practical significance of individual dimension for the participants of the project. The formation of boundaries between the two agencies can seem problematic in regards to their different aims and fields of expertise and lack of formal responsibility for the rehabilitation of an individual, yet we have not been able to decipher any such problems existing in our studied project.

Different locations, same destination : Creating a sense of belonging in hybrid work environments.

Covid-19 made working from home more accessible, and even after the pandemic is over, numerous organizations in Sweden have made the choice to continue work from home through so-called hybrid work models. This study is done in a co-creation with a large Swedish retail company, ICA that uses the hybrid model.  The study examines how the hybrid work model has affected office workers' sense of belonging through a survey consisting of a quantitative and a qualitative part. The effect on social, professional, and environmental sense of belonging is examined in this research. The study also investigates how and if factor such as gender, age, and length of employment have affected the sense of belonging for office worker. The results of the study show that the change to the hybrid work mode has influenced the sense of belonging for the office worker. The effects on social belonging are found to be both beneficial and detrimental, while the influence on professional sense of belonging whit the implementation of the hybrid work model is showing mostly beneficial outcomes. The impact on environmental belonging is that the office is preserved as more of a social workplace where ideas are exchanged, social contacts are held, whilst the home office is space where work can be done in peace and without distractions.

Tekniska aspekter i hybrida arbetsmodeller / Technical aspects in hybrid workmodels

De tekniska aspekterna saknas idag inom många ramverk inom hybrid arbetsmodelltrots att de är viktiga för övergången från fysiskt till helt eller delvis distansarbete.Covid-19 pandemin har medfört att många företag varit tvungna att ställa om frånfysiskt till distansarbete. Vilket har lett till att vissa företag har haft det svårare änandra.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka tekniska aspekter som kan underlättaövergången från fysiskt kontor till helt eller delvis distansarbete. Med hjälp avintervjuer, tidigare forskning samt existerande ramverk så kommer nya tekniskaaspekter att presenteras och delas in i kategorierna teknik och organisation. Uppsatsenhar till avsikt att genomföra en kvalitativ datainsamling, datainsamlingen skeddegenom kvalitativa intervjuer. Informanterna som intervjuades arbetar inom ITbranschen.Det empiriska resultatet presenterar informanternas svar i olika kategorier såsomteknik, arbetsmiljö och hybrid arbetsmodell. Detta visade bland annat flera olikatekniska aspekter samt att informanterna föredrar en hybrid arbetsmodell.Vidare efter det empiriska resultatet så genomfördes en analys. Analysen visade attdet finns värde i att med hjälp av digital transformation implementera de tekniskaaspekterna i ett hybrid arbetssättramverk. Vidare visade analysen att hybrid ettarbetssätt kommer vara en del av ett framtida arbetssätt.Det empiriska resultatet ställdes mot den tidigare forskningen där det visade sig attflera av punkterna i tidigare forskning till viss del stämmer överens med vadinformanterna berättade.Sammanfattningsvis presenteras flera olika förbättringsförslag vad gäller teknik ochorganisation till framtida ramverk. Dessa förslagen är kompletterande till existeranderamverk och ska inte ses som en ersättning för ramverken.

Brist på arbetskraft som matchar arbetsgivarens behov gör konkurrensen om rätt kompetens stor. Det gör att organisationer kan behöva locka sökande bosatta på annan ort. Det krävs också att arbetsgivaren kan locka med rätt komponenter vilka kan skilja sig beroende på tjänst och livssituation. Den här kvantitativa enkätstudien är baserad på 129 svar som analyserats för att besvara syfte och frågeställningar om vilka faktorer arbetare och tjänstemän finner attraktiva för att bli intresserade av att pendla till ett arbete.   I studiens teoretiska referensram introduceras läsaren till forskningsområdet genom en bak-grund och tidigare forskning. Sedan följer redogörelser av pendling och teorierna Work-life balance, attraktivt arbete samt Attractive work model. I metodavsnittet redogörs därefter för datainsamling, dess urval, hur enkäten utformats och hur databearbetningen gått tillväga.   I studiens resultat och analys redovisas skillnader mellan vilka faktorer som är mest attraktiva beroende på om man är arbetare eller tjänsteman och vilka faktorer de har gemensamt. Här redovisas också vilka faktorer som är viktiga för att underlätta livspusslet då restiden till arbetet kan ha inverkan på privatlivet. I resultatet framkommer bland annat att arbetare prioriterar trygghet, trivsel och socialt umgänge medan tjänstemän anser att kunna styra sin arbetstid, plats att arbeta och hur man lägger upp det egna arbete är några faktorer som värdesätts mest. Gemensamma faktorer som både arbetare och tjänstemän ansåg vara mycket viktiga är det som underlättar balansen mellan arbete och privatliv, till exempel att kunna ta kortare ledigheter samt lättheten att ta bil till arbetet. Ytterligare betydelsefulla faktorer är inflytande och delaktighet, gemensam värdegrund och känna att den egna kompetensen är efterfrågad prioriteras högt. I den sammanfattande diskussionen sammanställs slutsatserna för att besvara frågeställningar och syftet. Till sist förs en diskussion om förbättringar och förslag till vidare forskningsfrågor inom ämnet.

Avaliação comparativa da alteração dimensional de diferentes materiais utilizados para a confecção de troquéis / Comparative evaluation of dimensional change of different materials used to die making

Neste trabalho experimental, objetivou-se avaliar comparativamente a alteração dimensional de três diferentes materiais utilizados na confecção de troqueis: gesso tipo IV Fuji Rock (GC), resina epóxica industrial Sikadur 32 (Sika) e resina epóxica Tri-Epoxy Die Material (Tri-Dynamics). Foram confeccionados dois modelos-padrão em aço inoxidável. Um desses modelos foi confeccionado de modo a simular um preparo para coroa total em um pré-molar. O outro modelo foi confeccionado 2,0mm maior em todas as dimensões em relação ao primeiro de modo a proporcionar um alívio uniforme para a base leve do material de moldagem. Trinta troquéis foram obtidos a partir de moldes em silicona de adição (Aquasil Dentsply) utilizada com a técnica de dois passos. Os troqueis foram divididos em grupos de dez para cada material. As alterações foram mensuradas através das medições da altura e dos diâmetros da base e do topo dos troqueis obtidos, com o auxílio de um Projetor de Perfis Deltronic DV-114 com leitura em software. As medidas obtidas foram dispostas em tabelas e analisadas estatisticamente. Após avaliação pode-se concluir que houve diferença estatisticamente significante entre todos os grupos testados. Os troquéis de gesso tipo IV Fuji Rock (GC) contraíram nas medições da altura e do diâmetro do topo, e expandiram nas medições do diâmetro da base, apresentando diferença estatisticamente significativa em todas as comparações com o grupo controle (metal). Os troquéis de resina epóxica Tri-Epoxy (Tri-Dynamics) contraíram nas medições da altura e do diâmetro do topo, e expandiram nas medições diâmetro da base, apresentando diferença estatisticamente significante somente no diâmetro do topo nas comparações com o grupo controle (metal). Two standard models of stainless steel have been made. One of these models was prepared to simulate a full crown preparation on a premolar. The other model was prepared 2.0 mm larger in all dimensions compared to the first one so as to provide an uniform relief for impression material mild base. Thirty dies have been made from molds in vinyl polysiloxane (Aquasil - Dentsply) using the two steps technique. Dies were divided into groups of ten for each material. Changes were evaluated by measuring the height and diameter of bottom and top of the dies with the aid of a Deltronic DV-114 Profiles Projector with reading software. The resultant measurements were arranged into tables and statistically analyzed. After evaluation, it was concluded that there was a statistically significant difference among all tested groups. Gypsum Fuji Rock type IV (GC) dies shrank in tops height and diameter measurements, and expanded the bottom diameter measurements, showing statistically significant differences when compared to control group (metal). Epoxy resin Epoxy-Tri (Tri-Dynamics) dies shrank in tops height and diameter and expanded in bottom diameter measurements, showing statistically significant difference only in tops diameter when compared to control group (metal). Epoxy resin Sikadur 32 (Sika) dies shrank in tops height and diameter measurements and expanded in bottoms diameter measurements, showing a statistically significant difference when comparing to control group (metal).

Changes were evaluated by measuring the height and diameter of bottom and top of the dies with the aid of a Deltronic DV-114 Profiles Projector with reading software. The resultant measurements were arranged into tables and statistically analyzed. After evaluation, it was concluded that there was a statistically significant difference among all tested groups. Gypsum Fuji Rock type IV (GC) dies shrank in tops height and diameter measurements, and expanded the bottom diameter measurements, showing statistically significant differences when compared to control group (metal). Epoxy resin Epoxy-Tri (Tri-Dynamics) dies shrank in tops height and diameter and expanded in bottom diameter measurements, showing statistically significant difference only in tops diameter when compared to control group (metal). Epoxy resin Sikadur 32 (Sika) dies shrank in tops height and diameter measurements and expanded in bottoms diameter measurements, showing a statistically significant difference when comparing to control group (metal).
