Dopravní kriminalita a její prevence / Traffic crime and its prevention

This Master's Thesis examines the issue of criminal law in the Czech road traffic sector and crime prevention. The Thesis tackles the basic concepts of traffic law and traffic accidents, which are the most visible results of traffic offenses, that cause damage to life, health and property. The problem of traffic accidents is their unpredictability, as no driver wants to cause them voluntarily. However, these are often the result of the driver's own behaviour. The Thesis offers a new approach to the issue of traffic accidents where the most common cause of accidents is the violation of traffic regulation. In my assessment, the driver's distraction, recklessness towards other drivers and a poor driving technique figures among the key factors. This statement is proved by an analysis of existing accident statistics and their comparison with the drivers' actual behaviour. The highest number of criminal offenses, such as manslaughter, personal injury or property damage is linked to the consequences of traffic accidents. These offenses are committed in most cases by gross negligence. The choice of means of transport at regular commuting is an issue that affect wide range of working population in Zruč nad Sázavou as well as students. The thesis explains on a representative sample of the population preference and choice of different means of transport at regular commuting to work and school from a small town Zruč nad Sázavou which is located in a relatively peripheral area. First, using statistical methods, socio-demographic, spatial and infrastructural aspects affecting the choice of means of transport are analysed. The second part of the research assesses the socio-psychological aspects of the choice of means of transport using controlled interview. Both surveys were conducted on the four main directions of commuting from Zruč nad Sázavou. Due to the peripheral location of the town and the lower extent of public transport car traffic in the form of individual trips or carpooling is more preferred for regular commuting For certain groups of people public transport still fulfills its function in providing transport services.

The choice of means of transport for regular commuting is an issue which concerns a wide range of working and student population. The aim of the thesis is to explain on a representative sample of the population this choice of different means of transport for regular commuting to work and school from a small town in a relatively peripheral position. This thesis deals with some aspects that influence the choice of means of transport in Zruc nad Sazavou for regular commuting. The results are also supported by a questionnaire survey. Analyses are conducted on the basis of quasi-experimental approach assessment of individual indicators. The next part of the thesis deals with the specifics of the choice of means of transport on the selected routes from Zruc nad Sazavou. The research has demonstrated the validity of the hypotheses. The most common means of transport used for commuting to selected towns is a car for its flexibility and speed of transport. For certain groups of people public transport is still playing its role in providing transport services.

Vliv kapacitní dopravní infrastruktury na socioekonomický rozvoj obcí ve Středočeském kraji / Effect of high-capacity transport infrastructure on socioeconomic development of municipalities in the Central Bohemia region

High capacity transport infrastructure is often referred to as a one of key factors in regional development. The aim of this study is specify effects of capacity transport infrastructure in relation with accessibility to Prague on possible municipalities development in the Central Bohemia region. Basis of this research is identify indicators, that are significantly affected existence of transport infrastructure and accessibility strong core and then to formulate future development of concerned areas. We used spatial analysis methods with demarcation time accessibility zones for accessibility research. Long term development is monitored using index changes of relevant indicators between 2001 and 2011 and their significance are evaluated by analysis of variance. Key factors in municipalities on transport infrastructure were compared with SO ORP. Characteristic of significant effects in area has provide identification different values in development. In spite problematic data base this research confirmed development effects of high capacity roads, especially in demographic terms, but they are significantly influenced by the time accessibility to region core and area economic base. The results can be used as a document for deciding on territorial investment and to prediction effects for the planned transport...

This thesis is concentrated on the research of recent state of the czech highways. The main aim of this work is to find out the reason of mistaken behaviour of the drivers in traffic. During analyzing further details I concerned myself on four basic factors: the influence of the environment, the influence of the car, what the man does while he is driving and the influence of the man himself on his operating. This work also includes the research of the driver as an individua together with external environment which affects him during the journey. The analysis of the influence of each factor was marked out as a field research on the way with the driver whereas were emphasised his transgressions, his sanity and the influence of the environment on himself. Especially monitoring which leaded to the observation of activities of the man in following aspects: respecting the speed limit, the traffic signs and other highway codes, mental condition of the driver in critical situations. Also the influence of the environment on the man was an important point in this work. Were chosen three segments which negatively affects the man ? the driver and there were proposed solutions to reduce them. The influence of the driver himself was characterized in following part. The analytic part summarizes obtained information from measuring and from the observation which are specified in the experimental part. In final part of this work are emphased any recommendations for fractional parts of the traffic which should lead to the improvement of the system thereby to the improvement of the recent state of this issue.

Dopravní napojení venkovských obcí Jihomoravského kraje

The theme of this thesis is the analysis of transport connection of rural municipalities (villages) in South Moravian Region. In the theoretical part by means of literature search terms regarding transport and transport services are defined. Then the description of transport types according to the covered territory and characteristics of the Integrated Transport System of South Moravian Region (IDS JMK) follow. After that the transport and socio-economic characteristics of South Moravian Region are also described. In the practical part the situational analysis of the transport connection of municipalities in South Moravian Region on weekdays and at weekends is carried on. It is evaluated on the basis of three parameters: frequency, time and price. The transport service was learned in the groups of municipalities according to the population in the direction to the catchment area centre of individual districts and to the capital of South Moravian Region - Brno. The practical part is closed with the analysis of alternative personal transport (time and price of travel) with different number of passengers and the possibility of cycling for three selected micro-regions.
