The dissertation deals with the theme of development of tax mix in the EU in a consequence of the financial crisis. The main aim of this work is the evaluation of individual countries based on analysis and comparisons of the development of their tax mixes; these countries are classified by their geographical location. There is statistical significance test of changes in the structure of the average tax mix European Union countries made. The theoretical part is based on a compilation of findings from available literature. In the analytical part there is an analysis of the evolution of the proportion of individual types of taxes in the tax mix; it is again focused on individual groups of countries. These countries were grouped together by the world side to east, west, north and south units. It is followed by the comparison of the average tax mix. And the same is made for different groups of countries categorized by geographical location. At the end of analysis the test is performed by paired Students t-test; the aim is find out whether there are statistical significant changes of the individual taxes in the time of selected period.

The thesis, entitled "Human behaviour in crisis situations", is focused on the issue of floods as a specific emergency situation. The theoretical part analyses the emergency situation itself, its initiators and development. Subsequently, it describes crisis interventions and fundamental strategies, which help to successfully overcome the crisis. Furthermore, the first part deals with stress, its impact on our health, stress responses and possible strategies how to control it. Consequently, it describes forms of social support, which are important for people affected by the emergency situation. The partial conclusion aims to theoretically summarize the issue of floods. The practical part is based on
a quantitative research method, specifically questionnaire survey, which was targeted on people, who have experienced floods, and thus help to characterize their behavior. The second partial conclusion summarizes the questionnaire responses and the hypotheses will be either verified or falsified at the end.

After the analysis follows the recommendations on how to get more efficient deployment of armed forces for unexpected events and to accelerate the return to economic stability.

Summary
Thesis Comparison of Greek and Czech economies has been devied into two main parts, the theoretical and the practical one.
The theoretical part was about gaining an important theoretical knowledge, which lead to a broader understanding of the issue. There were mentioned descriptive methods, describing various macroeconomic indicators, that were used to compare the two national economies. Alos, there were taking into consideration several main economical aspects, such as: gross domestic product, general unemployment rate, inflation rate, export, import and interest rates, and the national debt coefficient. The last chapters have been devoted to describe the Maastricht criteria and the process of involving euro in Czech Republic.
The practical part included individual macroeconomic indicators, examined in terms of development of both economies, and subsequently with the help of statistical methods, made the comparison, that highlighted important analogies and differences. For deeper perception of the issue, there were used data of other European Union countries and countries that had eccepted euro in this thesis. And the last but not the least, the macroeconomic data evaluation has been set for the period from 2005 to 2015.
Findings were based on the last part of the thesis, which obtained comparison of the development of both economies in the past, and also included the assumption for future development. Conclusion described the impact on Czech Republic economy, influenced by embracement of euro.

The first part of the thesis discusses the theoretical aspects of the concept and the dimension of the politic and economic crisises. The analytical part includes a statistical analysis of trade relations between Ukraine and the EU, along with graphical and tabular presentation of results. In the last part of the thesis the author proposes specific recommendations, which should lead to overcoming of crisis and to approaching of Ukraine closer to European standards.

The thesis draws attention to the most frequent causes of children unfavourable life situations which are solved in crisis centres. Introductory part focuses on theoretical definitions of crisis, crisis intervention, family and its importance for children, the problems of divorces and CAN syndrome. The aim of the thesis was to find out which are the most frequent problems encountered by the crisis centres workers and compare the clients and services of two selected crisis centres in Prague and České Budějovice. At the beginning the hypothesis was stated: the problems of CAN syndrome in clients of crisis centres occurs more often than other problems. The hypothesis was proved only in Children Crisis Centre in Prague. For the service comparison of the chosen centres semi-standardized interview with nine informants was used. From the answers of crisis centre workers the following hypothesis emerged: crisis centre workers suppose that provided services in terms of crisis intervention are sufficient.

This thesis deals with the impacts of the financial crisis on the local government, specifically on the regions and municipalities, in the Czech Republic. The first part describes the causes of the financial crisis and the particular impacts on the US. The thesis starts in the source of the crisis ? in the US, continues to the impact on the EU, but first of all it concentrates on the macroeconomic influences on the Czech Republic. The data from the information systems of Ministry of Finance, state final accounts and current legislative regulations are used to analyse the impacts on the local governments. The changes in the local budgets caused by the economic downturn are analyzed using the revenues and expenditures, which are further classified.

Životní fáze podniku se zaměřením na období krize / The phases of the enterprise lifecycle focused on the period of crisisČECHUROVÁ, Marie January 2013 (has links)
The aim of the Diploma work was to evaluate the phases of the enterprise lifecycle, as well as to focus on the phase of the crisis and consequently to reveal the impact of the crisis by means of a system of indicators. In the theoretical part of the Diploma work, the enterprise lifecycle including its individual phases were described followed by the causes of the crisis and the possibilities of financial rehabilitation. In the practical part of the Diploma work, the particular enterprise was introduced at first, followed by the desription of its economic characteristics, which were used to identify the phases of the enterprise lifecycle for the period 2004 ? 2012. Corresponding results were found out with respect to the enterprise activities. The year 2009 meant crisis for the enterprise. The crisis was caused by the ongoing global economic recession, as well as by strong links to foreign partners associated with high foreign exchange losses. The following year, however, the enterprise recovered from the crisis and launched the re-growth phase, which in 2012 was transformed into the phase of stability, maturity, and with which the enterprise would like to keep up for as long as possible.
