Vybrané e-shopy a jejich internetové stránky / Selected E-shops and their Websites

The diploma thesis deals with e-shops and their websites. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the selected e-shops and their websites, activities of supervisory authorities in this area and creating suggestions for an improvement. The theoretical part explains basic terms connected to e-shops, history, legislation and supervisory authorities related to this area. In the practical part is conducted controlled in-depth interview with the employee of the Czech Trade Inspection. Moreover a questionnaire survey was carried out in order to examine the consumer's experiences with e-shops and their legal awareness. The thesis also contains evaluation of the selected e-shops and their websites and case study containing purchase from one selected e-shop. Based on the obtained information are suggested recommendation for the improvement.

The thesis deals with manifestations of lexical dynamics in the language of Internet discussion forums. The chosen communication sphere is typical for its creativity and spontaneity, respectively active exchange of lexical means and the effort for fresh expressions. For these reasons, the language of discussion forums on the Internet is a suitable material basis for the confrontational description of lexical innovations in contemporary Bulgarian and contemporary Czech. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the notion of neologism and the terms connected with it, as well as the specific features of Internet communication. In the practical part, a structural and semantic analysis of Czech and Bulgarian neologisms is carried out, and considering that a large part of the new lexicon used in the discussion forums is borrowed mainly from English, more attention is paid to the interpretation of the meaning of these loanwords and the ways of their adaptation in Czech and in Bulgarian.

Legal aspects of the online marketing The ever-growing role and importance of the Internet in today's society encourages the quick development of a relatively young and dynamic field - online marketing. Since the central goal of the online marketing is to maximize the profits of the given entity, commercial interest may easily get into the conflict with the interests of others. However, endangered entities are not only competing entities, but very often the customers themselves, addressing of which is much easier and cheaper in the Internet than in the "real world." In addition, in recent years the importance of the issue of the Internet users' privacy has been growing. Legal responses mainly consist in the public regulation, the compliance of which is supervised by the executor of the public administration appointed to do this by the legislator. However, also private regulation is worth mentioning, which is usually used primarily by competitors of the infringing entity rather than by consumers themselves. Forms of abuse of dominance in the area of the Internet platforms The thesis is dedicated to the topic of abuse of dominant position in the area of the Internet platforms. Its aim is, firstly, to outline the challenges arising from the specific nature of the area, which might, from the competition-authorities' point of view, complicate the enforcement of competition law in the case of abuse of dominance. Secondly, the thesis tries to find the answer on the question to what extent these problems have been reflected in the existing decision-making practice. The structure of the thesis is divided into four main parts. The first part is an introduction. The second part provides an essential introduction to the area in question. The significance of personal data protection in the Czech Republic and in other developed countries has been continually increasing. A bank's security system breakdown can cause not only a misuse of the client's personal data but also a financial loss that harms the client and the bank reputation as well. The aim of the thesis is an analysis of the direct banking security and protection means of sensitive data of prime banks on the Czech market. First chapter characterises the consumer protection issues in regard of banking. The second part of the thesis concentrates on the area of direct banking, its forms, possible threats and the particular security tools used by local banks. Last section consists of an analysis of the survey among the banks and their clients.
