Optimizing Online Marketing Efficiency By Analyzing the Mutual Influence of Online Marketing Channels with Respect to Different Devices

Tesis por compendio / [ES] ¿Cómo es la atribución en un entorno de omnicanal? Se puede determinar una distinción importante en contraste con la atribución en un entorno multicanal. Además de proporcionar el proceso de análisis de marketing, una especificación del proceso estándar intersectorial para la minería de datos (CRISP¿DM), se utiliza un enfoque de método mixto secuencial para analizar la cuestión principal de la investigación. En el primer paso de esta investigación se analizan las características y los requisitos de atribución eficiente en un entorno omnicanal. A partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas con expertos y de un proceso de investigación bibliográfica holística estructurada, se identifica claramente la falta de un enfoque de atribución omnicanal. Los enfoques de atribución existentes se identifican mediante la realización de un proceso estructurado de revisión de la literatura. Estos enfoques identificados se evalúan aplicando los resultados de las entrevistas semiestructuradas con expertos, es decir, los requisitos y características de una atribución omnicanal eficiente. Ninguno de los enfoques de atribución identificados cumple con la mayoría de los requisitos de omnicanal analizados. Al tener la brecha de investigación ¿ la falta de un enfoque de atribución de omnicanales ¿ claramente identificada, se desarrolla un enfoque de atribución de omnicanales en la segunda parte de esta investigación presentada. Utilizando la metodología MAP, la principal laguna de investigación se llena proporcionando el Holistic Customer Journey (HCJ): una base de datos lista para el omni¿canal y un enfoque de atribución de omni¿canal correspondiente. Entre otras cosas, el enfoque de atribución desarrollado consiste en una clasificación de aprendizaje automático. Esta investigación presentada es la primera en utilizar información de casi 240.000.000 de conjuntos de datos de interacción, que contienen información entre dispositivos y entre plataformas. A major distinction can be determined in contrast to attribution in a multi¿channel environment. Besides providing the Marketing Analytics Process, a specification of the Cross¿industry standard process for data mining (CRISP¿DM), a sequential mixed method approach is utilized to analyze the main research question. Within the first step of this presented research characteristics, and requirements of efficient attribution in an omni¿channel environment are analyzed. Based on semi¿structured expert interviews and a holistic structured literature research process, the lack of an omni¿channel attribution approach is clearly identified. Existing attribution approaches are identified by conducting the structured literature review process. Those identified approaches are evaluated by applying the results of the semi¿structured expert interviews - the requirements and characteristics of efficient omni¿channel attribution. None of the identified attribution approaches fulfill a majority of the analyzed omni¿channel requirements. By having the research gap - the lack of an omni¿channel attribution approach - clearly identifed, an omni¿channel attribution approach is developed in the second part of this presented research. Utilizing the MAP methodology, the main research gap is filled by providing the Holistic Customer Journey (HCJ): an omni¿channel ready data foundation and a corresponding omni¿channel attribution approach. Among other things the developed attribution approach consists of a machine learning classification. This presented research is the first to utilize information from almost 240.000.000 interaction data sets, containing crossdevice and cross¿platform information. Factors influencing attributions to prejudice: harm, intent, and individual differences in the propensity to make attributions to prejudice

Given such ambiguity, whether or not prejudice is perceived by observers may be related to individual differences in the tendency to make attributions to prejudice. The present set of studies test the hypothesis that the beliefs and expectations related to a propensity to make attributions to prejudice are moderated by different information about harm and intent that have been shown in previous research to influence observers’ attributions of prejudice. Study 1 manipulated information about the harm caused by a White actor to a Black target (no harm, ambiguous harm, clear harm). Study 2 manipulated information about a White actor’s intent to racially discriminate against a Black target (no intent, ambiguous intent, clear intent). Across both studies, evidence supported the conclusion that attributions of prejudice are related to observers’ beliefs and expectations about racial prejudice when they are given ambiguous information about harm and intent. Understanding when differences in observers’ propensity to make attributions to prejudice might influence their attributions will contribute to our understanding of when expressions of prejudice are perceived, and more generally about how and when beliefs influence how individuals interpret their social world.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN INTERCULTURAL SENSITIZER FOR TRAINING NON-NAVAJO PERSONNEL.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Navajo Intercultural Sensitizer. It is an attempt to sensitize non-Navajo educational personnel who have come to work in the Navajo Nation to the attributional system of the Navajo culture. The assimilationist, culturally destructive educational policies of the past have been an objective failure. This effort attempts to build on the cultural strengths of Navajo people by promoting the acknowledgement, respect, and understanding of cultural differences. The method used is based on the identification of critical incidents that produce misunderstanding, confusion, or bad feelings between Anglo and Navajo people. The construction of the Navajo Intercultural Sensitizer involves four phases: episode generation, episode selection and construction, attribution elicitation, and attribution selection. Critical incidents (87) were gathered from Navajo students, teachers, and teachers' aides at two Reservation sites. Fifty-six of the incidents were selected by an eight person bilingual and bicultural panel of Navajos who were community and educational leaders. Attributions were elicited in response to the incidents and questions posed. An Anglo sample was drawn from students who were entering the fields of education, educational psychology, counseling, and clinical psychology. Attributions were elicited from them upon presentation of each episode and associated questions concerning the thoughts, feelings, or behavior of the Navajo participant in the incident. An empirical test, consisting of 56 incidents and the question associated with each episode, was administered to a sample of Navajos (n = 70) from two Reservation sites and the Anglo group (n = 56). Each question was followed by four choices. Forty-six of the incidents yielded significant (p < .05) differences in the attributions chosen by the two cultural groups in a chi-square test of significance. These incidents, plus two more, were used in the development of the Navajo Intercultural Sensitizer. The ICS is in a programmed instructional format. The learner is presented with the incident, the question and four plausible attributions. The task of the learner is to learn how the Navajos tended to attribute meaning to the incident.

O presente trabalho trata de investigar os conceitos responsabilidade e imputação em sua historicidade, isto é, sob o prisma genealógico da formação cultural do direito. O trabalho de pesquisa, assim, consiste em acompanhar, a partir de um várias perspectivas contemporâneas, a evolução das diversas significações destes conceitos, relacionando-os ao conceito de sujeito. Daí, deter-se em dois conceitos específicos que aparecem ao longo da pesquisa, trata-se de proceder a um trabalho de dissertação, o qual abarcará a investigação textual da inter-relação de tais conceitos sob o escopo crítico-genealógico do surgimento do direito. Do ponto de vista teórico, esperamos identificar a compreensão de direito, diante do processo formativo desempenhado pelas forças e instintos humanos. / The present work is to investigate the concepts of responsibility and attribution in its historicity, that is, through the prism of cultural formation of Law. The research, therefore, is to monitor, from a number of contemporary perspectives, the evolution of the various meanings of these \"concepts\", relating them to the concept of the subject. Then the claim to study two specific concepts that appear throughout the research. It is to make a discussion, which will cover the investigation of textual interrelation of these concepts within the scope critical-genealogical emergence of the right. Spontant organiserade frivilliga i samverkan : en studie om en spontanfrivillighetsinsats för att underlätta vid brandbekämpning i skogarna kring Kårböle och Färila i Ljusdals kommun sommaren 2018

Denna uppsats fokuserar på att undersöka en situation som inte hör till vardagen, hur spontanfrivilliga arbetat, agerat och knutit band med varandra vid en katastrofsituation. Att berätta deras historia och med sociologiska glasögon se på hur detta utvecklade sig. Det hela utspelar sig sommaren 2018 i skogarna utanför Färila i Ljusdals kommun i Gävleborgs län och handlar om en grupp människor, spontanfrivilliga, som tar egna initiativ och skapar en omfattande apparat med funktioner som ett mellanstort företag på bara några dagar, för att understödja brandmän och andra vid den näst största skogsbranden i Sverige i modern tid. Sociologen Robert D. Putnam (2006, ss. 121-122) skriver i sin bok Den ensamme bowlaren att ”det sociala kapitalet är knutet till nätverk av samhörighet – man arbetar tillsammans”. Putnam betonar vikten av närsamhället och dess roll när det kommer till det sociala engagemanget. Interaktionen mellan människor. Åtta respondenter har intervjuats, varav sex spontanfrivilliga, en brandvärnsman och en hemvärnsman. Dessa har fått berätta om sina upplevelser och hur de sett på det som hänt. Detta har resulterat i en narrativ analys av deras berättelser. Dessa har sedan analyserats med hjälp av teorier kring närsamhälle, attribution och interaktionsritualer. Den teoretiska delen avhandlar närsamhällets inverkan på det sociala engagemanget, attributionsteorins fokus på tolkning av varför någon gör som den gör och slutligen interaktionsritualer – de mikrohändelser som skapar emotionell energi. Resultatet visar på en samlad bild av hur resultatfokuserade, sammansvetsade och energiska alla de människorna var, som spontant ställde upp för att hjälpa till att bekämpa elden på det sätt de kunde, genom att vara behjälpliga i bakgrunden. Man kan, utifrån resultatanalysens konklusion, diskutera frågor som handlar om hembygd, känslor, gemenskap och nätverkande. Här ser vi kraften, viljan och energin i det som det gemensamma målet klarar av att åstadkomma.

A VIEW INTO RECIPROCITY: LITERATURE REVIEW, MEASUREMENT DESIGN, AND EXPERIMENT

The purpose of this paper is to discuss reciprocity and the role it plays in helping us understand interactions between parties in accounting settings. The concept of reciprocity states that individuals will reward kind behaviors and punish unkind behaviors. (Fisher et al. 2015; Fehr and Gächter 2000; Fehr and Gächter 1997). When trying to trace the origins of the theory of reciprocity, it is useful to track the initial constructs on which it is built from various literary sources. This process contributes to developing an understanding of how reciprocity is used to explain behaviors in the workplace. The notion of reciprocity has a long history and is defined in many iterations of social literature dating back to ancient philosophers. Roman politician Cicero, for example, stated: “there is no duty more indispensable than that of returning a kindness” and “all men distrust one forgetful of a benefit” (Gouldner 1960). This early philosophical sentiment exemplifies the integral role positive reciprocity plays in society and the potential avarice an individual may encounter when not returning positive actions with displays of positive reciprocity. Through this review, I gather literature that builds on the concept of reciprocity. I organize commonly found themes and organize settings previously used to focus on the multiple constructs to build upon reciprocity.

Den aktuella undersökningen genomfördes på en högskola i Mellansverige. Deltagarna fick besvara en enkät utformad i sex olika varianter där betingelserna beteende och person manipulerades. Den aktuella studien visade att fundamentala attributionsfelet till en viss del påverkas av relationer och typ av beteende. En person som utför ett positivt beteende skattas som vänligare och snällare än en person som utför ett negativt beteende. Likaså skattas en väns personlighet som vänligare än en ej omtyckt bekants och en främlings personlighet. Dessa resultat väcker intresset för ytterligare studier om hur relationer påverkar människans uppfattning om individen i andra situationer.</p></p>
