Produktionskartläggning och utveckling

Bernhardsson, Johan, Eriksson, Jonas January 2007 (has links)

Applications of Mathematica in Probability and Statistics

Lin, Zong-Yue 07 July 2011 (has links)
In this paper, I'll introduce the applications of Mathematica 7th and 8th edition in probability and statistics. The major contents are statistical data and charts, basis statistics, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, distribution fitting, regression analysis, cluster analysis and so on. Except introducing variously related commands, this paper will provides corresponding examples, so it can be regarded as a toolbook for people interested in the probabilities and statistical parts of this software.

Development of Creative Life Style Check List

Lin, Wan-Ying 25 July 2012 (has links)
This study is aim to develop and validate the Creative Life Style Check List by analysis of the literature scale and integration expert opinions. This scale for the self-report scale, a total of 28 questions, uses Likert five-point scale scoring. There were four subscale, ¡§wildly life experiences ¡§, ¡§imagination¡¨, ¡§new creation and expression¡¨, and ¡§openness mind¡¨. Purposive sampling method to extract the Sun Yat-sen University, Ministry of students as the study sample, the pre-pilot scale a total of 304 samples, a total of 983 formal scale samples. The MPCM analysis by the Rasch model is to examine the scale of reliability and validity. Content validity Infit MNSQ is between 0.75 ~ 1.3logits, each subscale internal consistency from .831 to .893. Scale internal consistency reliability was .93. Construct validity of the comparison of PCM and MPCM that estimated residuals of MPCM smaller than PCM. That means four-dimensions model more fit than one-dimension model. The correlation between each subscale is in the range of 0.684 ~ 0.861. The validity generalization, the scale of the boys and girls difficulty estimate differences in the range of 0.000 to 0.198, on behalf of this scale is no gender differential item functioning (DIF). Participants separated reliability coefficient of 0.844 to 0.900 that means this scale can stability measure the location of participants of the creativity construct. Difficulty estimated values of each subscale in the formal questionnaire and the pre-test scale ranged from .815 to .944 is high correlation. And p <0.05 show the scale has cross-sample stability.

The STAPL pList

Xu, Xiabing 2010 December 1900 (has links)
We present the design and implementation of the Standard Template Adap- tive Parallel Library (stapl) pList, a parallel container that has the properties of a sequential list, but allows for scalable concurrent access when used in a paral- lel program. The stapl is a parallel programming library that extends C with support for parallelism. stapl provides a collection of distributed data structures (pContainers) and parallel algorithms (pAlgorithms) and a generic methodology for extending them to provide customized functionality. stapl pContainers are thread-safe, concurrent objects, providing appropriate interfaces (pViews) that can be used by generic pAlgorithms. The pList provides Standard Template Library (stl) equivalent methods, such as insert, erase, and splice, additional methods such as split, and efficient asyn- chronous (non-blocking) variants of some methods for improved parallel performance. List related algorithms such as list ranking, Euler Tour (ET), and its applications to compute tree based functions can be computed efficiently and expressed naturally using the pList. Lists are not usually considered useful in parallel algorithms because they do not allow random access to its elements. Instead, they access elements through a serializing traversal of the list. Our design of the pList, which consists of a collec- tion of distributed lists (base containers), provides almost random access to its base containers. The degree of parallelism supported can be tuned by setting the number of base containers. Thus, a key feature of the pList is that it offers the advantages of a classical list while enabling scalable parallelism. We evaluate the performance of the stapl pList on an IBM Power 5 cluster and on a CRAY XT4 massively parallel processing system. Although lists are generally not considered good data structures for parallel processing, we show that pList methods and pAlgorithms, and list related algorithms such as list ranking and ET technique operating on pLists provide good scalability on more than 16, 000 processors. We also show that the pList compares favorably with other dynamic data structures such as the pVector that explicitly support random access.

A List-based Low Power Scheduling Mechanism for Processor-in-Memory Systems

Shu, Yu-Wen 21 July 2003 (has links)
Power consumption is gradually becoming an important issue in designing computing systems. Most of the low power researches focused on semiconductor technique and hardware architecture design but less utilized the techniques of software optimization. In this thesis, list scheduling is employed to reduce the energy cost for the Processor-in-Memory system not at the sacrifice of execution performance. In our list-based low power scheduling algorithm, a priority list will be maintained for each scheduling step. The scheduling kernel utilizes the priority of mobility to determine which task will be scheduled to the suitable processor based on the energy cost model of energy-delay product. The experimental results are presented and discussed.

I väntan på ett nytt hjärta. / Waiting for a new heart

Alfredsson, Malin, Johansson, Amanda January 2015 (has links)
Background: In Sweden the primary reason for heart transplants is severe heart failure. Heart transplants are performed both at Sahlgrenska University hospital and at Skånes University hospital. Patient undergoing several extensive investigations before he or she will be considered for the waiting list. Primary factor for receiving a heart is first of all the patient who is in the greatest need of a new heart and the patient most suited to receive the donated heart. Previous studies show that patients feel the waiting time to be unpredictable. Aim: To describe patients’ experiences of the time before a heart transplant. Method: Qualitative content analysis was used as the analysis method and seven blogs were applied. Results: Life is seen from a new and different perspective. A common factor for patients with heart failure was the physical limitation they felt. Life stopped for a while, and a waiting to regain “life” grew strong. Family and nursing staff was thought to play an important role. To maintain a positive attitude was thought to be a criterion to manage the anticipations. Conclusion: A patient waiting for a heart transplant experiences a change in their life world. To allow proper care it is important that the nurse recognizes this change and acknowledge it.
