Rozdělení a aplikace matic flexibilního prototypového nástroje / Matrix classification and aplication in a flexible prototyping tool

Rygl, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
The price of the tools for making prototypes and small series of products, as well as the cost of additional changes in the tool are quite high and increase the price of the final product. A flexible tool provides an advantageous solution to create a wide variety of molds. In this thesis the area of flexible tooling is introduced. An experimental mechanism has been manufactured and tested. With the help of a methodical approach several solutions for a flexible tool design have been proposed. Based on the evaluation of all given criteria, the most suited version has been designed and manufactured. The tool has been tested and evaluated for the thermoforming process. Improvements and potential applications have been suggested. The results show that the flexible tool has some limitations but has a broad potential use in several applications.

Optische 3D-Analyse an Gesichtern von Patienten mit Lippen-, Kiefer-, Gaumenspalten

Brinkmeyer, Heiko 19 October 2016 (has links)

Problematika rychlé automatické výměny nástrojů u obráběcích strojů / Problematic of Fast Automatic Tool Change by Working Machinery

Pavlík, Jan January 2011 (has links)
This dissertation thesis is focused on the problem of the Automatic Tool Change for milling centers, which is recently shown as a very current topic. The content of this work is to conduct a comprehensive research of various types of ATC depending on the type of machine, as well as research of the current tool interface relating closely with these problems. There was made a comprehensive analysis on the basis of data obtained by comprehensive research, from which both the main factors affecting this topic and the area dealed and developed by this work resulted. The most problematic area of machinery used nowdays for the Atomatic Tool Change was detected as manipulator provided the exchange between spindle and tool storage. Kinematic structure and design of individual elements affects very significantly the dynamics of the whole process of exchange of tools. Therefore, the work is focused on problematic of the manipulator. The main results of this thesis are constructional design of several types of manipulators, which were partly realized within the project 1.2.4 of Brno department of RCMT in the form of the testing stands. There was developed simulation models for selected types of manipulators which were verificated by measuring on the real stand. On the basis of abovementioned problem there was identified another key issue related not only to the exchange process but also with complex problem of service life of spindle. It is a grab force in the process of picking tools. The work outlines the possibilities for further research of these forces on the service file of spindle (especially on service life of bering groups of spindle).

Experimental and Numerical Investigation of Tool Heating During Friction Stir Welding

Covington, Joshua L. 15 July 2005 (has links) (PDF)
The heat input to the tool has been investigated for friction stir welding (FSW) of aluminum alloy AL 7075-T7351 over a wide range of process operating parameters using a combined experimental/numerical approach. In a statistical Design of Experiments fashion, 54 experimental welds (bead-on-plate) were performed at 27 different parameter combinations. Measured outputs during each of the welds included forces in all three coordinate directions and internal temperature of the rotating tool at three locations near the tool/workpiece interface. The heat input to the tool was also identified for each weld using infrared imaging temperature measurement techniques and the portion of the total mechanical power entering the tool was calculated. These values were subsequently analyzed to identify the effect of process operating parameters. Two-dimensional, axisymmetric numerical heat conduction models of the tool were then produced and the approximate spatial distribution of the heat input to the tool along the tool/workpiece interface was identified. Experimental values for the heat input to the tool ranged from 155 W to 200 W, comprising 2.8% to 5.1% of the total mechanical power. Regression equations developed for the two values show that each is a function of the process operating parameters. Heat conduction models of the tool show that the approximate spatial distribution of the heat input to the tool along the tool/workpiece interface is one where the heat input is distributed non-uniformly along the interface, with 1% entering the tool at the pin, 20% entering at the base of the pin, and the remainder entering the flat portion of the shoulder. This distribution was valid for the majority of process operating parameter combinations tested. The maximum predicted temperature for the simulations occurred in the pin. This result was verified by the experimental tool temperature measurements. Insights gained into the FSW process from the combined experimental/numerical investigation were then discussed.

Jakobsson, Per January 2022 (has links)
This thesis raises a problem when an academic paper is to be scientifically evaluated. The examiner must be able to see, in the most objective way possible, whether the thesis meets the requirements of scientific probability, for the work to be allowed to reach the practical application of the public. This requires more development and adaptation of tools to fill a gap in the academic world's improvement work. Releasing an essay that is far from the truth can be both dangerous and financially devastating. Thus, the purpose and goal of this thesis is to evaluate aids that give researchers (participants) in academia (environment) the opportunity to assess (phenomena) own and others' academic scientific work. The means (study objects) used in this case study are partly a matrix and built for the purpose, and partly a classic maturation model. To achieve this purpose, a qualitative survey with observation scheme and content analysis is carried out on the tools, as this method works with the selected design (case study, cross-sectional design, and comparative comparison). The results of the study show that improvement tools can be used to evaluate essays process-oriented with the addition of ethical stances. In this essay, the essay reviewer influences the analysis of the thesis by choosing a strategy, where each choice is based on the same vision. It is central to choose the right strategy so that the essay authors are positively affected. Also central is the number of subjective decisions, which affects the degree of objectivity. The strength of the conclusion is that it deals with several dimensions of the essay review. However, the result may be influenced by the commitment the essay author of this paper feels to the innovation of the new matrix tool, which is an ethical dilemma. /
2022-06-05
