The company System Andersson is developing systems for controlling materials and production in industries. They want to add a new service, where parts of those systems are accessible through cell phones. In this paper we are investigating which technology are best suited for this kind of application. And then we describe how we are developing a prototype fort this application, based upon that technology. After investigating technologies such as Java ME, Microsoft Silverlight, and web applications we settled upon building the system as a web application, customized for a mobile environment. To build a web page which is readable by many different cell phones we use the markup-languages which are developed for cell phones. We put much effort in reading about the standards and recommendations for the mobile web, produced by the organizations W3C and OMA. It's also very important that one consider the limitations of cell phones, such as the small screens, their limited performance and their limited means of input and navigation. Finally we are very thorough in our testing on several cell phones created by different manufacturers and with different operating systems and web browsers. On the server we are running ASP.NET, with a database using Microsoft SQL Server, since this was a request from the company. The development is made in C#. We reach a fully operational application with the functions that the company has requested. We got functions for handling orders, changing jobs, supply management, listing employees, and more. We also got a class for generating and rendering of lists and tables for easy and customizable lists for small screens. The application has support for several users with a secure login function. We have also created a system running as a service in Microsoft Windows, which is regularly sending messages, in the form of e-mails to the users of the mobile application. The messages contain user defined reminders, e.g. that the factory is running low on a certain material. The message system is well integrated with the rest of the system, in which one can list the active reminders, edit them or create new ones. Overall this has been an interesting and successful project.

This is a degree work, connected to the education Media and Communication engineering at the University of Linköping, and is made for TEFK a furnishing company in Sjövik. The purpose of this degree project is to create a visual identity and to develop a databasedriven website. The goal was to clarify the visual identity and to build an appealing website that could be administrated by the company. They had a need to present their products and to let their customers be able to order directly through their website. The website also had to serve as a part of the marketing by informing the visitors about the company. The result became a website developed in ASP.NET that presents the company and its products and lets the costumers place orders. Further they now have an interface for easy management of the website and its content. The company has guidelines on how to produce graphical content. On the basis of these guidelines we produced a new businesscard and document templates for common communication. In the end both we and the company are very satisfied with the result with this degree project. This thesis describes the work that has been done.

During the period of this project I have programed a web site in php4, and also built the database in MySQL. The purpose with the projekt is to create a common web site for the various activities in the different churches located in the area of Örnsköldsvik. In my project I have chosen to try to find a structure of programming that fits my needs as a dyslexic. In the essay you can find a more thorough description of my procedure and the structure that I have chosen to use. / Under kandidatarbetesperioden har jag programmerat en webbsida i php4 samt byggt databasen i MySQL. Syftet är att skapa en gemensam sida för de olika kyrkornas aktiviteter i Örnsköldsviksområdet. I mitt arbete har jag valt att försöka finna en programmeringsstruktur som passar mina behov som dyslektiker. I arbetet finns en mera grundlig beskriven av mitt tillvägagångssätt och över den struktur jag har valt att använda.

The master’s thesis deals with creation of system that provides video on demand. Technologies which are used to creation mobile application are analyzed. There are also mentioned today's most used codecs in the mobile devices. There are described standards, norms, principles and recommendations for transfer multimedia data on network in real time. Technologies which are appropriate for functionality of system on server side are described. The output of the work is an operational sample of whole system and description of functionality of this system.

This thesis is aimed at the usage of PHP language and MySQL database system towards the creation of information system for a learning center. A deep analysis is performed before the design of an application together with the database structure, which is appropriate for the environment. An increased emphasis is laid on security and easy expansibility of the application in this analysis. Further on is described the design phase of the application and all the problems that came up. In the end of this work are listed possible extensions and improvements of this application.

1995 wurde mit dem Aufbau des Multimedia Online Archiv Chemnitz (MONARCH) begonnen. Aktuelle Entwicklungen sind der Einsatz von RDF für die Metadaten und von digitalen Signaturen. Die technische Sicherung der Dauerhaftigkeit erfolgt durch Migrationskonzepte. Zu den vorhandenen Dokumentenformaten wird XML kommen, diskutiert werden DTD-Alternativen. Als Anwendungsaspekte werden u.a. die Behandlung aggregierter Dokumente und der Umgang mit dem Plagiatsproblem betrachtet.

This thesis describes the type of documents named Office Open XML, which are commonly known as OpenXML. Basic properties of these documents as well as their structure are explained. There is also an introduction to other technologies such as DOM and XHTML beacause of their inevitability in realization. Program library is designed to read these documents, build a DOM structure for them and export it as a XHTML file.

Contents of this master thesis is create suggestion of optimal e-commerce of company of a Musil firm. On the basis of this thesis the firm should be able to realize its web ecommerce. This thesis can be simultaneously used as instruction for others small and middle-sized firms at solving of analogous problem.
