Projektet utgår från två böcker; Momo-eller kampen om tiden av Michael Ende och Ojämlikhetens nya geografi av David Harvey. De två böckerna har varit motorer för hur en ny cirkushall i Alby för Cirkör utformats. Rummen som Momo rör sig genom i berättelsen har fått stå som förebilder för det givna programmets rum, Harveys bok har sedan bredatt projektet i en mer teoretisk riktning; det är mer än bara den fysiska byggnaden som avgör hur vi förstår byggnaden.

In the theoretical part, this diploma thesis deals with a literary analysis and comparison of books Momo, Timm Thaler, or the Traded Laughter and The Thief Lord. The pieces of work are analysed on the basis of their common features. Such features include the main characters, and the magical motifs which affect real life situations. The partial subjects of observation are film versions of the works. The thesis is concluded by the practical part addressing a didactic adaptation of the novel Momo; including worksheets and other teaching aids designed for pupils of elementary schools and grammar schools. The teaching aids are based on the theory and involve a didactic analysis, methodical analysis and time plans for their utilization in German language classes. Momo Kapor: Magija Beograda - komentovaný překlad povídkového cyklu / Momo Kapor: Magija Beograda - commented rendition of a narrative cycle

Short story cycle Magija Beograda (2008, The Magic of Belgrade, Czech anthology Belgrade, my magic love!, 2014) is one of the last works of Serbian author Momo Kapor. His subject matter is contemporary picture of Belgrade and characters in his work are people, who are emotionally bound to this city. The aim of this dissertation is to introduce a Czech translation of the short stories and their translatological commentary. This work deals with the theme of Belgrade work of Kapor, which the author engaged in throughout his whole life and wrote in this style for more than ten years. This area of his work still does not have a Czech literary translation. This dissertation also brings more coherent author's portrait. Pivotal part consists of two chapters, first one is devoted to the profile of the author and the second one to the translation and commentary.
