Ambulanssjuksköterskors upplevelser under ett bestämt ambulansuppdrag då LUCAS™ användes

Eriksson, Mikael January 2010 (has links)
Aim: The aim was to investigate the ambulance nurses experiences during a specific ambulance missions that led to usage of LUCAS ™.Method: Participating ambulance nurses were randomly assigned from a total sample group of 12 women and 39 men. Five women and five men participated. Qualitative interviews were conducted, where the Critical Incident Technique approach was used. Collected interviews were valued using qualitative content analysis.Result: Interview texts were divided into three domains, 10 subcategories could be identified which were sorted into three categories. A theme was finally formulated. The initial alarm data from SOS Alarm is important for the ambulance nurses preparation. There where cardiac arrest situations when the work went well, as well as situations where problems arose. The informants expressed that they should practice on LUCAS ™ to a greater extent than they now are doing. Staff in the emergency room, some time was perceived as stressful and they did not listen. The informants expressed frustration with the major administrative tasks after a LUCAS™ case, on the other hand, the "team spirit" where highlighted, they solve the task together. Conclusion: Developments during ambulance missions where LUCAS ™ will be used depends on, alarm data, resources, situation at the scene, planning, roles, supervision, handling of LUCAS ™ and Case Report Form, relatives and viewer reactions, the receipt at the emergency department and finally that ambulance staff cooperates after the LUCAS ™ mission. Resultat: Intervjutexten kunde delas in i tre domäner, 10 underkategorier kunde identifieras som sorterades i tre kategorier.

Bruno Astrolino e Silva 08 December 2016 (has links)
In this work we explore the Fibonacci and Lucas numbers. The majority of the historical results are stated and proved. Along the text several identities concerning Fibonacci and Lucas numbers are shown valid for all integers. Generalized Fibonacci sequences, the relation between Fibonacci and Lucas numbers with the roots of the equation x2 -x -1 = 0 and the connection between Fibonacci and Lucas numbers with a class of matrices in M2(R) are also explored.

Recepce díla Lucase Cranacha st. v malířství první poloviny 16. století v Čechách / The Acceptance of Works of Lucas Cranach the Elder in Painting of the First Half of the 16th Century in Bohemia

Hamsíková, Magdaléna January 2011 (has links)
1 Abstract The Acceptance of Works of Lucas Cranach the Elder in Painting of the First Half of the 16th Century in Bohemia The thesis focuses on the personality and works of the Renaissance painter Lucas Cranach the Elder (1472-1553) and the acceptance of his works and works of his workshop in painting in the first half of the 16th century in Bohemia. The art production in Bohemia, analogous to the 15th century, was concentrated in small centres and was mainly directed to the painting of neighbouring, mainly German speaking countries. Traces of Cranach's unmistakable aesthetics could be spotted in the Czech lands from the first decade to the almost seventh decade of the 16th century. The life of Cranach's style was so long because it was prolonged, among others, by his son Lucas Cranach the Younger (1515-1586). We can assert that no other author or his followers was so successful in such a large scale, for such a long period of time nor had customers of broad walks of life as Lucas Cranach the Elder. The reason for this was seen by earlier researchers in mass workshop production and certain "easy acquirement" of his style (Max J. Friedländer) that spread especially from the 1520's outside the borders of the Electorate of Saxony. His works were accepted firstly through his graphic masters, secondly through...

The zero lower bound is a situation with very low nominal overnight interest rates, where central banks don’t have their main monetary policy instrument available to stimulate economic activity. Under these conditions, non-standard policy alternatives are used such as quantitative easing and forward guidance. Japan faces this challenge since the 90s and has been largely using both, but there is still no expectation in the short term to overcome the issue. After a review on the literature, this work investigates the effectiveness of the QEs handled by BOJ with the available data through a VAR and reaches the conclusion that there is no statistical evidence about the desired outcomes. Given the inability to address the low economic growth with inflation within a target, it suggests that works that reach conclusions underpinned by statistical robustness should be subject to Lucas’ critique.

Tracking by Image Processing in a Real Time System / Målföljning genom bildbehandling i ett realtidssystem

Öberg, Per January 2003 (has links)
<p>This master's thesis develops an algorithm for tracking of cars robust enough to handle turning cars. It is implemented in the image processing environment Image Processing Application Programming Interface (IPAPI) for use with the WITAS project. </p><p>Firstly, algorithms, comparable with one currently used in the WITAS-project, are studied. The focus is on how rotation, that originates from the turning of the cars, affects tracking performance. The algorithms studied all perform an exhaustive search over a region, close to the last known position of the object being tracked, to find a match. After this, an iterative algorithm, based on the idea that a car can only rotate, translate and change scale, is introduced. The algorithm estimates the parameters describing this rotation, translation, and change of scale, iteratively. The iterative process needs a initial parameter estimate that is accurate enough for the algorithm to converge. The developed algorithm is based on an earlier publication on the subject, however the mathematical description, and deduction, of it is taken one step further than in this publication. </p><p>The iterative algorithm used performs well under the assumption that the data used fulfills some basic criteria. These demands comprises: placement of camera, template size as well as how the parameters may vary between two observations. The iterative algorithm is also potentially faster than exhaustive search methods, because few iterations are needed when the parameters change slowly. Better initial parameters should improve stability and speed of convergation. Other suggestions that could give better performance is discussed, e.g., methods to better extract the target from the surroundings.</p>

Pappila, Mariett January 2007 (has links)
