Šio darbo tikslas sukurti mokinių pavėžėjimo informacinę sistemą Kretingos rajono savivaldybės švietimo skyriui. Įgyvendinant projektą buvo siekiamą, kad sistema veiktų sparčiai ir stabiliai. Sistemoje turėjo būti realizuotas užsakovo pageidautas funkcionalumas. Taip pat buvo siekiama sukurti kuo paprastesnę, tačiau funkcionalią vartotojo sąsają. / This work is a student ride information system for Kretinga district education department. The project was designed to make the system work fast and stable. The system had to be realized in the customer expressed requirements for functionality. It was also aimed to create both simple and functional user interface.

<p>Syftet med den här rapporten är att undersöka ifall PHP-ramverket CodeIgniter är ett lämpligt val för konstruktion av mindre webbplatser. För att besvara frågeställningen har jag konstruerat en webbplats i CodeIgniter åt företaget Östra hundskolan. Utifrån de erfarenheter jag fått när jag arbetat i CodeIgniter för jag ett resonemang kring fördelar och nackdelar jämfört med andra webbtekniker som mer traditionell webbprogrammering, CMS och andra PHP-ramverk.</p><p>För att konstruera Östra hundskolans webbplats har jag tillsammans med deras ägare tagit fram en kravspecifikation som redogör för de funktioner och krav som finns. Utifrån kravspecifikationen har jag skapat en designspecifikation som sedan ligger som grund för implementeringen av webbplatsen. Webbplatsen är implementerad i CodeIgniter där många av dess inbyggda hjälpbibliotek har legat som underlag för webbplatsens funktioner.</p><p>De slutsatser jag dragit efter att ha jobbat med CodeIgniter är att valet av verktyg måste anpassas utifrån många olika parametrar, exempelvis hur lång är projektettiden, vilka funktioner ska webbplatsen uppfylla, finns programmeringskunskaper, finns det ett krav på enkelt underhåll etcetera. Har utvecklaren programmeringskunskaper och det finns tid att sätta sig in i ramverket samtidigt som webbplatsen inte har några större krav på enkelt underhåll med mera är CodeIgniter ett väldigt lämpligt val att konstruera webbplatsen i. Ställs det däremot större krav på att webbplatsen ska vara lätt att underhålla och den har klara tydliga funktioner som exempelvis ett forum skulle jag nog fundera på att använda ett CMS. Detta på grund av att det är lättare att underhålla samt att det kan vara optimerat för en tyngre belastning.</p>

This thesis has been performed at the system development company Verendus System AB, together with the home care company Basic Care Unit (BCU). The thesis has consisted of developing a web based informationsystem for BCU in which they can administrate their business. At the time of writing this thesis, BCU was using a windows-application to administrate their activities, which was both costly aswell as resulting in an unnecessary burden. The aim the thesis has thus been to create a platform-independent information system that simplifies and streamlines BCUs work by being user-friendly aswell as imposing some simplifying features. The students has been developing the system by the help of a work method they themselves developed. The method consisted of working in several iterations that each had several milestones. The method resulted in the students knowing easily when each iteration was finished or not. The thesis resulted in a working platform independent prototype. The prototype was developed in the PHP-framework CodeIgniter together with HTML5 and CSS3. Examples of functions included is being able to administrate BCU’s patients and employees, aswell as being able to plan the employees workdays with one click.

Detta examensarbete kommer att behandla hur man kan skapa en webbplats med tillhörande spel med hjälp av PHP-ramverket CodeIgniter. Rapporten tar upp hur detta ramverk fungerar och hur applikationer i ramverket kan göras säkra. Läsaren kommer att få veta mer om vilka HTML-standarder man kan använda för webbplatser och om den programmeringsmetod, MVC-principen, som CodeIgniter använder sig av. The report explains how this framework works and how you can make secure applications by using the framework. The reader will also get to know more about the HTML-standards possible to use for web sites and about the programming method, the MVC-principle, CodeIgniter is using. Svarstider är något som har en stor betydelse och påverkar användare av webbapplikationer. Ramverk baserade på MVC används vanligen vid webbutveckling på grund av att de löser olika problem som återanvändning av kod och underlättar utvecklingen. Vissa webbapplikationer exekveras helt från serversidan och frågan är om olika ramverk, i synnerhet lättviktiga sådana, påverkar svarstiden på serversidan? Genom att utveckla två funktionsekvivalenta webbapplikationer med ett lättviktigt och ett icke lättviktigt ramverk kommer det gå att genomföra ett tekniskt inriktat experiment som ämnar att utföra en rad olika mätningar, framför allt vid hämtning och visning av data, för att analysera svarstiden i dessa scenarion. De resultat som uppnåtts talar för att lättviktiga ramverk ger upphov till lägre svarstider i den tillämpning som undersökts, och det kan i framtiden vara intressant att undersöka mer funktionalitet inom ramverken och se om lättviktiga ramverk i webbapplikationer som körs på klientsidan genererar samma resultat.

This report is going to be focusing on the development of a promotion page and login system for the web production company Adoreyou. The promotion page and login will be parts of a new taxi application for iPhone that lets the customer book a taxi and drivers manage the requests from the customers. Taxi application’s that let customer’s book trips are nothing new but they are constantly being explored and developed. The most common practice is to let the customer fill in from what address he or she wants to be picked up and to where he or she wants to be taken. Then the price is set in the application depending on the distance and most likely other factors like weekday and time. Some of them do not have functionalities such as being able to choose which type of car you want to order or managing payments from the app itself. This taxi app will be developed to take it to the next level and utilize GPS to locate cars close to the customers. The promotion page will be constructed in HTML and CSS. The login system will be constructed in the PHP framework Codeigniter and connected to Parse.com through an API. The project has been using the so called waterfall model to develop the promotion page and the login system. The model has been used throughout the project and each stage was been checked with the project manager on Adoreyou before the next stage was initialized.

The project aims to develop a web-based interface for managing an advertisingsystem, development of a mobile application, more specifically an Android application,whose main task is to present advertising. The Android application issupposed to run on an Android device which is connected to a TV or monitorfor viewing slides, consisting of the advertises. The web interface is developedin PHP, HTML, and CSS while the Android application is developed in a Javabasedlanguage. The project aims to develop an easy to use and cost effectivealternative to the existing systems available in the market today. The project isdeveloped as a "proof of concept" and is delimited to the creation of an Androidapplication with features to launch the application automatically, set up the device, and viewing slideshows with advertises. The web-based system is delimitedto manage business/customers , users, devices , slides , and slides. The projectalso focused on security, primarily in the form of licenses (number of units)and unauthorized access to other customers. The objectives of the project areconsidered to be fulfilled in that a functioning Android application has been developed,as well as a completion of the web-based interface with previouslysaid features.
