ZDRAVÝ ŽIVOTNÍ STYL JAKO PREVENCE CIVILIZAČNÍCH CHOROB / HEALTHY LIFESTYLE AS A PREVENTION OF CIVILIZATION DISEASES

This thesis deals with problems of healthy lifestyle in connection with prevention of civilization diseases. In the theoretical part of this work there are briefly described the most significant aspects of lifestyle which have an influence on human health. Then there is here mentioned prevention and some of the most common civilization diseases. Healthy lifestyle presents set of routines and behavior that according to contemporary scientific knowledge supports our health. We can imagine it for example like a style where most of components, which it is consisted of, have positive orientation and where physical activity, rational nutrition, no-smoking, reasonable drinking of alcohol and good human relations are on the first place. The aim of this work is detection of a lifestyle and following comparison of the results in a group of women and men and comparison of a lifestyle of people living in a town and in the country. Experimental population was formed by people living in a district of Jindrichuv Hradec aged 41- 55. First hypothesis - Among men will be more often detected negative factor of smoking {--} was confirmed. In research I found out that in the surveyed sample of people living in a district of Jindrichuv Hradec there regularly smoke 37,1 % of men and 22,2 % of women, which corresponds with the results of the study of HELEN which was this hypothesis built on. Second hypothesis - women will evaluate their health like worse {--} wasn't confirmed. The question ascertaining a subjective feeling of health was supposed to verify whether the findings of the study of the health condition and lifestyle of the inhabitants in the Czech Republic. 43,6 % of women and 35,4 % of men valued their lifestyle in a positive way, 14,6 % of women and 29,1 % of men in a negative way. Third hypothesis {--} People living in a town will more often feel stress in comparison with people living in the country {--} was confirmed. To a question {\clqq}Do you suffer from stress?" 90,4 % of people living in a town and 77 % of people living in the country answered positively.

School project focused on sexually transmitted diseases ABSTRACT This Thesis forms two segments: theoretically oriented and practically oriented. Theoretical background doesn't only deal with development of project-based learning from history to the present but characteristics of project-based learning as such. There is an emphasis on positives at work but also cons that this innovative method brings, analysis of different types of project, important role of a student and a teacher and planning of the project itself. Second segment of theoretical part forms basic information about bacterial and viral diseases (chlamydia, gonorrhea, chancroid, syphilis, hepatitis B, genital herpes, AIDS, genital warts and cervical cancer). Practical part is dedicated to application of theory of project-based learning itself into practice. The result is a formation of a particular project called Sexually transmitted diseases, which is then completed on higher level of high school. Further there is thoroughly described project planning, realization and its evaluation. The administration of the medication is mostly performed by the process of inhalation. Therefore, a proper inhalation technique plays a crucial role in symptom reduction and achievement of adequate control over the disease. The aim of the thesis was partly to assess the level of inhalation technique in elderly patients in nursing home settings, partly to evaluate the knowledge of nurses and their role in advice provision related to the proper inhalation technique. Methods: The data were collected from June to September 2016 from 18 nursing homes located in South Wales (Great Britain). The study was realized in two arms. The evaluated group (first arm) was composed of patients (residents) with having asthma bronchiale or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease diagnosed and being older than 65 years. Monitoring výskytu chorob a škůdců v systémech péče o dřeviny v městském prostředí

This thesis deals with the issue of the incidence of diseases and pests of woody species growing in urban enviroment. The aim of the literary part is to acquaint the reader with the technical terminology, the division of noxious organisms into categories due to the magnitude of their impact, the description of single abiotic and anthropogenic factors, with the national and international law in the area of plant protection etc. The practical part is based on the results of authors Bachelor thesis. There were assessed about 7 200 trees, on which the presence of biotic factors was observed. The presence of noxious organisms was detected on 14 % of all trees. Almost 4 % of this organisms represented far more serious problems. In case of a functional type of greenery, the most problematic category was transport structure greenery and greenery with protective and insulating fiction. The research confirmed that the trees which are more weakened by abiotic factors are more often attacked by pathogens and pests damaging their leafs and needles. Based on the results, measures have been proposed to improve the current state of care management of public greenery. Also the methodology of assessement and evidence of diseases and pests incidence of woody species growing in the city was devised. This methodology should serve as a system instrument in the area of care about the public greenery.

Dostupnost zdravotně nezávadné vody v Nikaragui se zaměřením na rurální oblasti regionu Carazo

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of drinking water scarcity in Nicaragua, especially in the rural areas of the Carazo region. Theoretical part describes drinking water definition and the most common causes of problematic accessibility of drinking water including the impacts on local inhabitants. Recommended world water strategies for sustainable water management in developing countries are mentioned. The thesis defines contemporary infectious diseases (infectious diarrhea, viral hepatitis A, leptospirosis, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphi, cryptosporidiosis, and geohelminth infections) in Nicaragua, and the negative influence on its population's quality of live. Analytical part includes data such as accessibility of drinking water and sanitations. The data were accessed during the stay in Nicaragua, mainly in the Carazo region (62 communities, 8,000 households, 45,024 inhabitants), and also from databases and publications about the selected infectious diseases in Nicaragua. Infectious diarrhea, leptospirosis, and viral hepatitis A are the gravest infectious diseases for the local inhabitants (especially for children). Drinking water is absolutely accessible only in 40 (64.5 %) communities with the population of 36,446 (81.0 %) to all households. Sanitations are absolutely accessible only in 3 (4.8 %) with the population of 14,129 (31.4 %) to all households. This infrastructure does not create suitable conditions for these infectious diseases prevention.

Title: Lifestyle diseases prevention by adequate lifestyle, healthy diet and physical activities within the corporate culture Goal: Introduce a draft of corporate program for health care based on information acquired from written questionnaire and analysis of approach to health in the Czech Republic, and also based on materials from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics in Czech Republic. Methods: Primary quantitative data were chosen as a data source. Primary quantitative data were collected by written questionnaire. A primary set are employees of five selected companies. Secondary set are 100 respondents who demonstrate a representative sample. Information obtained from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics in Czech Republic are secondary data which were collected within a nationwide statistics. Results: Particular questions from written questionnaire were processed and obtained results are presented in pie charts. Secondary data are processed and presented by scripts, charts and tables.
