Sledování aktivity raka říčního (Astacus astacus) a raka pruhovaného (Orconectes limosus) v laboratorních podmínkách / Activity of noble crayfish (Astacus astacus) and spiny-cheek crayfish (Orconectes limosus) under the laboratory coditions

MUSIL, Martin January 2007 (has links)
Activity of noble crayfish (Astacus astacus) and spiny-cheek crayfish (Orconectes limosus) under the laboratory coditions University of South Bohemia České Budějovice - Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries Author: Martin Musil Contact: mue.@seznam.cz Abstract: Some authors point out, that the American species are more activated than European during the day. Noble crayfish (Astacus astacus L.) is the night animal. Spiny-cheek crayfish (Orconectes limosus Raf.) is the most agresive species with more activity during the day, whose is of itself ecologic and reproductions characteristic typical r{--}strategist. And over than above it is a vector of crayfish plague. Objective of this study was the observe the daily and noctural of both species, the influence of fish predators and murmurs of agresivity. The bulk of this work was in ethologic laboratory with using videotechnic in control conditions and directed lightregimen. The findings see the big diference between species, that the spiny-cheek crayfish is more activated that the noble crayfish (51,4%{$\pm$}4,33 of the 24 hour activity) with slight diference between the day and night. Someones of the subjects don´t look for the cover during the experiment, it were mainly the females, whose activity were better than the male. Noble crayfish embodied low aktivity (15,1%{$\pm$}8,22 of the 24 hour activity) with more highly diference between the day and night and with slight diference between the sex. The inherence of the fish predator have had slight influence on the both species, rather sometimes take on the crayfish attention. The agresivity of the both is at least comparable, so it isn´t clear, that the spiny-cheek crayfish would be more successful in proximate competetion without the infection of crayfish plague.

Nezávislé monitorování ETE RC SÚJB České Budějovice, návrh nezávislého monitorování ETE za MÚ RC SÚJB České Budějovice / Independent monitoring of Nuclear power plant Temelin environs by Regional centrum of SONS České Budějovice. Project of independent monitoring NPPTE in the case of Emergency incident.

ZEMAN, Karel January 2010 (has links)
The State Office for Nuclear Safety (SONS) and the National Radiation Protection Institute (NRPI) are involved in independent monitoring of surrounding areas of nuclear power plants (NPPs), in accordance with the Czech legislative requirements (Decree No. 319/2002 Coll. on radiation monitoring network (RMS), as amended by Decree No. 27/2006 Coll.). The monitoring includes surveillance of environmental samples, in which radionuclides can be detected in case of emergency event, i.e. radioactivity release from the NPP. Another part of the monitoring is measurement of photon dose equivalent, continuously in the air (early detection network - SVZ) or using thermoluminescent dosimeters (TLD) placed in SONS monitoring points in the NPP vicinity. Environmental sampling and evaluation of photon dose equivalent in the air is carried out in regular intervals. The 137Cs and 131I activity is measured by gamaspectrometry method used with Gamat evaluation program, according to SONS internal procedure (VDMI). Tritium activity in surface water is measured by liquid scintillation spectrometer Beta TriCarb made by Canberra Packard Company, according to methodology CSN ISO 9698 (757635). Evaluation of dose equivalent rate is carried out continuously by LB 6360 proportional probe and LB 6500-3 Geiger-Muller tube located in RC Building in Ceske Budejovice. TLD evaluation is carried out by NRPI laboratory in Prague and the results are sent to SONS RC Ceske Budejovice. Goal of this work is to provide a set of results of the independent monitoring in surrounding areas of Temelin NPP (ETE) carried out between 1999 and 2009, by determination of volume, mass or surface activity of environmental samples (137Cs and 131I) and spot samples of water (3H) taken from SONS monitoring points near ETE . The set of such results should provide a baseline reference values for normal (pre-accident) situations. Additionally, based on the long term of the ETE surrounding surveillance, it can be shown that the ETE operation represents no threat to the health of the critical population group, and that the radiation situation in the ETE surrounding is stable. It can be also shown that the ETE operator meets requirements and conditions of authorized limits for discharging radionuclides into the environment. Procedures and method of independent environmental monitoring in the ETE surrounding during emergency events can be proposed on the basis of many years of experience with proven methodologies, experience with sampling locations, staffing and organization of measurement.

Životní styl mládeže středních škol na Teplicku / Healthy Lifestyle of Secondary Schools Youth in Teplice

Fürst, Roman January 2017 (has links)
The diploma thesis addresses the lifestyle of the high school students in Teplice; in particular their healthy lifestyle. In the theoretical part, basic information about a healthy lifestyle is summarized. At the same time, the lifestyle information is introduced, which relates to healthy diet, eating habits, fluid intake, motion activity and sleep. Furthermore, the determinants harmful to human health are introduced in this part; i.e. alcoholic beverages overconsumption, smoking or excessive mental strain. The practical part is aimed at mapping the major factors of the high school youth's lifestyle in Teplice and to ascertain whether the taught subject focused on health and healthy lifestyle influences the students and their attitude to a healthier lifestyle. I evaluated the questionnaire survey by means of self-made evaluation methods based on the healthy lifestyle principles. The reason was that none of the discovered methods for poll evaluation corresponded with my needs. The results are clearly arranged in the attached tables and demonstrated in the charts. The health based subject taught at school proved to have only a minor impact on the healthy lifestyle of high school students. The appendix includes the sample of the evaluation method created by myself, the questionnaire applied for the...

Hanusová P.: Alkaloids of Amaryllidaceae family: isolation, structural identification, biological activity. III. Diploma thesis, Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology, Hradec Králové, 2017. For phytochemical study was selected plant cultivar Narcissus cv. PROFESSOR EINSTEIN. The aim of the work was to isolate Amaryllidaceae alkaloids in pure form and screening of their biological activities. Summary alkaloidal extract was prepared from 34 kg of fresh bulbs and separated by column chromatography. Preparative TLC and crystallization were used for the isolation of substances from subfraction 6/1. Two pure alkaloids of galanthamine structural type were obtained. The alkaloids were identified based on their MS, NMR analysis and optical rotation as narwedine and lycoraminone. Lycoraminone has been isolated for the first time from natural source. Both substances were tested for their acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinestease and prolyl oligopeptidase inhibition activity. Anticancer activity against two gastrointestinal cancer cell lines Caco-2 and HT-29 (colorectal adenocarcinoma) and antimalarial activity has been also measured. Unfortunately, none of isolated alkaloids showed some significant activity in biological assays. Keywords:...

Dohnalová, Alice January 2017 (has links)
Dohnalova A: Alkaloids of Amaryllidaceae family: isolation, structural identification, biological activity. I; Diploma thesis, Charles University, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Department of Pharmaceutical Botany and Ecology, Hradec Králové, 2017, 64 p. The Amaryllidaceae family includes bulbous, beautifully flowering plants that have been used for thousands of years in traditional medicine. The major chemical compounds found in this particular plant family are alkaloids, namely Amaryllidaceae alkaloids. Until now, more than 500 isoquinoline alkaloids have been discovered, which exhibit a diverse biological activity including antitumor and antibacterial. They are also able to inhibit acetylcholinesterase. The aim of the diploma thesis was to process 34 kg of fresh bulbs of Narcissus cv. PROFESSOR EINSTEIN and to prepare an alkaloidal extract. This extract was further divided by column chromatography to almost 500 fractions which were merged based on TLC into 27 subfractions. The subfractione No. 17 was selected for isolation of at least one pure alkaloid. Preparative TLC was used for the the isolation. One pure compound was obtained in crystalic form which was then subjected to structural analysis by EI-MS and NMR methods. Further studies of biological activities were performed in...
