Demlovi "Moji přátelé" z hlediska intertextuality / Deml's "Moji přátelé/My Friends" from an intertextual viewpoint

Ulyankina, Evgenia January 2014 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the interpretation of Deml's prose anthology Moji přátelé/My Friends from an intertextual viewpoint. The work is focused mainly on the reconstruction of My Friends' genesis and intertextual structures and on the interpretation of identified references, i.e. allusions and quotations. The thesis also explores Deml's vocabulary of flowers by reference to Biedermeier's work, it surveys repertoire of the main motifs and offers analysis of author's poetics. The work is also focused on Deml's specific dialogue.

Nová role předmětu v umění objektu a instalace / "New" role of an object in "object art" and "art of instalation"

Holubcová, Klára January 2011 (has links)
Submitted graduation theses offer different views of questions relating to an object (thing) in the "object art". The foundation of the "object art" brought a "new" role of an object. It does mean that the border of an art types are no more close, as well as life and art are now transparent. We can find qualitative changes in a various ways of treatment of an object. I saw these changes in according to four basic criteria: meaning, material, form and function. Another centre line of the text are overlaps of fine art and applied art, which detects common tendences in both spheres.

The fairy tale intertext in Margaret Atwood's Alias Grace and Anne Hbert's Kamouraska

Li Sheung Ying, Melissa S. 06 1900 (has links)
This study examines the use of the fairy tale intertext in contemporary Canadian womens fiction. In using specific fairy tale plots, themes, motifs, and/or characters within their works of fiction, women writers of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries purposefully express their goal for the revival and continuity of the female narrative voice and sense of agency. To explore the fairy tale-fiction relationship, Margaret Atwoods Alias Grace and Anne Hberts Kamouraska are approached from what fairy tale scholar Jack Zipes has constructed as the theory of contamination of the fairy tale genre. The fairy tale genres integration into contemporary fiction represents an important development where fairy tale narratives are critically reread so as to bring out deeper meanings for the contemporary audience. / Comparative Literature

No. of bitstreams: 1 arquivototal.pdf: 457608 bytes, checksum: e1f5f9717120aa60cb40c1ed47f86e89 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-03-25 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The main aim of this dissertation is to investigate, through the survey of the critical work of Manuel Bandeira, the way that his prose essays influences his poetic. Considering his line of though as a poetry critic, we will study the work of the following pre-symbolist Brazilian poets that were studied by Manuel Bandeira in his critical prose: Raimundo Correia, Casimiro de Abreu and Gonçalves Dias. We also intend to verify, through the observation of intertextual characteristics and stylistic traits, the manner he constructs in his lyric the translation of the nineteenth century tradition. Our study will not take into account Bandeira s essays about Castro Alves work due to the fact that we do not agree that Alves has had a decisive influence on Bandeira s poetic.

O mito de electra: labor estético, retorno e diferença / The myth of electra: aesthetic labor, return and difference

Leites Junior, Pedro 04 March 2016 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2017-07-10T18:55:51Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 pedro_ leite.pdf: 2564424 bytes, checksum: e6bee579a2574f114169554419149801 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-03-04 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This study has the objective of developing a comparative and interpretative research, from a group of dramaturgic works produced in different historical contexts which dialogue with the Greek myth of Electra. We have interest in observing and interpreting how, in the mimetic process, the mimemes perform the transposition of the myth; develop a study considering if there was or if there is a differential effect in the process of transposition that encompasses a content, a configuration of the myth; verify in what extent content and aesthetical form are maintained and which works present a rupture to the literary series around the myth of Electra. In this perspective, we intend to reflect about the way playwrights have aesthetically appropriated works from the past to perform the questioning of their historical temporality. In this sense, our study starts from the narrative of oral tradition to proceed with readings of the classics: Oresteia (458 b.C.), by Aeschylus, Electra (between 420 b.C. and 413 b.C.), by Sophocles, and Electra (413 b.C.), by Euripides. The ancient Greek tragedies are here placed in dialogue with two modern dramaturgical works: Electra (1901), by the Spanish writer Benito Pérez Galdós, and Mourning Becomes Electra (1931), by the North American playwright Eugene O'Neill. From the notion of intertextuality and following assumptions of Comparative Literature, the mimetic processes are dealt with in conjunction to reflections on the tragic, the myth, the literary canon, the relation between work and society, among other theoretical contributions brought into dialogue / Este trabalho desenvolve um estudo, de caráter comparativo e interpretativo, a partir de um conjunto de obras dramatúrgicas, produzidas em diferentes contextos históricos, que dialogam com o mito grego de Electra.

L'hybridité dans l'oeuvre de l'écrivain brésilien Moacyr Scliar (1937-2011) : judéité, imaginaire et représentations / Hybridism in the works of Brazilian writer Moacyr Scliar (1937-2011) : jewishness, imaginary and representations

Lani, Soraya 10 December 2012 (has links)
The work of author Moacyr Scliar is a living testimony to the transposition of his Jewish cultural legacy to his literary creation, which gave life to a “place in between” favourable to the inception of hybrid representations coming from his twofold identity, Jewish and Brazilian. The present work intends to study the mechanisms of his hybrid world including both the form – generic hybridism – and the content – cultural hybridism – of seventeen fictional narratives published between 1968 and 2008. The first part of this study will analyse the formation of a Judeo-Brazilian space which is in constant motion but also the specificity of its animal metamorphic representations. The second chapter is devoted to the hybrid type of historiographic metafictions and to the scrutiny of the strategies dealing with cultural translation in the case of mythical Jewish and historical characters and their relations. The third part proposes to reflect on the evolution of biblical intertextual practices, ranging from implicitation to postmodern parody.

Subsolos portenhos : o intertexto Arlt-Dostoiévski

Ribeiro, Vitor Alexandre January 2007 (has links)
This work deals with the interplay of contexts involved in the Arlt-Dostoevsky intertext. It asserts that, behind the intertextual space, there is a clash and an interrelation of contexts through literary representation and modeling, where the literary representation of a context a mediate and structure the interpretation and the fictionalization of a given receptive context b. In this consists the concept of intercontextualization, which lays the basis for this study on the Arlt-Dostoevsky intertext. In the case of Arlt’s transtextualization of Dostoevskyan fiction, the literary-archetypal constitution is of fundamental importance. Therefore, the underground archetype is investigated as the representational instance of clandestine, subversive and noncanonical traditions. These traditions – which I call underground traditions –, mediated through the Dostoevskyan fictional material, represent to Arlt a global and wide alternative to the criollo tradition as fabricated by the Argentinean elite as a cultural support for their political agenda. I do not intend here to present an in-depth historical analysis of the specific contextual elements connected to each of texts in dialog. Instead, I propose to set the theoretical principles to the intercontextual reading of the literary archetypes and their role in the process of reception-creation.
