Kherbouche, Mohammed Oussama 02 December 2013 (has links) (PDF)

Silvestre, Franck 25 November 2015 (has links)
The significant growth in student numbers and changing learner profiles observed during the last two decades have shaken higher education. The need to adapt teaching strongly appeared. Face to face lectures for a large audience are a sustainable frame for research and implementation of new pedagogical practices. In this context, different studies show that the use of audience response system (ARS) is an efficient way to provide students with formative assessments during lectures and that they engage a large numbers of attendees. However, these systems do not integrate all dimensions of formative assessments, they do not take advantages of sharing text systems (STS) who appeared with Internet and therefore provide only limited types of interaction. Thus, our work addresses the following research questions : - how to enhance implementation of formative assessments in the context of face to face lectures adressed to a large number of students ? - how to maintain engagement of the majority of students in activities related to these formative assessments ? In order to answer these questions, we first propose a framework for the design of formative assessment systems to be used during face to face lectures addressed to a large audience. Thus, we introduce the concept of Audience Assessment and describe its related processes using a standard language. Then, in order to enhance implementation of formative assessments addressed to a large audience, we propose a new process called "N phases process" which introduces characteristic activities and strategies of formative assessments such as peer assessment or use of students as resources of instruction for others. This process supports also richer types of interaction such as answer given as free text entry or feedback provided as text. The second part of our work focuses on the design and the implementation of the audience assessment system called " Tsaap-Notes ". Tsaap-Notes combines the strengths of SVI and STS to implement the N phases process. A series of experimentations has been conducted on Tsaap-Notes showing good results on the capacity of the N phases process to engage the large majority of students.

No. of bitstreams: 1 122889.pdf: 5943684 bytes, checksum: c69c213c17e6c935616fba2db961c789 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-11-25 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This work is a case study that sought to identify a leverage point that could contribute to the officials responsible for internal control units of the Executive Branch of the State of Santa Catarina, in a short time, in an innovative way, respecting the limitations both the scope of the search as the structure available in each organ, and could provide greater security in carrying out their activities. So we opted for the path management processes via BPMN mapping - Business Process Modeling Notation and because of this is the current methodology employed by TCU - Federal Audit Court. To achieve the proposed objectives, the study identified responsibilities internal control laid by law, checked with those responsible for internal control which the most complex areas and made the area mappings indicated as leading cause of notes, the responsibilities of the internal control on a general level, and the initial phase of the bidding process on the basis of its materiality. After this, it is concluded that was demonstrated the feasibility of adopting this methodology to assist the driver in its monitoring activities, analysis, monitoring and guidance, since it is provided a systemic view of the process, its major milestones, phases, activities and actors.

Návrh změn vybraných procesů správy projektů ve společnosti / Suggestion of change to processes in the selected organization

Valdová, Kristýna January 2015 (has links)
The thesis is focused on analysis and change suggestions of selected processes in Local Action Group (LAG) Království -- Jestřebí hory, o.p.s. These processes follow projects realized in LAGs' region via specific subsidy program. Organizations' processes are based on established methods which were the base for studying and modelling processes in BPMN notation. In case of significant differences between the theory and real applied methods, there are suggested changes and there are appropriate representation in models. The other part of the thesis includes the suggestion of project office and the new diversification of responsibilities for selected processes among the workers. The asset of the thesis is the comparison of theory and real practical approach that is based on consultation in LAG. Models of processes are the main output that will LAG apply in the process of forming new strategic plan for the next period.

Notace modelování procesů a jejich užití / Process modeling notations and their utilization

Bartošová, Kateřina January 2014 (has links)
The companies can choose from a wide range of tools and methodologies for mapping their processes. The key point is to select the right ones to ensure they will match with the purpose of process mapping and the process models will be clear and easy to understand for the entire stakeholder spectrum. For process modeling we often use diagrams. We have notations that are very advanced, they can be very detailed and accurate. On the other hand we have those which are very simple and with only a few symbols they can capture basic ideas and attributes of the process. The aim of this thesis is to compare representatives from each group of notations and answer the question which notation is more suitable for different types of utilization of business process models. The representative of the advanced instruments is BPMN 2.0, which is compared with the basic flowcharts. The research is based on Delphi method.

Business process-based requirements specification and object-oriented conceptual modelling of information systems

de la Vara González, José Luis 05 September 2011 (has links)
Two of the main needs when developing an information system for an organization are that system analysts know and understand the application domain and that the system properly supports the business processes of the organization. Consequently, elicitation of system requirements from business process models has been acknowledged as a suitable activity to deal with that needs. In addition, system requirements must be linked to subsequent development stages. However, system analysts can face many challenges when performing these activities. They may have problems communicating with customer stakeholders and may need to analyse and operationalize the purpose of the information system. Furthermore, system analysts must bridge the gap between business and system domains for specification of system requirements, specify different types of system requirements and guarantee that their specification is precise, consistent and homogeneous. In relation to object-oriented conceptual modelling-based information system development, system analysts must also avoid potential problems that may arise when a conceptual schema is created from system requirements as part of their link with subsequent development stages. For example, a conceptual schema can be incomplete and/or inconsistent if it is not properly managed. As a solution, this thesis presents a methodological approach for business process-based requirements specification and object-oriented conceptual modelling of information systems. The approach consists of four stages: organizational modelling, purpose analysis, specification of system requirements and derivation of object-oriented diagrams. By following the design research methodology for performing research in information systems, the methodological approach has been designed on the basis of many existing ideas and principles in academia and industry and provides new principles, mechanisms and guidance to address the challenges presented above. / De La Vara González, JL.
