Zdravotní nezpůsobilost zaměstnance k výkonu práce a právní povaha lékařských posudků / Employee's Health Incapacity to Work and Legal Nature of Medical CertificatesSadílek, Martin January 2019 (has links)
Employee's Health Incapacity to Work and Legal Nature of Medical Certificates Abstract This thesis is named "Employee's Health Incapacity to Work and Legal Nature of Medical Certificates." Employee's health incapacity to work has significant consequences for the master-servant relationship and these consequences are visible in the areas of creation, modification and termination of the master-servant relationship. This incapacity can also have various causes and every cause can have different labour-law consequences. Employee's health incapacity can, however, be declared only by a medical certificate or by a decision of an administrative authority, which reviews the medical certificate. Only on the basis of the above mentioned medical certificate or decision of an administrative authority which reviews the medical certificate are the employer and employee entitled to actions predicted by legislation. In recent years, there has been a change in how medical certificates are viewed upon in terms of their legal nature. Today, medical certificates are not considered as legally binding, but only as a non-binding opinion. The objective of this thesis is to describe and analyse the legal regulation of medical certificates, with extra attention being paid to the legal nature of those certificates. The goal is also to...

Modelo de autenticaÃÃo e autorizaÃÃo baseado em certificados de atributos para controle de acesso de aplicaÃÃes em ambiente distribuÃdo utilizando redes de petri coloridas / Model of authentical and authorization based on certifyd of attributes for control of acess of applicationa in distributd environment using coloured petri netsMelissa Vieira Fernandes Villar 06 August 2007 (has links)
Due to increasing threats inherent to the information systems, the use of authentication and authorization mechanisms based in login and password does not enough to assure the information security. This work proposes a new model of authentication and authorization for distributed applications, based in hash and attributes certificates. Hash is used in the application authentication process, while certificates of attributes specify privileges and other authorization information. Its use is managed by the privilege management infrastructure (PMI). In this work, we describe the architecture and the functioning of the model, as well the processes of the attributes certificates generation, authentication and authorization of the application. The proposed model was specified in Coloured Petri Nets and validated by simulation.

Právní úprava regulace nakládání s exempláři CITES / Legal regulation of trade in CITES specimensKrejčová, Iveta January 2019 (has links)
Excessive usage of wildlife is the second most common cause of species decline on our planet, and thus one of the direct threats to biodiversity. Since biodiversity has a virtually existential significance for the well-being of people, it needs to be cared for in order to slow down its decline. The aim of this thesis is to analyze and evaluate legal regulations at the international, EU, and Czech level, to present the instruments and institutes used to regulate the trade in CITES specimens, and to propose solutions for potential problems. Where deemed necessary or appropriate, a comparison of international legal regulations with EU and Czech legislation is made. This thesis is divided into 6 chapters that are further internally subdivided into subchapters. The first chapter deals with the importance of trade in endangered species of fauna and flora in relation to the loss of biodiversity. The second chapter provides an overview of the legal regulation governing trade in endangered species at different levels (international, EU, and Czech). The third chapter introduces the individual bodies responsible for the implementation of the Convention CITES (or Regulation No. 338/97) at international, EU, and Czech level. The Czech national authorities are classified according to the Act no. 100/2004 by the...

Challenges faced by lectures in the implementation of National Certificate Vocational curriculum at Mopani South East FET CollegeMabale, Moshe Bedwin January 2013 (has links)
Thesis (M. Ed. (Educational Studies)) -- University of Limpopo, 2013 / This research was based on the challenges faced by lecturers in the implementation of the National Certificate Vocational (NCV) curriculum at Mopani South East FET College. The common idea was that the new NCV curriculum in South Africa was going to keep abreast of changes with the population. However, the implementation of the NCV curriculum was not as effective as expected. This was demonstrated by the fact that in 2007, numerous students in NCV Level 2, did not manage to progress to the next level. The through-put rate was low in almost all the programmes. Therefore, the researcher was led to believe that lecturers were finding it difficult to implement the new NCV curriculum.
In order to explore challenges faced by lecturers in the implementation of the NCV curriculum at Mopani South East FET, the researcher discussed different perspectives of and the rationale for curriculum change and implementation in different parts of the world including South Africa. The curriculum changes and implementation were discussed considering some of the countries, such as Romania, China, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United States of America (USA), Malawi, Mozambique and South Africa. Scholars have proven that for effective curriculum implementation, there are a number of ideas, which cannot be undermined, especially when there are curriculum changes. It referred to issues, such as the availability of curriculum plans, proper curriculum implementation management and leadership and continuous development of all the implementers. The aim of the study was to explore the challenges faced by lecturers in the implementation of the NCV curriculum at Mopani South East FET College.
There were three objectives to this study, Firstly, to establish obstacles, which hindered the implementation of the NCV curriculum, secondly, explore what the causes for these obstacles were, and thirdly, describe the extent, to which these obstacles affected the implementation of NCV curriculum.
The challenges faced by lecturers in the implementation of the NCV at Mopani South East FET College were investigated in order to achieve the stated objectives. The findings of this study provided conclusions and implications to NCV curriculum lecturers as well as policy makers; and added a body of knowledge in curriculum implementation.

A qualitative research method was used for the purpose of this study. Interviews and document analyses were used in order to gather information. The findings from this research project focused on four themes a) physical resources; b) student matters; c) staff matters and d) management matters.
After considering the findings and results from the interviews and documents analyses, the researcher was convinced that further research could be undertaken in line with the relevant lecturer qualifications, academic and staff development for the FET sector, articulation of the NCV curriculum by businesses, monitoring and evaluation of the NCV curriculum implementation by campus, college management, as well as relevant provincial and national officials.
In conclusion, the researcher believes that this study would play a very significant role to assist lecturers teaching or lecturing the NCV programmes, additionally, add to the body of knowledge in curriculum implementation and be of use to policy makers. Eventually, it will assist in bringing the desired expectations by Mopani South East FET College and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DoHET) to fruition.

Teacher Attitude and Self-Efficacy Differences Regarding English Language Learners and Disabled Learners.Carballo, Miriam 16 November 2018 (has links)
There has been little research combining both groups of students who were English Language Learners (ELLs) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students in relation to teacher attitudes and self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to compare teacher attitudes and self-efficacy related to instructing either ELLs with or without disabilities in elementary schools
Teachers from six elementary schools in the XYZ Excellence School District participated in a 52-item comprehensive survey. Two questionnaires and the demographic form were combined to create one comprehensive questionnaire totaling 52 questions for the purposes of this study. Teachers were solicited to participate in the study by email, which generated 92 responses for analysis.
The results of this study indicated there were no significant differences between the perceptions of individuals when instructing English Language Learners (ELLs) and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students. If people feel confident teaching ELLs, they probably feel confident teaching ESE. Equally, if they do not feel confident teaching ESE students, they are more than likely to not feel comfortable teaching ELLs. Thus, there were no significant differences between beliefs and attitudes in both groups. Still, data gathered from the regression analysis demonstrated training in ELL and ESE were strong indicators regardless of which other variables were added to teacher attitudes and self-efficacy when instructing ELLS or students with or without disabilities.
The results of this study also indicated teachers felt they needed additional training in special education and communication was the greatest barrier between teacher and students, since many teachers could not speak Spanish and students could not comprehend or speak English very well. The results also indicated some teachers felt resources available to them in teaching a lesson were a positive component for ELLs, with or without disabilities, to be able to grasp content.
The findings from this study could serve as positive change for reform of a multi-culturally and diverse climate in public schools. States, school districts, and on-site school administrators could support teachers by creating professional development programs in the learning of learning profiles, preferences, interests, and readiness proficiency levels are essential to multicultural diverse education. The states could also encourage these actions by restructuring certification policies recognizing multicultural diverse education.

The ACT year 12 certificate : a student based reviewBrocklebank, R. J., n/a January 1985 (has links)
The aim of this Field Study is to establish the
extent to which Year 12 students understand and appreciate
the ACT College System of senior secondary and the
information which appears on the ACT Year 12 Certificate.
In order to provide the reader with a basis for
understanding what happens over the final two years of
secondary education in the ACT the author has established
the historical context that gave rise to the establishment
of the Secondary Colleges in the ACT. This brief history
outlines the causes and reasons which led to separation
from the NSW state system of education and the decision
to develop a different approach to the provision of
education for students in Year 11 and 12.
To provide an idea of how the system works a description
of what makes up the College System is provided.
This includes an explanation of how the colleges relate
to the high schools, their curriculum, the accreditation
of courses, assessment and certification. The role of
the ACT Schools Accrediting Agency is explained in the
way it underpins the credibility of the system and of
how it carries the responsibility for the final generation
of the ACT Year 12 Certificate.
While this study looks at the system some seven
years after it began, earlier evaluations had taken place
which examined matters linked with the ACT Year 12
Certificate. In writing this report the author reviews
two important assessments of the system, one of the
role of the ACT Schools Accrediting Agency and the other
concerned with the success of the Colleges as educational
institutions from a student viewpoint. The author also
attempts to compare the changes which came with the ACT
College System with recent developments and current
thinking about senior secondary education in other Australian
states.
The major part of the Field Study was a survey of
a sample of Year 12 students at the end of 1983 to
establish the extent to which they understood the aspects
of the system they had been a part of for two years. The
data and findings of this survey are presented.
The report concludes with an outline of the most
recent changes, developments and reactions which in some
way affect the system. At the end of the conclusion,
the author presents a list of recommendations aimed at
overcoming some of the problems pin-pointed in the report.

A Certificate Based Authentication Control Model Using Smart Mobile Devices For Ubiquitous Computing EnvironmentsCavdar, Davut 01 September 2011 (has links) (PDF)
In this thesis work, a certificate based authentication model supported by mobile devices is provided for ubiquitous computing environments. The model primarily aims to create an infrastructure for controlling and regulating access requests through mobile devices to local resources and services. The model also allows users from different domains to use local resources and services within the scope of agreements between domains. In addition to conceptual description of the model, a real prototype implementation is developed and successful application of the model is demonstrated. Within the prototype implementation, a mobile application is developed for access requests and sensors are used as representative local resources. Sample cases applied on the prototype demonstrate applicability and feasibility of the model.
