This thesis is about register and how it affects my playing through compositions and improvisation. As a brass musician, the high and low range is something that takes a lot of effort to master. How important is register for my artistic expression and how does register influence my music?  My method to test this is by composing with a template where I have three musical components that I arrange in different registers. The first component is melody. The second one is ostinato, which in this thesis means something rhythmical that creates movement through time. The last component is harmony.  In the next part of the thesis, I analyze all of my compositions and describe how I have worked with the template. I have also written about what difficulties we encountered as a band when we rehearsed the music. Föreliggande studie berör musikundervisning utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Syftet är att ta del avlärares tankar kring flickors och pojkars musicerande samt hur lärare ser på instrument- ochgenreval i musikundervisningen. Studien har socialkonstruktivism och genusteori som teoretiskautgångspunkter. Studien har genomförts med kvalitativ metod där semistrukturerad intervjuanvänts för insamling av empiri. Tre högstadielärare som undervisar i musik har deltagit i studien.Resultatet visar att samtliga lärare har pop- och rockinstrument som bas i sin musikundervisning.I resultatet ger deltagarna uttryck för att genus inte har någon större påverkan påmusikundervisningen. Deltagarna beskriver sin undervisning som lärarstyrd vilket påverkarundervisningen positivt ur ett genusperspektiv. Genom diskussion utifrån tidigare forskningkopplat till resultaten går det att urskilja en konflikt angående hur lärarstyrd undervisning kanpåverka lust och motivation i negativ riktning. Samtliga deltagarna är överens om att de instrumentsom används i undervisningen inte har någon genuskod. Sång är det instrument som visar tendenstill att vara feminint genuskodat utifrån lärarnas uttryck. Resultatet visar att lärare påverkas avtidigare musikerfarenheter och använder dessa erfarenheter i sin undervisning vilket leder till enreproduktion av musikkonstruktioner.

Uppsatsen är ett försök att redogöra för hur ett antal trum- och slagverkslärare tänker kring frågan: “varför är det så få tjejer som väljer att spela trummor? Hur uppfattas skillnaderna mellan tjejer och killar i hur de närmar sig trummorna samt hur de blir bemötta i det pedagogiska rummet?Grunden för arbetet är ett antal intervjuer med trum- och slagverkslärare, som arbetar på kulturskolor och på gymnasieskolor och deras tankar och reflektioner. Resultaten och vår analys visar att lärarnas uppfattning är att det är traditionella könsmönster och traditioner som står i vägen för att fler tjejer skulle välja att spela trummor. Undersökningen visar att tjejer inte på något sätt är sämre än killar på att spela trummor men att de saknar drivkraft och motivation i jämförelse med killarna. Ett problem är att det saknas kvinnliga förebilder som spelar trummor. / This is a study to examine what drum teachers think about why there is so few females that choose to study and play the drum set. What do the think the difference is between how girls and boys approach the drum set and how do they get received in the school? The foundation of this work is a series of interviewees with drum teachers that work in gymnasieskolor and music schools and there thoughts and reflections on the subject.The results of our interview study show that teachers believe that it is gender patterns and traditions that prevent more girls from choosing to play the drums. Our study shows that girls are not in any way less gifted than boys at playing the drums. However, usually girls lack the driving force and motivation compared to boys. The lack of female role models who play the drums is a problem

Temporary postponement of criminal procedure Abstract The diploma thesis deals with the procedural institute of temporary postponement of criminal procedure. This procedural instrument is one of few exceptions from the principal of legality, which is the topic of the first chapter. The following chapter introduces historical development as this institute is quite new in the Czech criminal law. The following chapter focuses on current regulation of this institute, which can be applied in various situations. There is also a description of specific institute of temporary postponement in this chapter, which is connected to the institute of not pressing the charges against the suspect. This institute brings some problematic aspects for application, which are analysed with a purpose of finding a solution. The following chapter deals with diversions in criminal procedure including the characteristics of this category with each one being briefly described. The practical part of the thesis is dedicated to comparison between temporary postponement and diversions in criminal procedure, based on the definitions and characteristics.
