O presente estudo tem por objeto a formação do mercado de trabalho na cidade de Rio Claro - SP entre os anos de 1841 e 1895. Através de documentos como os processos criminais, as ações de liberdade, a imprensa, os relatórios governamentais, entre outros, empreendeu-se um estudo sobre o processo de passagem da escravidão ao trabalho livre, além do processo de modernização das instituições na cidade de Rio Claro durante a segunda metade do século XIX. Buscou-se compreender como indivíduos recém egressos do cativeiro, ou ainda em cativeiro, criaram estratégias próprias de sobrevivência tendo como pilar as experiências trazidas do período em que viveram sob o jugo do escravismo. Procurou-se, também, mostrar que a gênese de um mercado de trabalho em Rio Claro deu-se através de um emaranhado de contradições que envolveram práticas sociais concretas dando especial enfoque às relações entre escravos, libertos e imigrantes, não apenas no interior do grupo social que pertenciam, mas também, suas relações com outros indivíduos que gravitavam pela paisagem social à época. Nesse sentido, procurou-se historicizar, através das ações de indivíduos pertencentes aos grupos subalternos, a luta em um território estranho e a construção de uma rede de relações sociais mergulhados em solidariedades e conflitos étnicos em uma sociedade onde, indivíduos não pertencentes aos grupos dominantes encontravam dificuldades para inserção. / This study aims at the formation of the labor market in the city of Rio Claro-SP between the years 1841 and 1895. In this sense, we tried to historicize, through the actions of individuals belonging to subordinate groups, the fight in a strange land and the construction of a network of social relationships immersed in solidarity and ethnic conflicts in a society where, outside the mainstream groups individuals found it difficult to insert.

A cidade é condição e local dos acontecimentos sociais e, portanto, não há crime ou violência que não esteja circunscrito num tempo e território. Os geógrafos da violência circunscreveram seus estudos, basicamente, nas dinâmicas espaciais relacionadas com a pobreza, o desemprego e as segregações sócio-espaciais. São estudos que analisados de forma isolada são insuficientes para, geograficamente, conceituar e verificar se um espaço urbano é violento. A relação espaço urbano com a violência e a criminalidade perpassa por interdisciplinaridade de saberes e, considerando que o conhecimento é processo dinâmico, foi adotado os aportes teóricos do pensamento de Walter Benjamin como catalisador para elaborar uma critica científica da barbárie contemporânea que acontece no cotidiano urbano. A releitura do pensamento benjaminiano, com seu método de montagem de recortes temporais e espaciais, permitiu releituras e reflexões dialéticas do espaço urbano rio-clarense e da sua violência urbana, cujo resultado foi revelar as suas fisiognomias e as fantasmagorias. O perambular pelos locais do crime pode apontar indícios ou elementos geográficos e históricos que os relacionem ao espaço/tempo, suas dinâmicas e redes (sociais, econômicas, políticas, etc.). O flanar pela cidade de Rio Claro contribuiu também para evidenciar que o poder/violência, nas suas formas multidimensionais, na concepção benjaminana, é necessário para instituir/manter a (des)organização do espaço urbano, geralmente, adotando um urbanismo militar que prioriza a exclusão socioambiental. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: Thinking and planning the Brazilian public security require critical reflections passing by scientific contributions of the geography, specially the urban space. The city is condition and place of social events and, therefore, there is not crime or violence that is not circumscribed in one time and territory. Geographers of the violence have supported their studies, basically, in the spatial dynamics related to poverty, unemployment and the socio-spatial segregations. They are studies, which analyzed in isolation, are insufficient to geographically conceptualize and verify wheather an urban space is violent. The urban space relationship with urban violence and with criminality pervades by the interdisciplinarity of knowledge, and since knowledge is a dynamic process, it were adopted the theoretical contributions of Walter Benjamin's thought as catalyst to elaborate a scientific critique of contemporary barbarism that happens in everyday urban life. The rereading of Benjaminian's thought, with his method of mounting cutouts temporal and spatial, permitted rereading and dialectical reflections of urban space of Rio Claro city and of its urban violence, which the result was to reveal their fisiognomias and phantasmagoria. The prowl by places of the crime may point geographical and historical indicia or elements that relate them to space / time, their dynamics and networks (social, economic, political, etc.). Trata-se de um estudo sobre a incorporação do futebol na cidade de Rio Claro, com destaque para a emergência do Rio Claro Futebol Clube, apresentando sua relação com o avanço dos trilhos da Companhia Paulista de Estradas de Ferro e a instalação das oficinas ferroviárias. A ideia é analisar o desenvolvimento da agremiação, ou seja, de 1909, ano de sua fundação, até 1948, momento em que adere ao profissionalismo. Discutiremos os contornos históricos que balizam o surgimento do clube, o processo de disseminação do futebol através das linhas férreas, a dependência do Rio Claro F. C. em relação aos auxílios concedidos pela direção da Companhia Paulista, a inserção gradativa dos comerciantes e filhos de imigrantes italianos na rotina da agremiação e o enfraquecimento do paternalismo da empesa ferroviária. Importante lembrar que o desenvolvimento econômico no Oeste Paulista a partir da cafeicultura e a consequente chegada dos trens estimularam o processo de urbanização, criando as bases para o contato com novos costumes e práticas, e propiciando a formação dos espaços de sociabilização, como os clubes de futebol / This is a study on the incorporation of soccer in the city of Rio Claro, highlighting the emergence of Rio Claro Football Club, showing its relationship to the advancement of rails Companhia Paulista Railways and the installation of the railway workshops. The idea is to analyze the development of the club, from 1909, the year of its founding, until 1948, when adheres to professionalism. We will discuss the historical contours that mark the emergence of the club, the process of dissemination of soccer through the railway lines, the dependence of Rio Claro F. C. on the aid granted by the Companhia Paulista management, the gradual insertion of merchants and children of Italian immigrants into the routine of the club and the weakening of the paternalism of the railway company. Important to remember that economic development in the West Paulista from the coffee and the consequent arrival of trains stimulated the process of urbanization, creating the basis for contact with new customs and practices, and promoting the formation of the socialization spaces, such as soccer clubs

No. of bitstreams: 1 MARCIO CANDIDO DA COSTA.pdf: 5607830 bytes, checksum: c8c43148342a24b1c2c806f36f7baf80 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2006-07-07 / In order to characterize the fish fauna of the Claro river sub-basin as well as to establish a distributional pattern based on the hypothesis of the ichtyofaunistic differentiation promoted by the segmentation of the river by possible natural barriers, six stretches along this river and the confluence of its main tributaries were sampled in December 2005 (rainy season). The collecting sites were chosen on the basis of the presence of waterfalls or rapids along the river. There were 372 specimens collected distributed in 4 orders, 15 families, 5 subfamilies, 32 genera, and 48 species. The animals were collected with the use of nets with mashes varying from 12 and 90 mm between knots, coop with funneled entrances and throw nets. The primary data were correlated with available data of the same nature from other localities within the Paranaíba river basin, upper Paraná hydrographic region. The indexes of constancy, dominance, abundance, richness, similarity, and diversity of species were considered, besides the curve of rarefaction of species analysis and detrended correspondence analysis (DCA). Generally the data supports a differentiation among stretches, which suggests a correlation with the rapids that establish a negative gradient of species upstream of Claro river. The higher indexes were attributed to Point 2, where there are tributaries of several categories therefore the importance of the management and preservation of these environments. / No intuito de caracterizar a ictiofauna presente na sub-bacia do rio Claro, bem como estabelecer um padrão de distribuição, baseado na hipótese da existência de diferenciação ictiofaunística promovida pela segmentação do curso do rio, em função de possíveis barreiras naturais, foram amostrados seis trechos distribuídos ao longo desse rio e nos pontos de confluência com alguns de seus principais afluentes, em dezembro de 2005 (estação chuvosa). Os trechos foram demarcados com base na presença de cachoeiras ou quedas d água, no sentido jusante-montante do rio. Foram coletados 372 espécimes, distribuídos em 4 ordens, 15 famílias, 5 subfamílias, 32 gêneros e 48 espécies. Os animais foram coletados com o uso de redes de espera, com malhas variando entre 12 e 90 mm entre nós, gaiolas tipo covo e tarrafas. Os dados primários foram correlacionados com os dados disponíveis, da mesma natureza, para outras localidades contidas na bacia do rio Paranaíba, região hidrográfica do alto Paraná. Foram considerados os índices de constância, dominância, abundância, riqueza, similaridade e diversidade de espécies, além de análise da curva de rarefação de espécies e análise de correspondência (DCA). De maneira geral, os dados apontam para uma diferenciação entre os trechos, correlacionada com a presença das quedas d água, as quais estabelecem um gradiente negativo de espécies no sentido jusantemontante do rio Claro. Os maiores índices foram atribuídos ao Trecho 2, onde existe a presença de tributários de diversas categorias, daí a importância da manutenção e preservação desses ambientes.

Esta dissertação tem por objetivo estudar como os poemas de Claro Enigma de Carlos Drummond de Andrade se articulam e como tal articulação os modifica e os constitui como livro. Para tanto, analisa-se a nota introdutória da antologia que Drummond compôs com seus próprios poemas, na qual ele expõe e explica seus critérios de organização, usando o adjetivo vertebrado para qualificá-la; em seguida, passa-se à leitura das seis seções do livro, buscando-se identificar as maneiras como elas estão construídas e como isso afeta suas composições; aponta-se, então, o uso de algumas imagens repetidas em diferentes poemas, rearticulando as seções e o conjunto; e, por fim, examina-se as diversas edições do Claro Enigma / This dissertation seeks to study how the poems of Claro Enigma, by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, are integrated and how this integration changes them and makes a book out of them. In order to do so, it is analyzed the introductory note of the anthology that the poet has made of his own compositions, in which he exposes and explains the criteria used by him in this task. In this note he also has characterized this anthology as a vertebrated one. Afterwards, the six sections of Claro Enigma are examined; with the purpose of identify the ways by which they are built and how this affects their poems. After that it is studied the use of some images in more than one poem and how they remodel the sections and the whole. Lastly, there is a study of the different editions of Claro Enigma

We focus on black spaces of sociability of Rio Claro, giving special attention to the identitary processes that shaped this sociability, and also to the demands that black actors addressed to the local government as part of the struggle for their own spaces of race in a white majority context, we emphasize, deeply marked both by open racism against blacks and by the impermeability of the local political system to blacks in general. It was in this context that the local black movement developed, over the course of decades, the basis for its collective mobilization for the long-desired house of its own a house that was materialized in its two social headquarters, finally built at the end of the 1960s. This research was supported by FAPESP (São Paulo State Research Fundation, Brazil, regular doctoral scholarship) and by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, Brazil, for foreign doctoral studies). / Em Organizações e Espaços da Raça no Oeste Paulista: Movimento Negro e Poder Local em Rio Claro (dos anos 1930 aos anos 1960) buscamos compreender o perfil e o formato do movimento negro rioclarense, e como esse movimento se relacionou com o poder local em suas reivindicações específicas de raça. Focalizamos os espaços de sociabilidade negra de Rio Claro, dirigindo especial atenção aos processos identitários que moldaram tal sociabilidade, e às demandas que os atores negros endereçaram ao poder local na busca por espaços próprios da raça ressalte-se, num contexto de ampla maioria branca, profundamente marcado tanto pelo racismo anti-negro a céu aberto, quanto pela impermeabilidade do sistema político local a negros em geral. Foi nesse contexto que o movimento negro local construiu, durante décadas, as bases de sua mobilização coletiva pela tão sonhada casa própria casa esta personificada por suas sedes sociais, finalmente erguidas em fins dos anos 1960. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo caracterizar a morfometria e o grau de trofia do reservatório da Floresta Estadual “Edmundo Navarro de Andrade” (FEENA), assim como estimar a variabilidade horizontal das variáveis físicas, químicas e biológicas (clorofila-a) na coluna d’água durante um período sazonal e nictemeral. Este estudo apresenta a primeira carta batimétrica do reservatório da FEENA. Os mapas batimétricos e de dispersão horizontal das variáveis estudadas foram gerados utilizando a Geoestatística como ferramenta no tratamento dos dados. Os resultados do levantamento batimétrico demonstraram que o reservatório encontra-se muito raso, principalmente em seu compartimento norte, próximo ao tributário. A profundidade média do reservatório é de 0,86 m e a máxima de 2,16 m. Devido à profundidade reduzida detectou-se grande variabilidade nos padrões de estratificação térmica da coluna d’água durante o monitoramento sazonal e nictemeral. Desta forma, o reservatório foi classificado como polimítico. Os estudos geoestatísticos subsidiaram as análises de caracterização morfométrica e a estimativa da variabilidade horizontal das variáveis no reservatório. O emprego da krigagem ordinária, com o recurso da estimativa de uma medida de dispersão, como o desvio padrão da krigagem, foi de significativa importância para a consistência deste trabalho. Por meio de uma análise comparativa entre os mapas de dispersão horizontal das variáveis clorofila-a, nitrogênio total e fósforo total gerados pela krigagem ordinária, foi possível observar que os níveis mais elevados concentraram-se na região intermediária e próxima ao vertedouro do reservatório, e os menores índices próximo ao tributário. Observa-se, ainda, que os valores de... / The morphometric characteristics have significant effects on almost all physical, chemical and biological characteristics of a lake or reservoir. Accordingly, this study aimed to characterize the morphometry and trophic state of the reservoir State Forest Edmundo Navarro de Andrade (FEENA), as well as estimate the horizontal variability of physical, chemical and biological (chlorophyll a) in the column water during a seasonal and diurnal period. This study presents the first bathymetric chart of the FEENA reservoir. The bathymetric and variables dispersion maps were generated using geostatistics as a tool in data processing. Bathymetric survey results showed that the reservoir is silted up very especially in its sector north nears the tributary. The average depth of the reservoir is 0,86 m and the max depth is 2,16 m. Due to the reduced depth was detected high thermal variability of the water column during the diurnal and seasonal monitoring. Thus, the reservoir was ranked as polymitic. Geostatistical studies subsidized the analysis of morphometric characterization and estimation of the horizontal variability of the variables in the reservoir. The use of ordinary kriging, with the resource of estimating a measure of dispersion as the standard deviation of kriging, was of significant importance for the consistency of this work. Through a comparative analysis between the horizontal dispersion maps variable chlorophyll-a, total nitrogen and total phosphorus generated by ordinary kriging, it is observed that the highest levels concentrated in the intermediate region and near the spillway of the reservoir, and lower rates in the proximal portion to the tributary. Was observed also that the values of chlorophyll-a showed a higher correlation with total nitrogen seasonality of the environment in comparison with the total phosphorus. A FEENA é uma Unidade de Conservação e tem sua maior parte contida na área do município de Rio Claro. A cidade de Rio Claro está localizada no Centro-Leste do Estado de São Paulo, entre as coordenadas 22°05’ de Latitude Sul e 47°55’ de Longitude Oeste de Greenwich. Na análise, foram utilizadas imagens do sensor TM Landsat 5 de 1985 a 2011 e dados de temperatura e pluviosidade no mesmo período nessa região. A análise levou em consideração medidas da Estatística Descritiva de tendência central e de dispersão do NDVI e das variáveis meteorológicas, além de curvas de tendência e correlação. Foram utilizados, como ferramentas, Sistemas de Informações Geográficas (SIG), e planilhas eletrônicas. As médias da série temporal do NDVI da FEENA apresentaram amplitude total 0,05 e média geral 0,67. Esses valores indicam que a Floresta manteve nesse período alta densidade e alta intensidade da atividade fotossintética de sua vegetação. Em função disso, pode-se sugerir que ocorreu variação positiva do sequestro de carbono da atmosfera na região. Nesse período a temperatura e a pluviosidade apresentaram comportamento similar em todos os anos. No entanto, não há correlação linear entre a temperatura e o NDVI, tão pouco entre a pluviosidade e o NDVI da FEENA / This research presents a qualitative analysis of the density and intensity of vegetation photosynthetic activity with possible consequences on carbon flux in the region of the State Forest Edmundo Navarro de Andrade (FEENA), through the variation of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). Most of the FEENA, which is a Conservation Until, is located in the area of the municipality of Rio Claro. The city of Rio Claro is located in the Center-East of the State of São Paulo, between the coordinates 22° 05 ' South Latitude and 47° 55 ' Longitude West of Greenwich. In the analysis, images from Landsat 5 TM sensor from 1985 to 2011 and temperature and pluviosity data for the same period in this region were used. The analysis took into account Descriptive Statistics measures of central tendency and dispersion of NDVI and weather variables, besides correlation and trend curves. Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and spreadsheets were used as tools. The average of time series NDVI of FEENA showed full range 0.05 and overall average 0.67. These values indicate that high density and high intensity of photosynthetic activity of forest vegetation were stable during this period. Because of this, it can be suggested that increase of carbon sequestration from the atmosphere in the region occurred. In this period, temperature and pluviosity showed similar behavior presenting yearly. However, there is no linear correlation between the temperature and the NDVI and none between the pluviosity and NDVI of the FEENA

A relação espaço urbano com a violência e a criminalidade perpassa por interdisciplinaridade de saberes e, considerando que o conhecimento é processo dinâmico, foi adotado os aportes teóricos do pensamento de Walter Benjamin como catalisador para elaborar uma critica científica da barbárie contemporânea que acontece no cotidiano urbano. A releitura do pensamento benjaminiano, com seu método de montagem de recortes temporais e espaciais, permitiu releituras e reflexões dialéticas do espaço urbano rio-clarense e da sua violência urbana, cujo resultado foi revelar as suas fisiognomias e as fantasmagorias. O perambular pelos locais do crime pode apontar indícios ou elementos geográficos e históricos que os relacionem ao espaço/tempo, suas dinâmicas e redes (sociais, econômicas, políticas, etc.). O flanar pela cidade de Rio Claro contribuiu também para evidenciar que o poder/violência, nas suas formas multidimensionais, na concepção benjaminana, é necessário para instituir/manter a (des)organização do espaço urbano, geralmente, adotando um urbanismo militar que prioriza a exclusão socioambiental. Neste contexto, sistematizamos aportes teóricos geográficos que, no processo do conhecimento, sirvam... / Thinking and planning the Brazilian public security require critical reflections passing by scientific contributions of the geography, specially the urban space. The city is condition and place of social events and, therefore, there is not crime or violence that is not circumscribed in one time and territory. Geographers of the violence have supported their studies, basically, in the spatial dynamics related to poverty, unemployment and the socio-spatial segregations. They are studies, which analyzed in isolation, are insufficient to geographically conceptualize and verify wheather an urban space is violent. The urban space relationship with urban violence and with criminality pervades by the interdisciplinarity of knowledge, and since knowledge is a dynamic process, it were adopted the theoretical contributions of Walter Benjamin's thought as catalyst to elaborate a scientific critique of contemporary barbarism that happens in everyday urban life. The rereading of Benjaminian's thought, with his method of mounting cutouts temporal and spatial, permitted rereading and dialectical reflections of urban space of Rio Claro city and of its urban violence, which the result was to reveal their fisiognomias and phantasmagoria. The prowl by places of the crime may point geographical and historical indicia or elements that relate them to space / time, their dynamics and networks (social, economic, political, etc.). The stroll through the Rio Claro city contributed also to show that the power/violence in its multidimensional forms, in benjaminian's conception, it is necessary to institute/ maintain the (un) organization of urban space generally adopting a military urbanism that prioritizes socioenvironmental exclusion.
