Previous issue date: 2012-02-16 / Leadership is a topic that has been frequently underlined on behalf of organizations and researchers on the organizational behavior, been largely discussed, studied, researched and exposed to the most varied theories. It is a process that involves the relationship between a leader and a group, marked by countless context possibilities and evaluation, though still little explored empirically. Given this gap and the absence of consent towards its definition, the objective of this work was to investigate the construction of leadership and ascertain how its definition and appreciation alters on behalf of the context. For this, 21 participants belonging to three different context (organizational, social and educational), answered a questionnaire elaborated by the author. Their answers were examined qualitatively by contents analysis, which consisted in the elaboration, by the author, of main categories, subsequently evaluated by independent judges. The results point towards more difference than similarities in the answers provided by the participants of the investigated contexts, in a way that the phenomenon?s definitions, as well as the characteristics that influence the exercise of leadership in a positive and in negative way, showed variation, within the group as well as in intergroup. It is expected that the results of this study may help the investigations about leadership, in a way that other studies are necessaries for a consensus about the concept definition may be, ever more, close to be achieved and, in a way that the results obtained by such researches may contribute to the scientific investigation of leadership / A lideran?a ? uma tem?tica que tem recebido bastante destaque por parte das organiza??es e dos pesquisadores na ?rea do comportamento organizacional, sendo largamente discutida, estudada, pesquisada e exposta ?s mais diversas teorias. ? um processo que envolve a rela??o entre um l?der e um grupo, marcada por in?meras possibilidades de contexto e avalia??o, embora ainda pouco explorada empiricamente. Dada essa lacuna e a aus?ncia de consenso em rela??o ? sua defini??o, o objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar a constru??o da lideran?a e averiguar como sua defini??o e valoriza??o se altera em fun??o do contexto. Para isso, 21 participantes que pertencem a tr?s diferentes contextos (empresarial, social e educacional), responderam a um question?rio elaborado pela autora. Suas respostas foram examinadas qualitativamente por meio da an?lise de conte?do, a qual consistiu na elabora??o, pela pesquisadora, de categorias principais, posteriormente validadas por ju?zes independentes. Os resultados apontaram mais diferen?as do que semelhan?as nas respostas fornecidas pelos participantes dos contextos investigados, de forma que as defini??es do fen?meno, assim como as caracter?sticas que influenciariam positivamente e negativamente o exerc?cio da lideran?a, apresentaram varia??o, tanto intragrupo quanto intergrupo. Espera-se que os resultados do presente estudo possam auxiliar as investiga??es sobre lideran?a, de forma que outros estudos se fazem necess?rios para que um consenso em rela??o ? defini??o do conceito possa estar, cada vez mais, pr?xima de ser alcan?ada e, de forma que os resultados obtidos por tais pesquisas possam contribuir para a investiga??o cientifica da lideran?a.

The Diploma Thesis "Teplitz-Schönauer Anzeiger in the 1920s and 1930s" explores the German-written journal which was published in Teplice-Šanov from 1861 to 1945. Firstly the years 1918 and 1938 are briefly described as they were crucial for history of the first independent Czechoslovak state; conditions for press printing during the period of the First Czechoslovak Republic are also depicted. Subsequently the modern history of the town of Teplice-Šanov is introduced, as well as cultural environment of the place. Last but not least the media landscape which the journal entered in 1861 is described. The main part of the Thesis aims at historical development of both journal and C.Weigend Printing Company from the beginning until its transfer under national control and subsequent end of publication in 1948. Each publisher of the newspaper is introduced: first of all the founder of the journal August Copek. Then the attention is paid to four generations of publishers from Weigend family. A sample of articles from years 1918, 1928 and 1938 serves as a source which shows the structure of the journal. Analýza obsahu týdeníku 5+2 dny v letech 2012-2013 / Analysis of the contents of the weekly magazine 5+2 days between 2012 and 2013Hradiský, Jakub January 2016 (has links)
Abastract The thesis called Analysis of The 5+2 Days Weekly Magazine between 2012 and 2013 in its empiric part looks into the contents structure, its preferred topics and ratios of stories and cases from the defined parametres point of view throughout the period beginning the foundation of the magazine to the parliamentary elections held in October 2013. The analysis deals with the issue of presentation of the Agrofert holding as the magazine is its part and Andrej Babiš from his position of an owner and chairman of a political movement ANO he led to the snap parliamentary elections in 2013. The analysis examines if the fact that its owner is an enterpreneur, owner of one of the bigest Czech companies and a high-ranking politician has any impact on the contents of the magazine. The method used to analyse the contents is quantitative contents analysis. In its theoretical part the paper deals with basic social roles and functions of the media, concepts of free speech and independence of the media. This part of the thesis sees these concepts mainly from the ownership of the media point of view and the ownership's impact on their contents and function. The theoretical part also presents a review of the Czech media environment development after 2008 from the change of the ownership point of view.

Energi som fysikbegrepp och samhällsfråga : En jämförande innehållsanalys av gymnasieläroböcker / Energy as a concept in physics and socio-scientific issue : A comparative content analysis of textbooks for upper secondary school in SwedenNorrman, Peter January 2019 (has links)
Enligt 2011 års läroplan för gymnasieskolan ingår det i fysikämnet att eleverna ska kunna delta i samhällsdebatten och diskutera etiska frågor från ett naturvetenskapligt perspektiv. Hållbar utveckling kan bidra till förståelse för fysikens betydelse i samhället, där energibegreppet, energiresurser och energianvändning för ett hållbart samhälle ingår i kursen Fysik 1. Hur detta manifesteras kan analyseras i termer av scientific literacy, emfaser, SSI/SNI, etc. Studien jämför fyra läroböcker i fysik med en kvantitativ, men tolkande, textanalys baserad på en metod med tolkningsschema som utarbetats av Engström för att undersöka hur hållbara energisystem behandlas i undervisning och läroböcker för Fysik A enligt 1994 års läroplan för de frivilliga skolformerna. En jämförelse görs även mellan läroböcker för Fysik 1 och Naturkunskap 1b avseende energiområdet för att undersöka skillnader i tyngdpunkt mellan olika visioner av scientific literacy för de båda ämnena. Vidare görs en kvalitativ textanalys mellan olika utgåvor av samma läroboksserie om i vad mån olikheterna förklaras av skillnader mellan 2011 och 1994 års läroplaner. Slutligen ingår en kvalitativ textanalys av hur begrepp relaterade till termodynamikens andra huvudsats behandlas i läroböckerna och i vad mån detta överensstämmer med övriga skillnader. Innehållsanalysen indikerar att skillnaden mellan fysikläroböckerna vad gäller visioner av scientific literacy är förhållandevis liten, men större vad gäller inslagen av teknikrelaterat innehåll. Däremot är skillnaden tydlig mellan ämnena, där läroböckerna i fysik kännetecknas av dominans för vision I, där naturvetenskapen i sig och dess metoder dominerar, medan läroböckerna i naturkunskap har ett klart större inslag av vision II, som har större inslag av att sätta naturvetenskaperna i en samhällelig och politisk kontext. Skillnaderna i hur fysikläroböckerna behandlar termodynamikens 2:a huvudsats är i överensstämmelse med den kvantitativa textanalysen. I vad mån debatten om olika visioner för scientific literacy i Sverige hanteras genom att ha parallella ämnen med överlappande innehåll diskuteras. Likaså huruvida det finns en tendens att läroplanens skrivningar konserverar valet av vilka SNI-frågor som tas upp i undervisningen. Detta riskerar i så fall att strida mot principen att dessa skall vara aktuella och av intresse för eleverna. / According to the Swedish curriculum for the senior secondary school from 2011, it is part of the physics subject that students should be able to participate in debates about social issues and to discuss ethical issues from a scientific perspective. Sustainable development can contribute to an understanding of the importance of physics in the society, with the energy concept, energy resources and energy usage for a sustainable society included in the course Physics 1. How this is manifested can be analyzed in terms of scientific literacy, emphases, socio-scientific issues, etc. The study compares four textbooks for Physics 1 using a quantitative, but interpreting, text analysis based on a method and coding scheme developed by Engström for investigating how sustainable energy systems is dealt with in education and textbooks for Physics A according to the Swedish curriculum for the upper secondary school from 1994. A comparison is also made between textbooks for Physics 1 and Science studies 1b concerning the energy area in order to compare differences in emphasis between different visions of scientific literacy for the two subjects. Furthermore a qualitative text analysis is made between different editions of the same textbook series about to what extent the divergence can be explained by the difference in curricula. Finally a qualitative text analysis is included about how concepts related to the second law of thermodynamics is dealt with in the textbooks and to what extent this corresponds with other differences. The content analysis indicates that the difference between the textbooks in physics concerning visions of scientific literacy is comparatively small, but larger when it comes to contents related to technical applications. On the other hand, the difference is obvious between the subjects, with the textbooks in physics being dominated by vision I, which is dominated by science as such and its methods, while the textbooks in science studies have a decidedly larger element of vision II, thus including more attempts to set science in its social and political context. The difference in how the textbooks in Physics describe the second law of thermodynamics is in accordance with the quantitative text analysis. To what extent the debate between different views of scientific literacy in Sweden is handled by having separate subjects with partly overlapping contents is discussed. Likewise whether there is a tendency that the formulation in the curriculum conserves the choice of which socio-scientific issue is brought up in the teaching. This would, however, be in conflict with the principle that these should be current and of interest to the students.

Le journal «Le Monde est un témoin voire un acteur de la vie de la République et de ses relations avec ses partenaires étrangers, à commencer par le plus important et le plus influent d’entre eux : les États-Unis d’Amérique. Cette thèse analyse d’une part l’image de ce pays dans les articles du «Monde». Elle s’intéresse à la place consacrée aux États-Unis, à leur relation avec le reste du monde, à leur image économique et à leur niveau de développement, à la description de leur société et de leur peuple, à l’image de leur système démocratique et enfin à l’image de leur puissance. Cette thèse étudie d’autre part la relation entre les États-Unis et la rédaction du «Monde» au sens large, c’est-à-dire journalistes et direction, durant les soixante-dix années écoulées depuis sa création, au fil des administrations présidentielles américaines. Elle montre comment les directeurs successifs et les principaux rédacteurs concernés connaissent et apprécient ce pays, comment est réalisée la couverture de l’Amérique par le journal. Elle étudie les rapports entre la rédaction du «Monde» et les autorités américaines, comment celles-ci accueillent, informent, essaient d’influencer ouvertement ou non le journal et ses équipes. Au delà, elle montre comment la direction du «Monde» s’inspire des États-Unis et de leur presse. Elle étudie enfin la ligne éditoriale du journal sur les États-Unis. Trois grandes périodes se dessinent, la première correspond à la direction d’Hubert Beuve-Méry qui marque durablement le journal de son souci d’indépendance matérielle et éditoriale. Ses successeurs essaient de maintenir son héritage tandis que l’Amérique divise la rédaction. Après la chute du mur de Berlin, une nouvelle génération, moderne, transforme le regard du journal sur l’Amérique, alors que le numérique révolutionne les médias. / The newspaper «Le Monde» gives testimony, and is almost an actor, of the French Republic and its relations to foreign partners, the most important and influential of which is the United States of America. On one hand we will look into the image given by this country throughout « Le Monde »’s articles. We will consider how the United States are being covered, the way they relate to the rest of the world, the way their economy is valued, their level of development, the description of their society and their people, the image given by their democracy and their power. On the other hand we will watch the acquaintances between the United States and « Le Monde »’s editorial staff in a broad way, that is journalists and directors, from its foundation along the seventy following years and the various US administrations, which will show how the successive directors of the newspaper and the main journalists have had a genuine knowledge and esteem for this country. We will also learn the way America is covered through the designing of the newspaper. We will see how the editorial staff and the american authorities intermate, the way the latter greet and convey informations in an attempt to influence, openly or not, «Le Monde»’s protagonists ans beyond this, how the directors of the newspaper are inspired by the United States and the american press. Last but not least, we will look into the editorial line «Le Monde» choses to refer to the United States. Three major periods will emerge, the first one of which corresponds to Hubert Beuve-Méry’s management with a longlasting concern ever since for financial and editorial independance. His successors will try to keep on with his heritage while America is dividing the editorial staff. After the fall of the Berlin wall the new generation will modify the vision « Le Monde » had of America whereas the digital technologies start revolutionizing the media.
