The main theme of the thesis are social networks which has become more and more significant communication means these days. It mainly focus on the "public" and "private" categories that appear at social networks - especially on Facebook. Theory brings different views of traditional authors Hannah Arendt and Jürgen Habermas based on antagonistic nature of this dichotomy - public and private. These approaches are complemented by a modern concept of an american anthropologist Susan Gal, which serves as an alternative. The second part deals with the qualitative research and its results that show how Facebook users percieve and build private and public areas on this social network. Where is the border between them and if there is a possibility in this dynamic environment to find similarities or differences from the traditional conception. This master thesis focuses on social networks and websites for readers. The first part includes an introduction to the topic, it also presents several typologies of users of social networks coupled with the characteristics specific to the users of readers networks, including structure of these sites in general. A detailed analysis of selected Czech and foreign networks and websites follows, while special attention was paid to the projects Goodreads and Databáze knih. The research section includes processed data and the results of the questionnaire survey and structured interviews with users of Goodreads. Preferences and opinions of the respondents sample of users were analyzed during the survey in order to outline the characteristics of the reader network, which will meet the user's requirements and expectations. The diploma thesis is focused on e-shops with interior furnishings, especially on the use of individual forms of online marketing by these e-shops. Literary re-search is devoted primarily to web site analysis, SEO, Search Engine Optimization and individual forms of online marketing communication. In this diploma thesis results of analysis of on-page and off-page factors of selected e-shops are inter-preted and further analysed. Based on the results obtained through the services offered by online marketing agency HPR recommendation was created on how to distribute the budget within the online forms of online marketing.

The author focuses on questions relating to jurisdiction which are, according to the author's opinion, specific and controversial to electronic commerce cases. Other questions of procedural law, such as, for example, recognition and enforcement of judgments, are not analyzed in this thesis, since the author does not see any specific issues with these questions in connection with electronic commerce. The Chapter No. 1 in the theoretical portion of this dissertation thesis refers to internet as medium operating electronic commerce. The Chapter No. 2 reflects key and basic terms, contains, inter alia, definition of electronic commerce. The aim of this thesis is to give a comprehensive overview about the internet auctions from several different perspectives, but mainly form the law-related perspective. The relation of the internet auctions to other branches of law is examined -- especially to the consumer protection or the questions of counterfeit goods. Part of this thesis is devoted to pay-per-bid auctions and their place in legal regulations in Czech Republic. The German regulations are also introduced a compared to the Czech ones. In the end there is an introduction to some interests from the auction world.

This thesis deals with ethical aspects of employing social networks in personnel management. Selected social networks with their benefits and limits in this field are presented. It is focused on the recruitment and selection processes from the ethical point of view and possible risks of using social networks. The thesis is based on previous findings mostly from foreign scientific sources. The attitude of human resources specialists to using social networks in the recruitment process is discussed. In a qualitative survey, the attitude of human resources specialists from organizations and from recruitment companies is compared to find out possible differences.

It surveys the basic principles of Facebook and points to the risks arising from the use of social networks and disruptive behavior on the Internet. The work is a treatise on the prevention of cyberbullying and safe behavior on the Internet. In the empirical part, through a questionnaire survey, it examines the risk behavior of students at the second stage of two primary schools in Prague, in relation to life satisfaction. The empirical part also determines life satisfaction associated with the object and method of communication on Facebook. The purpose of this paper is to summarize current knowledge about electronic trading and to outline the benefits and drawbacks of potential software solutions in electronic trading. This paper is focused not only on theoretical findings and bases, relating to electronic trading, but also on the possibilities of establishing such trading within the confines of the Czech environment. Its goal is to select a suitable open source software solution for electronic trading based on predefined criteria and to warn of potential challenges relating to it. This paper should contemporaneously serve to help an individual interested in establishing electronic trading to decide which solution is the most appropriate, even if he/she selects a product that is not open source. This should serve, in such a case, as a methodical set of instructions that guides the individual to select the correct solution. Among other aspects, this paper should also help an individual interested in electronic trading to decide, whether or not an open source solution is suitable, and if there is any merit in exploring this option.

The first part is focused on theoretical knowledge that explains the basic concepts related to the topic. In the second part, I focused on questioning and interviews. The aim was to find out if the customers buying food via Internet, whether they would welcome this form of selling and distributing food and the benefits of buying them over the Internet.
