Gotická móda v českých zemích ve 14. století. Vývoj oděvních prvků v českých zemích v letech 1330 -1410 / Gothic Fashion in the Czech Lands in the 14th Century. Development of Clothing Features in the Czech Lands in the Years 1330 -1410

Kuběnová, Veronika January 2015 (has links)
1 ABSTRACT This thesis presents a study of a field of everyday culture - medieval fashion and its development during the reign of Charles IV of Luxembourg and his son Wenceslas in the Czech lands in the years 1330 - 1410. As these fashion trends and changes were exhibited primarily through the clothing of nobility, this thesis focuses exclusively on the environs of the aristocracy and royal court. In addition to written sources and archaeological finds, the fine arts also serve to advance our knowledge of Gothic fashion trends, whose works authentically capture the contemporary clothing styles and changes in all of Europe. This thesis therefore examines, through a methodical analysis, how wall paintings, panel paintings and book illuminations of Czech provenance reflect changes in clothing fashions and tastes in courtly environs during the period of time known as Luxembourg Gothic. This study of primary iconographic sources in authentic historical buildings and galleries was further aided by the creation of an extensive photo archive. This thesis presents a representative sampling of the works from this archive which documents a basic transformation of Czech clothing culture and the creation of a Bohemian style of Gothic fashion, culminating at the turn of the 14th and 15th century and enriching European...

Malba Tahan e a revista Al-Karismi: diálogos e possibilidades interdisciplinares com a história da educação matemática no ensino fundamental

Costa, Leonardo Silva 28 August 2015 (has links)
This study, of qualitative nature, aims to contribute to the contextualization of mathematics and history of mathematics education in the teaching and learning of this science from didactic and pedagogical proposals inspired by the teacher's speech Júlio Cesar de Mello e Souza the Malba Tahan the primary source Al-Karismi (1946-1951). The research, on the one hand, proposes a study that source and secondly, a dialogue with educational possibilities for teaching mathematics in elementary school, involving the History of Mathematics Education in an interdisciplinary perspective, using the instruments of Sheets Work and Reporting Assessment with students of the 8th grade of elementary school to a public school in the city of Ituiutaba / MG, articulating aspects that favored teaching and interdisciplinary learning in mathematics. Intended to present results of applying six didactic proposals designed to research, with the analysis of the survey axis categories defined a priori by the possible learning situations in the service of the History of Mathematics, related to the speech of students. The study found that students were involved more with practice teacher, listing some of the terms tahaniano speech to the knowledge built in the classroom. It is believed that the proposal collaborated to build a research environment conducive to the mathematical thinking, its relations with the socio-cultural context of the students and the use of history as a resource that guided and promoted the understanding of subject content, tangential interdisciplinary themes, legitimizing the voice of students as subjects members in the process of teaching and learning and making maths fun, curious and pleasant, in malbatahanico style of being. / Dissertação (Mestrado)

Význam malby a závěsného obrazu v současném výtvarném provozu / Importance of painting and hanging picture in contemporary art scene

Konvalinková, Olga January 2017 (has links)
Master's thesis in all free sections deals with processing colour matter, its possibilities of application in artwork and specifically focusing on gestural and procedual artwork. At first this question is being analyzed from the theoretical point of view, when the thesis is devoted to an overview of selected artists and in their artwork they provide examples of various innovative ways of working with color. Subsequently this gained knowledge is applied in the educational process, where this topic was connected with defined intentions and objectives in the implementation of art assigments. They were held in an art education field teaching practice in primary school, high school and in a private primary art school. The results and data from this practice have been used in a research probe which works with analysis, open coding and conceptual maps. In the conclusion, its findings are summarized in a interpretive report. The thesis also includes author's artwork, which fulfills its illustrative function and personal expression to the topic. It includes both theoretical aspects as well as some knowledge of didactics. The artwork is aswell conceived as self-verifying of non-traditional techniques and even own point of view of the world.

Vitráže Františka Urbana / František Urban's Stained Glass

Cachová, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
František Urban (1868-1919) devoted himself mainly to religious painting, the majority of his production was commissioned by the Church. Among these, the least attention has been dedicated to his stained glass designs, with the exception of his most famous complex in the Cathedral of St Barbara in Kutná Hora. However, these designs were held in high regard among the commissioners and Urban drew them for almost twenty churches and chapels. The supreme phase of his production was caught and can be now accessed in a representative publication of his designs for churches, published 1907-1909 in two parts. Urban's style has been classified as Art Nouveau; it is, however, only a simplistic description. Urban used older elements and composition schemes, brought by the Nazarenes at the beginning of 19th century. These he repurposed for the Art Noveau style, using the typical flatness and delicate colouring, idealization, ornamental elements in the fashion of that time, and most of all the then so popular folklore motifs. Urban's wife, Marie Urbanová- Zahradnická, contributed to some of the ornamental elements. This thesis attempts to assemble Urban's stained glass complexes and the knowledge about them, and to put them into the context of other painters who created their stained glass designs in a similar...

Nástěnná malba v městském prostředí 16. a počátku 17. století na pomezí Čech a Moravy / Mural paintings in the urban environment on the borderland between Bohemia and Moravia in 16th and beginning of 17th century

Hamrlová, Anna January 2019 (has links)
Mural paintings in the urban environment in 16th and beginning of 17th century has been rather an ignored topic, however its artistic interpretation and iconographic concept says a lot about the life of residents during Renaissance. The art phenomenon in this work was studied on the borderland between Bohemia and Moravia, currently the place of Havlíčkův Brod, Pelhřimov and Jihlava districts. At the same time, this division facilitated systematic research and listing of surviving paintings. First, the study focuses on the summary of a colourful historical situation in the given place and religious affairs related in particular, but not only to the New Utraquism and Lutheranism which followed up local Utraquist foundations from the Hussite Era. One of the aims of the work is to study the relationship between religion and artistic or iconographic interpretation of paintings. Selected artistic sources related in particular to the graphic works of that time play also important role. This is why other chapters are dedicated to the study of the theory of art of mural paintings, urban houses abroad and in the concerned location, study of sacral interiors within the context of the Saxon environment, and the last chapter deals with the thematic and iconographic study of collected paintings. The results...
