Analýza marketingových aktivit vybrané obchodní firmy / Analysis of marketing activities of chosen commercial corporation

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of marketing activities of chosen commercial corporation. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first, theoretical, part covers key concepts for this thesis which are retail and marketing. Retail is presented in context with business, individual retail store formats and retail trends. Then there are described marketing tasks, marketing process including marketing strategy, marketing plan with marketing mix and estimate costing. Components of communication mix are described in a closer detail. The practical part covers introduction of the company, its history and structure. Then analyzes main competitors, customers and includes SWOT analysis. From these analyses deduces company's objectives. Then there are described and analyzed single components of marketing mix, and elaborately communication activities. The communication activities are in context with the communication campaign started at the end of the year 2010. At the end of the practical part there are suggestions and improvement proposals followed from foregoing analysis.

The thesis deals with the nature and the causes of the Czech migration into Ireland. Globalization, the available information and communication technologies and in general more accessible forms of transportation allow millions of people to effectuate their migration plans. From the historical point of view, migration is not unknown to Czech people. The goal of the thesis is to investigate the form and type of Czech migration into Ireland and to understand the causes and reasons of this migration and, if possible, determine whether the Czechs are transmigrants. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the integration of Czech people into the Irish job market and other areas of the life of Irish society. To achieve this, both quantitative and qualitative methods are used. The thesis aims to bring a compact portrayal of migration and integration of the chosen sample of the Czech immigrants into Ireland. Additionally, the thesis elicits particular underlying factors of integration and migration. The thesis is oriented to an alternative approach of allocation of overhead costs which arose in the second half of the nineties of the twentieth century. Activity Based Costing (ABC) is a way of cost control based on looking at costs through activities that are performed in the organization. The following determining of their costs is done based on dividing them into various cost pools with differentiated cost drivers that do not have to be volume based. The thesis is apart from the theoretical study of the topic supplemented by a survey of prevalence of ABC in the Czech Republic and primarily by an analysis of an already created strategic ABC model which is used for studying a degree of compliance of theoretical foundations of the principle with actual methods used in creating the ABC model.

The aim is to explore whether the physical activity of boys and girls can be load by gender in preschool age. For collection of the data has been used a questionnaire survey. This thesis in the theoretical level deals with the issues of gender, movement and motor activity with focus to the preschool age and preschool education in the Czech Republic. In the practical part it looks into relationship of preschool children towards to physical activity and compares them by gender, it also examines whether the views of parents are loaded by gender stereotypes and verifies the family influence on the movement of children. : Title: Sport Policy and Sports Funding from Public Sources in Finland Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to describe how works sport culture in Finland. The thesis shows a high level of attention devote to sport and physical activities with focus on funding of the sport from public sources and lottery business (Veikkaus). The thesis provides knowledge and new information about sport culture in Finland. Methods: I have used methods of case studies and explanation, which allow me to analyze system of sport funding and sport organization in Finland. The methods were combined with secondary information to obtain furthur insight into the sport system in Finland. Results: A high level of sport policy and sports funding from public sources is proved in Finland. Satisfaction of Finns with sport conditions are documented in Eurobarometr survey. Public funding of sport in Finland is above average compere to other EU states. Due to lottery Veikkaus, state funding in to sport has long term increasing trend. Finnish sport culture highlights and characterizes providing precondition from municipalities and Finnish sport culture is driven by voluntary sector. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether the residents of family houses districts are satisfied with the current stage of built environment and usage of public spaces. Three focus districts were areas with family houses situated in the Prague metropolitan region (Hanspaulka, Starý Spořilov, Satalice) and eleven territorial public spaces were under examination. The research had three stages. Field mapping focused on the current stage of built environment of public spaces in focus districts. Structured observation, as the following stage, revealed the usage of those public spaces. Through the stage of semi-structured interviews, was answered the question about, how satisfied are the residents with the public spaces and if they have any changes or suggestions in order to improve those.

The thesis focuses on the topic of awareness of the secondary vocational school female students about suitable physical activities before and during the pregnancy and maternity period. The thesis is composed of theoretical and practical research part. The aim is to determine the level of the students' knowledge and general awareness of the possible physical activities during pregnancy and postpartum, to map their readiness for pregnancy and motherhood, and to increase their interest in a overall physical education. The theoretical part examines the physical activities in general, recommended exercises in pregnancy and postpartum. It describes all pregnancy stages, physiological changes of women during pregnancy and nursing, including appropriate and inappropriate workouts for all the stages. Last but not least,as the subject matter is not pregnant women but girls in a stormy hormonal development, it is necessary to mention the psychological aspects of adolescent girls. The research part is carried out by a school project in which the author discovers the level of students' knowledge about the given subject matter, applies the physical activities in practice and supplements it with explanation. Name: Motor skills of preschool children Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to determine the difference of motor skills of preschool children among children regularly attending free time courses focused on physical activities, led by experienced lecturers, and children in different kindergartens who do not attend these courses or rarely attend them. Methods: 67 children aged 4-6 years participated in the research. These were 9 children from the municipal kindergarten, 30 children from the village kindergarten and 28 children from the sports agency (club). Children were evaluated once by using the following tests: beep test, 4x5 m run, long jump, ball throw with right and left hand, sit and reach test. Results: The results confirm the assumption that children who participate in physical activity in their free time as well as in the kindergarten have better results than children who do physical education only in kindergarten. At the municipal nursery school, the children at the best level managed only the right- and left-hand throw. Statistically significant differences between groups occurred in the 4 x 5 m run, long jump and beep test, most often in favor of the sports agency.
