This thesis was created in years 2013/2015 at the Institute of Post-Harvest Technologies of Horticulture of the Mendel University in Brno. The thesis deals with the nutritional composition of grapevine juices with the emphasis on phenolic constituents, about the methods of determination of the antioxidant activity and the technology of production of fruit juices and the legislative requirements on their quality. In the practical part, the variety of grapevine juices with the addition of spruce chips or their extracts was suggested and sensorial parameters, all of the polyphenols and the antioxidant activity was determined.

In the experiment the influence of different storage conditions of annual bottle aging on changes in the composition of phenolic compounds in white and red wines was observed. Total phenolics, flavanols, anthocyanins and antiradical activity were observed. A higher content of phenolics and a higher antiradical activity were detected in red wines. Higher temperature induces a higher content of phenolics in white wines. In red wines, higher temperature induces a lower content of total phenols. The content of flavanols in white and red wines decreases more at a higher temperature. The decrease of anthocyanins was observed in all red wines. Antiradical activity has increased in white wines with a cork stopper. In red wines, antiradical activity has decreased. The best storage conditions are low temperature and darkness. Classic cork stopper is the best closure for red wines. White wines closed by a screw cap were sensory evaluated more positively, cork stopper induces a higher antiradical activity.

This Master's thesis is focused on problems of modern agriculture. Current agriculture is facing many problems that already exceed the production area. Among these belong soil degradation caused by inappropriate agricultural practices, erosion phenomena, etc. Both developed and developing countries have experienced these problems. This soil degradation is mainly caused due to lack of soil organic matter content. Current agriculture therefore faces the issue of how to solve this problem. A simple solution is based on increasing the content of the soil organic matter in arable land. In the first part, this thesis describes various problems of modern agriculture and also suggests possible solutions. Regarding to content of soil organic matter, the thesis proposes solutions in the form of compost application into the soil. Besides compost, thesis presents an alternative organic fertilizer Jatropha seed cake. Jatropha seed cake is produced as waste after oil extraction from seeds of Jatropha curcas L. In the first part both of these substrates are further described, along with characterization of Jatropha curcas L. The aim of this thesis was to compare the fertilizing effects of Jatropha seed cake with compost. For this purpose, a pot experiment was conducted under controlled laboratory conditions. Application effect of Jatropha seed cake and compost on soil and plants was monitored at selected soil indicators. The results describe the impact of Jatropha seed cake and compost application on production of plant biomass, soil hydrophobicity rate, mineral nitrogen mobility and soil microbial activity.

The diploma thesis focuses on moving activity among older pupils of basic school in České Budějovice. The research carries out physical exercises of girls and boys during both working days and weekends in connection with fitness competence. 41 pupils of the 8th class took part in the research. They filled in the internet questionnariesof online system INDARES. To measure week activities they used pedometers. The results of the measurement were statistically worked out by the Centre of kinantropological research in Olomouc and they were recorded in tables and charts. The outcome showed students' superiority during weekdays in comparison with weekends. Physical activity of boys and girls was not much different. Link between exercises and fitnesscompetence could not be proved.

The thesis is focused on economic situation of the chosen business during the years 2007 to 2015. This selected company to provides printing and advertising services. In the methodical part are describes the main methods of the financial analysis which helps with understanding this issue and extending outcomes from the basic accounting documents. The main part consists in application of those methods on the individual company situation. Results are detected by indicators of financial analysis it means indicators of horizontal and vertical analysis, differential indicators, profitability, liquidity, activity and indicators of financial ratios. The interdependence of some indicators that changes return on equity are shown by pyramid of ratio. For the general approach are also used creditworthy and bankruptcy models. According to the obtained results are identified problem areas in the economic activity selected company. In conclusion are proposed optimization solutions to remove economic problems.

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of the company AMMANN Czech Republic, a. s. in the years 2010 to 2014 using selected indicators of the financial analysis. This thesis is divided into two parts, the first part provides of the theoretical background, introducing the basic concepts, history, users, data sources and individual indicators, their formulas and explanation. In the second part of the thesis is selected company characterized and selected indicators of financial analysis practically applied. Lastly there is an evaluation of the company´s financial situation which is based on the results of the financial analysis.

Thesis Healthy lifestyle of young population is dealing with a concepts which are related to a leisure and healthy life style mainly in theoretical part of this thesis. More of that are desscribed a factors which affect the healt level. Next content is related to the disease caused by the non helathy life style. Quantity of leisure centers and their participants are statistically calculated in practical part of this thesis. Also the participats of optional hobby groups and the cost for them. Analysis of two similar students with overweight was proceed in view of their BMI, rating habits, exercise and healthy life style recommendations. Conclusion content is handling with a current situation in youth centers and was specified a proposals for a better education of healthy life style.

The thesis deals with the economic analysis of company Frátherm, s. r. o., in the period 2010-2014. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts, each of which is broken down into other chapters and subchapters. The theoretical part summarizes theoretical knowledge of economic analysis, their indicators and other analyzes internal and external environment of the company. These theoretical findings are used in the practical part, where are applied to our selected company. The company is also compared with the values of the sector in which it operates. The results of the practical part are summarized in the discussion. In conclusion, the proposed recommendations to improve the current state of the company, which is based on the analytical part. As a basis for the diploma were used particularly outrageous publications, financial statements of the company and the summary data for the entire industry.

This diploma thesis deals with the financial analysis of the Farm Vodňanský Ltd. based in Blíževedly in the period from 2006 to 2014. By analyzing is detected the status of the company and its expected development. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is devoted to fundamental financial analysis methodology used in the thesis, literature review showing various aspects of the definitions and scope fin. Analysis, sources, and users of financial analysis. The practical part first briefly introduces selected farm and after that is made its financial analysis that includes an analysis of absolute indicators, selected indicators of flow and ratios. It is followed by Du Pont pyramid of decomposition and systems of selected indicators of purpose. Based on analyzes, the company is economically healthy and is able to continue with investing and expansion. The last part of the thesis presents recommendations for optimization to further development.

The thesis is focused on analysis of physical activity of secondary students in Ceske Budejovice. The literature review describes the period of adolescence with its psychical and physical changes and deals with physical activity in this developmental stage. The research part is aimed at monitoring of physical activity of the students by pedimeter. Third-year students participated the research and monitored their physical activity through INDARES web portal. The results were processed statistically and presented in charts.
