Esta dissertação tem o objetivo de analisar a implementação do feriado municipal de 20 de novembro, denominado Dia Nacional da Consciência Negra em homenagem ao Herói Nacional Zumbi dos Palmares. A simbologia histórica do Quilombo dos Palmares traz a problemática da subalternidade imposta às populações negras em África e na diáspora atlântica. O trabalho discute através das contribuições das Ciências Humanas, a integração social da população negra brasileira. Os movimentos sociais negros são discutidos à luz das teorias dos chamados novos movimentos sociais. Uma pesquisa documental analisa as legislações que implementaram o feriado 20 de Novembro no ABC Paulista. Posteriormente, uma pesquisa empírica com ativistas anti-racistas da região retrata o contexto político e a movimentação dos atores sociais favoráveis e contrários ao feriado. / This thesis aims to analyze the implementation of the municipal holiday of November 20, called the National Black Consciousness Day in honor of the National Hero Zumbi dos Palmares. A dissertação trata do estudo do projeto de assentamento rural enquanto instrumento de espacialização de políticas públicas de reforma agrária. Por ser recente objeto de estudo para arquitetos, o projeto de assentamento é tomado do ponto de vista das diretrizes de projeto e de sua resultante de implantação. Organizada a partir da aproximação com o contexto no qual foram criados, a pesquisa revela que foi entre a vigência dos dois planos nacionais de reforma agrária que foram criados o maior número de assentamentos em São Paulo, e que dos três tipos estudados, o assentamento federal foi o mais implantado. O estudo das diretrizes dos três tipos de projeto resultou na organização de indicadores e variáveis. Organizados em escalas de abordagem, revelam a história de criação do projeto e guiam a leitura do ambiente construído. Tomado como objeto de estudo, o assentamento Zumbi dos Palmares representa, com seus indicadores e variáveis, a maioria das ocorrências paulistas registradas na pesquisa. / The dissertation deals with the study of rural settlement project as a tool for spatialization of public policy for agrarian reform. For being recent object of study among architects, the settlement project is taken from the point of view of the project guidelines and their resulting deployment . Organized from the approach to the context in which they were created, the research reveals that between the two national plans for land reform that were created the largest number of settlements in São Paulo, and that of the three types studied, the federal settlement was the most deployed one. The study of the guidelines of three types of project resulted in the organization of indicators and variables. Organized on scales of analysis they reveal the history of the project creation and they also guide the reading of the built environment. Regarded as an object of study, the Zumbi dos Palmares settlement represents, with its indicators and variables, most part of the incidents in São Paulo that have been recorded through this research.

The verses created by Trindade keeps the vigor of blackness, besides reporting the Afro-Brazilian experience and sentimentality, as mentioned by Sousa (2004). Solano Trindade describes the Afro-descendants through his speech, reporting episodes of relevant characters to the black historical process in Brazil, featuring Zumbi dos Palmares, icon of the struggles and revolutions in Brazilian territory. Zumbi dos Palmares was a quilombola leader in colonial period, having congragated thousands of blacks in his refuge, Quilombo dos Palmares, offering resistence to the colonizer. The memoirs evoked in the poems are motivating examples to those who want to remain resisting to the illegitimate interventions, threatening of the full exercise of citizenship by a portion of the Afrodescendant population. Still persist in our society the racial discrimination and other forms od prejudice. Between the poetic discrimination of Solano Trindade we perceived ideas that points for the questionamento of the constituded power against the devaluation of the black and its consequente impoverishment. To Machado (2009), Solano Trindades´s speech is a means of restauration, a way of resistance that constitutes an ancestral dialogue between the blacks of ―yesterday‖ and those who wish to survive and persevere in its personal aspirations and culture of nowadays, without leaving aside the principles carried out by its ancestors. We use the theoretical assumption of Duarte (2004, 2011, 2016), Ferreira (2006), Paz (1982), Said (2011), Souza (2004), Bernd (1988, 1992, 2011) among other theorics in which we rely ro the critical deepening of the research. / Esta pesquisa apresenta uma poética que analisa a ancestralidade e a valorização do negro na diáspora, como uma vertente literária de resistência, enfatizando a escrita do poeta negro Solano Trindade, perfazendo um estudo a partir da obra Cantares ao meu povo (1961). Os versos criados por Trindade mantêm o vigor da negritude, além de relatar a vivência e sentimentalidade afro-brasileira, como menciona Sousa (2004). Solano Trindade descreve a história dos afrodescendentes através do seu discurso, relatando episódios de personagens relevantes para a construção do processo histórico do negro no Brasil, com destaque para Zumbi dos Palmares, ícone das lutas e revoluções dos negros no território brasileiro. Zumbi dos Palmares foi líder quilombola no período colonial, tendo congregado milhares de negros no seu refúgio, o Quilombo dos Palmares, oferecendo resistência à ação do colonizador. As memórias evocadas nos poemas são exemplos motivadores para aqueles que querem permanecer resistindo às intervenções ilegítimas, atentatórias ao exercício pleno da cidadania por parte da população afrodescendente. Ainda persistem em nossa sociedade a discriminação racial e outras formas de preconceito. Através da produção poética de Solano Trindade percebemos ideias que apontam para o questionamento do poder constituído contra a desvalorização do negro e seu consequente empobrecimento. Para Machado (2009), o discurso de Solano Trindade é um meio de restauração, um caminho de resistência que constitui um diálogo ancestral, entre os negros de ―ontem‖ com aqueles que desejam sobreviver e perseverar nos anseios pessoais e culturais da atualidade, sem deixar de lado os princípios protagonizados por seus antepassados. Utilizamos os pressupostos teóricos de Duarte (2004, 2011, 2016), Ferreira (2006), Paz (1982), Said (2011), Souza (2004), Bernd (1988, 1992, 2011) entre outros teóricos em quem nos baseamos para o aprofundamento crítico da pesquisa.

Initially, we pointed to the historical elements responsible for the access and ascension of a Negro population parcel to the private and public employs. Throughout a criticizing reading of the 26 editions of the institutional magazine Afirmativa Plural, from year 2004 to 2009, we looked up to capture the Ideological principles guidance and action of the founder group Unipalmares. Their superior education project feature as a project to black and other origins group a humanistic university graduation, having as center of attention the ethnic and cultural diversity. However, those editorials showed an educational project almost exclusively marked by an allusion to graduated well succeed black executives contingent. Thereunto, besides the contents target to an executive graduation, there are some histories about well succeed black persons used as models to be followed. As the selected images chosen for magazines covers reinforce the idea of creating a mid-lass reality to be achieved for the students, forging, this way, a certain anxiety to belong to this universe of consumerism and prestige symbol.(Au) / Nesta pesquisa, empreendemos uma análise sobre a ideologia de classe média que permeia o projeto educacional da Faculdade da Cidadania Zumbi dos Palmares. Inicialmente, procuramos pontuar os determinantes históricos responsáveis pelo acesso e ascensão de uma parcela da população negra paulistana, ao mercado de trabalho assalariado e ao sistema de ensino público. Em seguida, através de uma leitura crítica de vinte e seis editoriais da revista institucional Afirmativa Plural, de 2004 a 2009, buscamos apreender os princípios ideológicos que norteiam as ações do grupo fundador da Unipalmares. Seu projeto de formação superior apresenta como objetivo proporcionar aos estudantes, negros e não-negros, uma formação universitária humanística, tendo como foco a diversidade étnica e cultural. No entanto, os editoriais evidenciaram um projeto educacional quase que exclusivamente marcado por alusões à formação de um contingente de executivos negros. Para isso, além dos conteúdos direcionados para a formação executiva, há as histórias de negros bem sucedidos que servem de modelos positivos a serem seguidos. Nessa direção, as imagens selecionadas para a capa das edições reforçam na criação de uma realidade, de classe média, a ser alcançada pelos estudantes, forjando, assim, uma certa ansiedade em pertencer àquele universo pautado no consumo como símbolo de prestígio.(AU)

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / Starting from the idea that, in postmodernity, the epic genre receives a new look, which also suggests extension to the string, we will investigate the mythico-historical representation of Zumbi dos Palmares in the face of the dialogue between the epic and the string in the opening of alternatives for the insertion of other discourses (the silenced ones) in History. In view of this, the theme of this work is the study of Zumbi dos Palmares' epic-heroic representation, in cordel, accompanied by reflections on the insertion of this hero in the historiography of the nation and how it appears portrayed in the various literary works. The research aims to focus the historical and mythical treatment given to the heroic figure of Zumbi dos Palmares in string poems that build the representation of this hero, and therefore, are configured as expressions of a popular epic. For this, the discussion will be developed in three stages. In the first stage, we will explore the issues related to the incorporation of Zumbi dos Palmares into historiography. In this stage, we will reflect on the insertion of Zumbi dos Palmares in History (AUGEL, s / a; MOURA, 1972; REIS, 2004; GOMES, 2011; SANTANA, 2012; ARAÚJO, 2015), considering the dislocations of hegemonic discourses. We will reflect, mainly, on the transformations that led the historical discourse to be renewed to recover the forgotten subjects of history, those who came to have the space denied. In the second moment, we will highlight the theoretical aspects about cordel literature and the epic genre. Initially, we consider the study of the theoretical reference contained in History of the Brazilian epic (2007), by AnazildoVasconcelos da Silva and Christina Ramalho, and Christina Ramalho's epic poems: reading strategies (2013) in order to present a synthesis of the the epic theoretical categories formulated to then relate them to the cordel genre itself (Peregrino, 1984, CAVIGNAC, 2006, CURRAN, 2003, LUCIANO, 2012 and ZUMTHOR, 2010). In the last stage, we will analyze the selected works Zumbi, a dream of equality (s / a), by the Sergipe writer JosineideDantas (Gigi), Zumbi dos Palmares Black hero of Brazil (2007) by Fernando Paixão, Zumbi symbol of freedom ) by Antônio Carlos de Oliveira Barreto and Zumbi dos Palmares In Cordel (2013) by Madu Costa, who contemplate the figure of Zumbi dos Palmares, with a view to the confluence between the aesthetic and the ideological. The third moment, therefore, refers to the study of the epic heroism present in the chosen works, since the approach recognizes the double existential condition of the hero: the historical and the mythical. We will take into consideration the following questions: how is Zumbi described?; What historical events are focused ?; How is the insertion of Zumbi in the wonderful plan? Are there differences between the works under the historical record?; How does the narrative voice fit? How is the linguistic apparatus configured in each poem? The final question will be: can each of these string poems be considered a popular epic manifestation? / Partindo da ideia de que, na pós-modernidade, o gênero épico recebe um novo olhar, que também sugere a extensão ao cordel, investigaremos a representação mítico-histórica de Zumbi dos Palmares face ao diálogo entre o épico e o cordel na abertura de alternativas para a inserção de outros discursos (os silenciados) na História. Em vista disso, o tema deste trabalho é o estudo da representação épico-heroica, em cordel, de Zumbi dos Palmares, acompanhado de reflexões sobre a inserção desse herói na historiografia da nação e o modo como ele aparece retratado nas diversas obras literárias. A pesquisatem por finalidade enfocar o tratamento histórico e mítico dado à figura heroica de Zumbi dos Palmares em poemas de cordel que construam a representação desse herói, configurando-se, por isso, como expressões de uma épica popular. Para isso, a discussão será desenvolvida em três etapas. Na primeira etapa, exploraremos as questões ligadas à incorporação de Zumbi dos Palmares à historiografia. Nessa etapa, refletiremos sobre a inserção de Zumbi dos Palmares na História (AUGEL, s/a; MOURA, 1972; REIS, 2004; GOMES, 2011; SANTANA, 2012; ARAÚJO, 2015), considerando os deslocamentos dos discursos hegemônicos. Refletiremos, principalmente, sobre as transformações que levaram o discurso histórico a ser renovado para recuperar os sujeitos esquecidos da história, aqueles que passaram a ter o espaço negado. No segundo momento, destacaremos os aspectos teóricos sobre a literatura de cordel e o gênero épico. Inicialmente, consideramos o estudo do referencial teórico contido em História da epopeia brasileira (2007), de Anazildo Vasconcelos da Silva e Christina Ramalho, e Poemas épicos: estratégias de leitura (2013), de Christina Ramalho, de modo a se apresentar uma síntese das categorias teóricas épicas formuladas para, em seguida, relacioná-las ao próprio gênero cordel (PEREGRINO, 1984; CAVIGNAC, 2006; CURRAN, 2003; LUCIANO, 2012; ZUMTHOR, 2010).Na última etapa, analisaremos as obras selecionadas Zumbi, um sonho da igualdade (s/a), da escritora sergipana Josineide Dantas (Gigi), Zumbi dos Palmares Herói negro do Brasil (2007), de Fernando Paixão, Zumbi símbolo de liberdade (2008), de Antônio Carlos de Oliveira Barreto e Zumbi dos Palmares Em Cordel (2013), de Madu Costa, que contemplam a figura de Zumbi dos Palmares, com vistas à confluência entre o estético e o ideológico. O terceiro momento, portanto, se refere ao estudo do heroísmo épico presente nas obras escolhidas, pois o enfoque reconhece a dupla condição existencial do herói: a histórica e a mítica. Levaremos em consideração as seguintes questões: Como Zumbi é descrito?; Que eventos históricos são enfocados?; Como se dá a inserção de Zumbi no plano maravilhoso?
