João e o vício: por entre o cuidar de ser / João and the Addiction: through the caring of being

Este estudo buscou uma compreensão acerca do fenômeno vício. Pela perspectiva da Fenomenologia Existencial, a pergunta sobre o que do ser do vício implica na descrição da forma pela qual este fenômeno se dá a ver, o como. O vício pôde ser explicitado em um caráter singular, pela experiência no contato com um homem viciado em cocaína, João. O percurso desse contato foi narrado a partir das considerações de Walter Benjamin sobre a narrativa e o narrador. O vício pôde ser compreendido como uma experiência dissonante, na qual a emergência da droga dissolve a urgência no cuidado próprio. Inapropriado do cuidado de si, o viciado incumbe àqueles ao redor da responsabilidade para a tarefa, na mesma medida em que se apresenta como uma ferramenta para a droga. Contudo, através dos suportes para sua sustentação, pode lançar-se no angustiante empreendimento de deixar de ser quem é para realizar-se como ser de possibilidades / Through the Existential Phenomenology´s perspective, the question what is the addiction´s being implies on the description over the way this phenomenon appears to sight, the how. The addiction could be made explicit in a singular character, through the experience from the contact with a cocaine addicted man, João. The course of this contact has been narrated using Walter Benjamin´s considerations regarding narrative and narrator. Ser adulto sobrevivente de câncer infantil: uma compreensão fenomenológica / Be-adult-survivor-of-childhood-cancer: a fenomenologic comprehension

O presente estudo tem o objetivo de compreender o que é ser adulto sobrevivente de câncer infantil. O método utilizado foi o fenomenológico-existencial e foi desenvolvido no Ambulatório de Curados do Serviço de Oncologia Pediátrica do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto Universidade de São Paulo e contou com a colaboração de sete adultos que tiveram câncer na infância. Foi realizada uma entrevista a partir da questão norteadora: Conte-me como está a sua vida. A análise das entrevistas foi construída à luz de algumas idéias de Martin Heidegger em Ser e Tempo (2005). Ser-adulto-sobrevivente-de- câncer-infantil se desvelou como um ser que se lança e que já está lançado e se projetando, resgata o vigor de ter sido, que se atualiza a cada instante. Assim, a vivência do adulto sobrevivente de câncer infantil desvela-se na temporalidade: vigor de ter sido, atualidade e porvir. Dessa forma, ter vivenciado câncer na infância constitui o existir do adulto, ainda que não se queira lembrar, podendo esta vivência ser impulsionadora do existir. Dessa forma, ser-sobrevivente-de-câncer-infantil-no-mundo-com-os-outros é ser projeto, é porvir, é lançar-se, é existir na fluidez da existência, ora na busca de si mesmo, ora buscando ser igual a todo mundo, sendo impessoal, sendo normal, porém a busca pela normalidade dá-se a partir do ser diferente, da busca de si mesmo, pois somos singular e plural ao mesmo tempo. Foi possível perceber que os adultos sobreviventes de câncer infantil necessitam de programas de acompanhamento que atendam às suas demandas e necessidades Porém, esse acompanhamento não deve ficar restrito ao âmbito metafísico, é necessário abertura para estar, co-existir com esse adulto sobrevivente, para que assim possa compreender o seu modo de existir. Assim, o profissional de saúde, em sua atuação, lidará com as diferentes formas de ser no mundo do sobrevivente, além da dimensão biológica do funcionamento do corpo humano. E isso só é possível, quando a equipe de saúde e o paciente constróem relações autênticas. Porém, essa atuação convoca a equipe de saúde a se colocar, a perceber-se co-existente, tendo que cuidar do seu vir a ser, buscando ou se perdendo de si mesma. / The aim of this work is to comprehend what is be an adult survivor of childhood cancer using the method existential-phenomenologic. This work was developed in the Ambulatório de Curados do Serviço de Oncologia Pediátrica do Hospital das Clínicas da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto Universidade de São Paulo and it count on the colaboration of seven adults that had childhood cancer. An interview was held from the following guiding question: tell me how your live is. The analysis of the interviews were developed using the ideas of Martin Heidegger in the book Ser e Tempo (2005). Be-adult-survivor-of-childhood-cancer was viewed as a being that throws oneself and that is already thrown and that, projecting oneself, recovers the strength of have been that renews every instant. Thus, the experience of live of the adult survivor of childhood cancer manifests on the temporality: the strength of have been, the present and the future. Then, to have experienced cancer during the childhood is part of the existence of the adult, even if he does not want to remember and this experience can even stimulate his existence. Thus, be-adult-survivor-of-childhood-cancer-in-the-world-with-the-other is be project, is future, is to throw oneself, is to exist in the flow of the existence, once looking for oneself, once trying to be equal to the other, being impersonal, being normal. However, the search of the normality happens from the I am different looking for himself/herself, because we are singular and plural at the same time. It was noted that the adult survivors of childhood cancer need accompaniment programs that attend your necessities. Nevertheless, this accompaniment cannot be restricted to the metaphysic field. It is necessary to be open to be with and to coexist with this adult survivor in order to understand your way of existence. Then, in your actuation, the health professional will deal with the different ways of the be in the world of the survivor, besides the biological dimension of the work of the human body. This is only possible when the health team and the patient build an authentic relation. Although, this actuation requires that the health team to perceive coexistent taking care of your own will be, searching or loosing itself.

本文考察佛教瑜伽中觀派系統內之刹那滅。此考察主要以寂護(Śāntarakita)之《攝真實》(Tattvasagraha)第八章「恆常的存在物之考察」(sthirabhāva-parikā)為文本根據,並以花戒(Kamalaśīla)之《疏》(Tattvasagraha-pañjikā)為輔助。刹那滅主張存在物只在一刹那中存在,能持續存在至下刹那。實在者(realist)如正派(Nyāya)、勝派(Vaiśeika)等以共相、本體等恆常的存在物,視為其他事物存在背後的基礎。他們認為本體能持續存在至下刹那,能關係於下刹那的存在物,把其產生或滅。按此,存在物必須透過被原因「產生」的形式生起,其滅也必須由其自身以外的原因造成,否則它能一直存在。如取實在者對存在物的解,刹那滅被推翻。筆者認為刹那滅之所以成有三點(1)被產生的存在物皆以「滅」為本性、(2)存在物是以即時產生結果的形式存在、(3)前刹那與後刹那的存在物以必然伴隨的(necessary concomitant)關係互相依待,後刹那的果並非由前刹那的因「生出」。本文旨在分析及探討上述的證。筆者以支持寂護的場闡釋,嘗試以回應反對者的批評,證存在者只有「被產生的」和「刹那的」存在物,所謂能持續存在的存在物,實際上並存在。筆者並進一步澄清,瑜伽中觀派系統內的刹那的存在物並非獨存在,其必然伴隨的關係也違反佛教的緣起觀。此以因果關係為概建構的主張,也能與中觀的世俗諦同時成。 / The present study is an examination of the Buddhist Yogācāra-Madhyamaka argument for momentariness in the sthirabhāvaparīkā chapter of Śāntarakita’s Tattvasagraha with reference to Kamalaśīla’s Tattvasagraha-pañjikā. The theory of momentariness holds that produced things only exist within one moment; they do not exist before or after. Realists such as Nyāya and Vaiśeika, on the other hand, regard universal, substance, and permanent existents alike as the basis of the existence of things. Since these existents can persist in the next moment, things in the next moment are considered to be produced or destroyed by them through the means of relation. For this reason, the realists hold that things must exist through production. The destruction of these things must also be produced. As the cause of destruction exists apart from these things, the latter will persist if the former is not present. The theory of momentariness will be refuted if this realist conception of existence is accepted. / The present study seeks to argue for the theory of momentariness with the following: (1) whatever is produced takes “destruction as its nature; (2) whatever exists produces its effect immediately in the same moment; (3) existents in the former moment and those in the latter moment are related to each other through a relation of necessary concomitance; they are not related through a causal relation in which the effect is produced out from the cause. The conclusion of the argument of this study is that whatever exists must be produced and momentary; the non-produced or the non-momentary things, which are considered to be persistent by the opponents, in fact have no existence. This study also points out that momentary existents under the Yogācāra-Madhyamaka system do not exist independently. Their necessary concomitant relation does not violate the Buddhist doctrine of dependent origination. Caring for dying parents : an existential phenomenological approach

The death of one�s parents, irrespective of the age at which it occurs, is generally regarded as a life experience of considerable significance. The last few years of an elderly person�s life are often characterized by increasing frailty, declining health and loss of independence. Responsibility for the spiritual and physical care of parents during that period is undertaken by many adult children. Current research in this area is generally informed by the requirements of social policy, which, by identifying and addressing the inherent difficulties in this so-called informal caring, is designed to support carers in the community. The research reported in this thesis represents a departure from this mode of inquiry and seeks, rather, to explore the existential aspects of caring in this particular situation, from the carer�s perspective. To achieve this objective, an existential phenomenological approach informed principally by the philosophies of Heidegger and Merleau-Ponty, and the adaptation of these philosophies by Schutz, Giorgi and van Manen to social science research, was developed to suit the particular requirements of the topic. In addition to the author�s autobiographic material, primary sources include conversations with five people who had been principal carers for their parents during their final illnesses. In all cases caring had ended with the parent�s death at least one year before the conversations took place. The principal secondary sources are Simone de Beauvoir�s memoir, A Very Easy Death, and Philip Roth�s account of his father�s illness and death, Patrimony: A True Story. In addition, the argument is supported throughout by reference to other literary works. From these sources a number of major existential themes, including temporality, hope, suffering, and knowing the body, have been explored in depth, in conjunction with relevant existential theories. Synthesis of these topics suggests that in this particular circumstance, for the people involved in the study, the phenomenon of caring can be understood as an unconditional engagement with the life and concerns of their parent at the end of life, and can be interpreted within an existential framework as representing an authentic way of Being.

O estágio de atendimento nos anos iniciais: experiência com plantão psicológico / Psychological practicum by early years students: experience through psychological attendance

A partir de 2007, o Projeto de Atendimento em Plantão Psicológico do Laboratório de Estudos em Fenomenologia Existencial e Prática em Psicologia (LEFE-PSA/IPUSP) disponibilizou estágio a estudantes a partir do segundo ano do curso. Esta investigação buscou conhecer a experiência de quatro plantonistas que iniciaram o seu primeiro estágio de atendimento em plantão no terceiro semestre do curso. Entrevistas individuais foram realizadas, de modo a constituírem relatos sobre este momento de formação. Como percurso metodológico, buscou-se inspiração na fenomenologia hermenêutica e na analítica do sentido como via para explicitação de saberes e impasses que surgiram nas narrativas colhidas sobre plantão. Por um lado, os relatos revelaram como o plantão se organizou para cuidar deste estudante: o atendimento era realizado com psicólogos e colegas dos últimos semestres, sendo supervisionados em grupo, além de haver aulas sobre fenomenologia existencial e aconselhamento psicológico. Por outro lado, o projeto mostrou como cada estagiário, a partir de seus questionamentos, conduziu-se de modo singular ao longo de pelo menos um ano de estágio, outro requisito para ser entrevistado. Neste sentido, evidenciou-se que o plantão contempla múltiplos dizeres e posicionamentos dos estudantes como possibilidade de propiciar um aprender pela experiência (ação). Em busca de descobrirem-se psicólogos, os estagiários disseram dos desafios e impasses encontrados neste modo de aprender, remetendo-os à crise de identidade profissional, à perspectiva fenomenológica existencial e também às limitações da própria instituição no qual este projeto de extensão ocorre. Convocados pela atenção psicológica dos supervisores, os saberes dos plantonistas mostraram-se incorporados em seu agir, sendo difícil falar sobre, mas surgindo nas reflexões sobre situações de atendimento, conversas e supervisões contadas. Neste sentido a formação surgiu como formar-ação, pela aprendizagem significativa como via privilegiada de constituição do saber de ofício do psicólogo. Assim, a investigação destacou a relevância deste estágio ocorrer nos semestres inicias pelo modo como estagiários apresentaram uma compreensão pertinente de plantão nesta perspectiva. Por essa via, manifesta-se a urgência da clínica-escola contemplar projetos de estágio que, simultaneamente, diferenciem-se dos tradicionais treinamento, observação e aplicação de técnicas, contemplando serviços que atenção às demandas da clientela, em sua amplitude / Since 2007, the project of Psychological Attendance, from the Phenomenological Existential Studies and Practice in Psychology Laboratory (LEFE-PSA-IPUSP), initiated such a practicum to students from the second year of the Psychology Course. The present investigation intended to explore and comprehend how four of those students experienced such practicum. Individual interviews were taken in order to obtain oral testimonies about that moment in their graduation formation. The methodological path was based on proposals of the hermeneutic phenomenology and the analytics of sense as a way to present knowledge and difficulties discovered according to the students narratives about Psychological Attendance. By one hand, they revealed how that practicum is organized to take care of the student: to be with a client, the freshmen students were accompanied by colleagues from final semesters or by psychologists and supervision happened in group, besides attending counselling psychology and existential phenomenology classes. On the other hand, the project showed itself as singular for one year, allowing the students narrative for this investigation. It was possible to comprehend how the psychological attendance opened to the participants many possibilities to learn through experience, by learning in action: they expressed challenges and difficulties in this path, mainly emphasizing the professional crisis identity, the existential phenomenological perspective and the limits of the educational institution for such extension project. At the same time, by the supervisors careful psychological attention, the students referred how they incorporated such knowledge in their acting by their reflexions about the experiences at the supervisions as well as with clients. It revealed the possibility of significative learning in action as pertinent to comprehend the meaning of psychologists attention, even when the practicum occurs for Psychology freshmen students. They expressed how the psychological attendance experience in such perspective is important by allowing them to know about the psychological action. Therefore, this investigation points to the urgency to changes in the curriculum of Psychology courses in order to contemplate projects that open new possibilities to the traditional practicum, directing them to the real students and clients actual needs

Este trabalho intenta tematizar a questão da crise através da prática de Plantão Psicológico, tendo como cenário o hospital geral universitário (HU) da Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Acompanhando pacientes e equipe de saúde do hospital, os psicólogos experienciaram muitas situações de crise, tais como aquelas expressas pelo gênero dramático. Suas experiências levaram a compreender tal prática por meio de uma analogia. Escolhe-se a tragédia grega como fio condutor para esta pesquisa, uma vez que este gênero literário do século V a. C. possui um caráter de transcendência histórica, trazendo em seu bojo a possibilidade de traduzir e desvelar aspectos da experiência humana nas situações críticas. Artisticamente, o drama se reporta a uma situação em que o protagonista encontra-se em uma encruzilhada do destino, submetido a uma circunstância de perda de liberdade por um advento imponderável e convocado a empunhar sua responsabilidade na direção do sentido de sua existência. A metodologia de pesquisa se assenta no olhar da fenomenologia existencial. Sendo assim, afasta-se de procedimentos ou instrumentais pré-definidos, partindo, como propõe M. Heidegger, do questionamento do ser. Elege-se a narrativa de atendimentos realizados por psicólogos plantonistas nos vários espaços do HU, apresentada através de diários de bordo, como matéria-prima para este interrogar e interpretar. Desvelou-se a crise como ruptura ocasionada por um acontecimento que irrompe na cotidianidade, levando à situação de alheamento e ocultamento de sentido pelo aniquilamento temporário da malha representacional que dá sustentação a existência. Estando lançado neste hiato, inaugura-se outra temporalidade que convoca à metaforização da crise, considerando-se o Plantão Psicológico como utensílio pertinente para possibilitar este trânsito / This present work intends to explore crisis phenomenon as a question through the Psychological Attendance practice, which scenario is the University General Hospital at the University of São Paulo. The psychologists experience many crisis situations such those expressed by drama theme, while accompanying hospital patients and health staff. Their experiences lead to comprehend such praxis by the means of an analogy. Greek tragedy is the guideline chosen for this research, because this literary style from the V b. C. century, by its historical transcendental characteristic, carries forward possibilities to translate and unveil relevant aspects of human experience when passing by critical situations. Artistically, drama conveys a situation where the protagonist finds himself in a destiny crossroads, under loss of freedom circumstances by an unexpected event, which convocates him to handle his own responsibility toward the sense of his existence. Existential phenomenology is the methodological path for this research. Departing from the questioning of being, as Heideggers proposal, it goes apart from predefined procedures. A presente tese busca refletir a respeito do existenciário corporar, a partir da narrativa de uma história pessoal, com ênfase na atenção psicológica. Percorrendo várias linhas da Psicologia para compreender a história de Frederico, e seu modo de presença junto ao outro, a pesquisa encontra na analítica do ser-aí outras possibilidades de compreensão para o corporar, que se difere fundamentalmente da concepção de corpo orgânico. O trabalho parte para investigar se é possível pensar na corporeidade, como existencial do ser-aí, a partir das considerações heideggerianas e como elas podem encaminhar, em paralelo a história de Frederico, possíveis compreensões do corporar. A pesquisa segue perpassando, juntamente, pelos existenciais do ser-aí, a saber, ser-nomundo, abertura, espacialidade, compreensão-de-ser, modos de se encontrar exisitindo, dentre outros. Por fim, tenta-se mostrar como a tonalidade afetiva, o horizonte disposto e o gesto estão em relação direta com o corporar. Das indagações brotadas, reflexões surgem na direção de poder melhor compreender o modo da presença de Frederico / The present thesis aims at analyzing the existentiell bodying forth, from a personal history narrative perspective, with emphasis on psychological attention. After reviewing several Psychologies theories in order to try to understand Frederico´s history, and his presence mode with the other, the research finds in the analytical Dasein other possibilities to comprehend bodying forth, which differs fundamentally from the body organic concept. The text goes on to investigate if it is possible to think of corporality, as a Dasein´s existential, according to Heideggers analytical considerations, and how the heideggerian approach can show the way, alongside Fredericos history, to possible understandings of the bodying forth. The research also discusses the Dasein´s existentials, as being-in-theworld, disclosedness, spatiality, finding oneself, among other concepts. In the end, the text attempts to show how being attuned, disposed horizon and gesture are in direct relation to the bodying forth.
