Sledování populace zimujících kalousů ušatých (Asio otus) na území ČR / Monitoring of the Wintering Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) in the Czech Republic Territory

Moravcová, Alberta January 2018 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with the monitoring of the Long-eared Owl (Asio otus) on the wintering grounds in Kladno Kročehlavy between 2015 and 2017. The monitoring is focused on spatial activity linked to food sources and food analysis. The research aimed at finding out whether the maximum distance of night overflight is within five kilometers from the night shelter. Another focus was on the discovery of the variability of the food supply in relation to the weather over the past 10 years and the comparison of the data with the results of the already published works. Several methods were used in the research. Method of observation, capture into impact ornithological nets, ringing, collection and analysis of pellets and modern method of GPS telemetry. Using mentioned methods, it was found that the maximum distance of overflights linked to food sources is not only within five kilometers from the night shelter. These distances may vary in length. The research managed to track the overflight less than 30 kilometers away. Further findings on the content of food supply and weather showed that there has been only slight variation in the occurrence of the main boar loot in the last ten years. KEYWORDS Long-eared Owl (Asio otus), frequency, telemetry, night shelter, migration, monitoring

Suburbanizace venkovského prostoru (případová studie Dolní Třebonín). / Suburbanization of rural space (case study of the village Dolní Třebonín)

DRŠKOVÁ, Markéta January 2015 (has links)
This diploma work consists of two parts. The theoretic part literary summary deals with the question of suburbanization and the practical part, in which the survey of suburbanization in model area Dolní Třebonín was conducted. In the theoretical part, I firstly mention the types of suburbanization, where we can distinguish residential and commercial suburbanization. Secondly I talk about phases of urbanization process. The previously mentioned suburbanization is a second phases. Then I focus on consequences of suburbanization, which are mostly negative. Due to the fact that process of suburbanization can be regulated I also describe some influential people and institutions that can reduce the negative effects. For a better imagination of developing suburbanization in Czech Republic I also describe the actual situation of this process. In the last chapter of literary summary I point at the problems of migration, which is closely connected with the process of suburbanization. Practical part contains the description of model area and also the evaluation of results taken out of the questionnaire survey. The newly checked results were used to indicate the impacts of suburbanization in the researched area, which was the main aim of my diploma work.

Druhé bydlení v oblasti středního toku Lužnice jako předstupeň amenitní migrace / Second homes in Lužnice river area as the first stage for amenity migration

ŠAŠKOVÁ, Dominika January 2016 (has links)
The presented diploma thesis deals with the phenomenon of the second homes in the area around the middle stream of the river Luznice. The trend of second homes is closely connected mainly to rural tourism. Currently the number of people living in the countryside is decreasing, this leads to increasing depopulation of the countryside. Development of rural tourism and second homes, which can be described as a precursor of amenity migration can alleviate the depopulation of the Czech countryside. Those two terms: second homes and amenity migration are very frequently overlapped in our conditions so it is difficult to determine the clear border between them. The second housing represents the way of spending the free time and so it can by stated as a complex phenomena and processes connected to a recreational object, most frequently represented by a cabin or a weekend house. Some users of second homes may decide to move into their second houses permanently. In this case we call this the amenity migration. This type of migration is the movement of people from an urban area in to rural areas. The amenity migration can be understood as a migration for better environment, peace, the desire to be closer to nature and the desire for a better quality of life in general.

Strategie bezpečnosti České republiky v otázce mezinárodní migrace v důsledku regionálních konfliktů v euroatlantickém prostoru a okolí / Security strategy of the Czech Republic in relation to international migration in cause of instability and regional conflicts in and around the Euro-Atlantic area.

KORČÁKOVÁ, Simona January 2016 (has links)
The theoretical part presents the various international organizations dealing with the security situation in Europe and also the immigration policy of the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. Immigration policy in Germany is included on the grounds that in 2015 it was Germany that has become a country facing the greatest influx of migrants, to the point where the number of registered asylum seekers in the local asylum system exceeded 1 million. Germany, unlike the Czech Republic, has long-term experience in the area of asylum and immigration policy. Moreover, it tries to approach the immigration in a positive way, among others in an effort to fill gaps in the labour market. Germany takes providing assistance to people fleeing war as a moral obligation, and urges other countries to show the same solidarity. As a member state of the European Union and other organizations, the Czech Republic must act according to the rules that international communities enforce, thereby it surrenders, to some extent, its sovereignty when taking the relevant decisions. The aim of present work was to determine threats posed by the acceptance of immigrants and to propose ways to minimize these threats. A secondary aim was to compare the system of refugee reception in the Czech Republic and abroad, particularly in the Land of Bavaria, Germany, that the migration wave in 2015 affected the most of all federal states. In order to obtain the documents necessary to achieve the objectives, we started working with the landlord of an accommodation facility intended for applicants of international protection, in Goldbach (Germany). There we tracked the asylum and integration process of accommodated refugees. To compare the approach in the Czech Republic, we chose the progress and development of the Czech project Generation 21 on the resettlement of Iraqi refugees into the country. Additional information was drawn through lectures and panel discussions with experts on this issue. All the data contributed to answering the research question: whether the strategy of the Czech Republic in terms of receiving refugees has any perspective. The chapter "Results" is devoted to the EU's efforts to create a new, more efficient mechanism that would respond more flexibly than the current system of migration and asylum policy in the EU. In May 2015, the EU submitted to its Member States the "European Programme for Migration", that among others proposed so much publicly discussed mechanism of relocation, resettlement, and hotspot system and return policy. In this case, the work evaluated the proposal, using statistical data obtained from the official databases of the EU, and also thanks to the contribution of Czech experts. In addition, this chapter presents statistical data describing the process of migration waves in 2015, which are interlaced with actual data obtained directly from selected immigrants. The first reference to the applicant for international protection in Germany were foreigners from Iraq and Ethiopia, who, a half a year later, were joined by nationals from Syria. The research at the site showed the real functioning of migration and asylum system. 30 % of all asylum applicants from across the EU headed to Germany. The priority of this country was particularly its asylum policy. The Czech Republic, as a transit country with a share of less than 1% of applicants, focused on the control of illegal migration. This position was one of the factors that led to the failure of the project Generation 21. In the course of the operation this project resettled 89 refugees from Iraq, more than half of whom then renounced the asylum in order to travel to Germany. It is the secondary movement of immigrants that is threatening the existence of the Schengen area and points out the unsatisfactory effectiveness of the mechanisms proposed by the EU.

Demografická analýza regionu Kutná Hora se zaměřením na sociální služby / Demographic analysis with specialized on social services in Kutná Hora Region

Váňová, Barbora January 2016 (has links)
The thesis deals with the demographic analysis of Kutná Hora region, with a focus on social services in the years 2005-2014. Between the monitored demographic indicators include the status and structure of the population, birth rate, mortality rate, rates of marriage, the divorce rate, migration and related indicators. The indicators were selected on the basis of their impact on social services. The values of the selected indicators of the region are also compared with the values of the whole of the Czech Republic. Most of the indicators of the region has the same trend as the average of the values of the Czech Republic, but there are even specific differences that characterize the region under consideration. All the data needed to draw up an analysis has been collected from the Czech Statistical Office. To assess the development of the various demographic indicators have been used by the elementary characteristics of the time series and the trend function. The prediction was made after the selected demographic indicators of the region of Kutná Hora in the year 2015 and 2016, which have a particular impact on social services. Furthermore, an analysis was made of the current state of social services in the region, where he was examined, the number of providers of social services, including their capacity. On the basis of the results of the analyses are in the conclusion drawn up proposals and recommendations for possible improvement of the situation in the framework of the social services in the region of Kutná Hora.

Legální a nelegální migrace cizinců na území České republiky / Legal and illegal migration foreigners on territory the Czech Republik

HAIS, Lukáš January 2007 (has links)
The paper I put forward is supposed to inform reader with problems of legal and illegal stay of foreigners in Czech Republic with regard to European union. First we will deal with a law about stay of foreigners on the land of Czech Republic and a law about asylum. This norms are thanks to our subject one of the most important and it{\crq}s necessary to have a good orientation in it. All stays of foreigners in our country is being governed by these laws. Fundamental part of this paper will deal with secondary analysis of data of legal and illegal migration on soil of Czech Republic with regard to EU. A part of this paper dealing with the law about stay of foreigners on the land of Czech Republic will structure for us a different kinds of stays of foreigners in Czech, that will be later splitted up and individually described. In that description we will find information who and under what conditions and from whom one can obtain the permit, what is it{\crq}s purpose, on the other hand also when, why and who can the permit cancel. In this part you can also find repressive steps in case of breaking this law. Also we mention asylum which is often being used to {\clqq}legalize`` the stay. With regard to the title of this paper you can also find here a part about European Union that describes and explains some of the basic, historical, functional and other information about EU. Basic information disclose for example the size, number of inhabitants, national anthem and other. Historical information describe the origin and development of EU. Functional information describe basic principles of functionality of different departments of EU. Secondary data analysis of legal and illegal migration of foreigners in Czech with regard to EU is the core of this paper. This part intends to inform the reader in whole about numbers, nationalities and other data about legal and illegal stay of foreigners in Czech Republic with regard to EU. Also here you can find all the data of all categories of foreigners in Czech in the year of entry to EU compared to the numbers of foreigners in Czech in the previous year. Data are analyzed from the ground, documentations and researches of Ministry of the Interior, Head Department of Police and Foreign Police. Precedence describe some cases of legal and illegal stays in Czech Republic. Some of the cases are very typical, other unique. Thanks to them you can get a concrete idea about real legal and illegal stays of foreigners in Czech Republic.

Mechanismus vzniku perinukleárních aktinových mikrofilament a jejich funkce v buněčné motilitě / The assembly of perinuclear actin stress fibers and their role in cell movement

Votavová, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
Nucleus is the largest cellular organelle in animal cells. Due to its bulky nature and the stiffness of nuclear lamina the nucleus constitutes the substantial problem for migrating cells where nucleus has to move. The actomyosin generated forces and LINC (Linker of Nucleoskeleton and Cytoskeleton) complex, that is composed of SUN and nesprin proteins, play key role in nuclear movement. LINC complex mechanically couples nuclear lamina to the cytoskeleton and allows the forces exerted by the cytoskeleton to move the nucleus. Perinuclear actin fibers, also termed actin cap, mechanically link focal adhesions with nucleus and they may generate forces that position the nucleus in a way that is optimal for cellular movement. However, molecular mechanism of how perinuclear actin fibers and LINC complex orchestrate the nuclear movement and functional significance of this process remain poorly understood. The specific aim was to determine the mechanisms by which perinuclear actin fibers are formed and how are these mechanisms employed to facilitate cell migration. The role of LPA-RhoA signaling axis and LINC complex in the formation of perinuclear actin fibers was also examined. It was confirmed that LPA is essencial stimulus during actin cap formation. On the other hand, FAK kinase was found necessary for...

České stopy v Gorné Orjachovici v Bulharsku / Czech Traces in Gorna Orjahovica in Bulgary

Lančová, Tereza January 2018 (has links)
(in English): The thesis focuses on the Czech sugar factory in Gorna Oryahovitsa in northern Bulgaria, especially on the workers' colony which existed between 1912 and 1948 when the company was being put under state control. The paper provides a comprehensive report on the circumstances of the origin, development and current condition of the sugar factory and the colony. The study puts the specific instance of the Czech minority in Gorna Oryahovitsa into a wider context of the Czech migration into Bulgaria. It also provides a comprehensive picture of the Czech colony and its inhabitants, bringing new insights into their lifestyle, activities and contacts with the major society. The core of this work is to use written and pictorial materials. Therefore, the basic methodological approach was to search, collect and record the materials that in some way affected the Czech sugar factory and the colony, both in Bohemia and Bulgaria. These materials were first analyzed and then organized to create meaningful frameworks for subsequent interpretation.
