Motivační aspekty vedení osobního blogu / Motivational aspects of running a personal blog

The principal aim of this thesis is to examine motivations for running a personal blog among the Czech adult blogger population. The theoretical part covers the charakteristics of blog as a form of virtual interpersonal communication and explores the historical development and the current status of the Czech blogosphere, with regard to potential motives that it reflects. Furthermore, it introduces motivational theories associated with the production of blog content and specific motivational factors based on previous research both in the Czech and foreign countries. In addition, it examines motivation for blogging in terms of characteristics of bloggers such as age, gender and personality. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a combined research design of a questionnaire. The exploratory factor analysis has discovered seven key motivational factors: Harmony and introspection, Self-actualization, Socialisation, Profit, Information spreading, Broadening one's horizons and Documentation. The first four factors show a negative correlation with age. Women are more motivated by Harmony and introspection, Socialisation and Profit than men. The motive of Broadening one's horizons increases during the bloggers' career. The results are accompanied by qualitative insight.

This dissertation thesis is focused on problems of multimedia and e-learning and their use in chemistry education. In the theoretical part the knowledge dealing with problems of motivation, possibilities of connecting computer technics and multimedia into the educational process, requirements putting on authors of electronical materials and their users are summarized. Questions of knowledge testing and didactics tests production are also mentioned. In the practical part the description of the properties, possibilities and instructions of the use of the educational multimedia computer systems "School as a game", "Qualitative analysis" and "Nobel Prizes in chemistry" is carried out. These programs are determined for pupils of primary and secondary schools and students of universities preparing expectant teachers of chemistry. All this educational systems contain always sets of tests for curriculum training and certification of knowledge gained using above mentioned systems. The important part of the dissertation thesis is the clearly processed evaluation of pupils an students testing. This thesis is focused on a motivation and a reward system in an organization which has a location in the South Bohemia region and it has 1425 employees. I made a questionnaire survey based on an answers from the respondents. In the first part of the thesis, the topic of remuneration of motivational resources is from several authors who deal with. They are many explanations about basic terms, the difference between motivation and stimulation, the type of motivation, the employees reward system, or what a professional manager should be like, who must properly motivate employees to perform well. The second part is the practical part, where I chose the company which I analyzed. I received 81 answers about the motivation and the reward system. How satisfied the employees are in the company, or what they want to change.

Many countries including the Czech Republic struggle with consistent recruitment of good and motivated candidates to choose a career in education. Low percentage of new and young teachers intending to make teaching their lifelong career is also noticeable. This thesis will analyse and evaluate different teacher training approaches, specialist training routes in particular, with regard to their efficiency in acquisition of new applicants and maintenance of motivation throughout a lifelong career in education. This thesis will infer the efficiency of each teacher training system by a comparative analysis of teacher training systems in Finland and The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The diploma thesis deals with a healthy lifestyle in the elderly. The main goal of the thesis is to determine the elderly's attitudes about physical activity and healthy eating. The results of the research show that the respondents are a very heterogeneous group and their attitudes towards healthy lifestyle are different. Respondents do not have bad habits due to uninformation, but probably because of lack of motivation. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and explorative one. There are four chapters in the theoretical part. First, the old age and ageing are described. According to the relevant literature there are summarized the changes that are associated with this life stage. Attention is focused on the quality of life and the perception of satisfaction in old age. The work is a summary of important documents that deal with the quality of life and deserve improvement. The thesis summarizes the important documents that deal with the quality of life and improve it. The main pillars of a healthy lifestyle for each age category are proper physical activity and nutritionally balanced diet. 5 ABSTRACT This diploma thesis deals with exercise motivation for 4th and 5th graders, using mobile application The theoretical part of the thesis deals with physical ability of children about 10 years old. It describes motor development of younger school-age children. It focuses on the specifics of school maturity and children's needs. It points out consequences of lack of physical activity. It deals with motivation. It researches leisure activities for children and organizations involved in them. In the practical part, the thesis uses survey to answer question. How much free time children spend using mobile phone and what kind of application they use. It offers list of application with a methodology of use and overlapping into the school environment. The list of applications serves for teachers, educators or parents, as a guide to active leisure activities with children using modern technology. A research of foraging represents a relatively new phenomenon abroad. In Czechia, on the other hand, this is an ordinary issue with a long-time tradition, but until recently it has not received much attention by the scientific community. For this reason, the following diploma thesis deals with this activity. It consists of two main units. The first part aims to create the theoretical framework necessary for the introduction into the foraging study. It includes a familiarization with the trend of the self-provisioning in general both in Czechia and abroad. A substantial part of the theoretical framework deals with the quantity and the typology of harvested products, the reasons for foraging, the characteristics of the harvesters, etc. It also outlines the problem of western academics' interpretation of foraging in post-communist conditions as a survival strategy. In the second part, using the mixed research methods, the thesis seeks to find out what is the tradition of foraging in Czech conditions during recent decades, who are the harvesters and what are the reasons and motivations to harvest. Předmětem diplomové práce je analýza pracovní spokojenosti a motivace pomocí dotazníkového šetření, blíže je výzkum zaměřen na aspekty interní komunikace a osobnost vedoucího pracovníka - manažera. Na základě výsledků výzkumu a jejich porovnání s realitou jsou navržena opatření ke zlepšení stávajícího stavu. Tato opatření se týkají zejména komunikace s pracovníky ze strany vedení společnosti, výběru, rozvoje a užívaného stylu řízení u vedoucích pracovníků a kariérního růstu a rozvoje. Práce je rozdělena do pěti základních kapitol. Úvodní kapitola charakterizuje problematiku, stanovuje cíle práce a pracovní hypotézy, představuje zvolenou metodiku. Další část je věnovaná teorii, objasňuje základní pojmy z oblasti pracovní spokojenosti a motivace, shrnuje nejvýznamnější teoretické přístupy. Po stručné charakteristice podniku následuje samotná analýza dat a jejich následná interpretace. Poslední kapitola zabývá celkovým shrnutím výsledků, ověřením stanovených hypotéz a již zmiňovanými opatřeními ke zlepšení stávající situace.

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku spokojenosti zaměstnanců. Hlavním cílem této práce je provést analýzu spokojenosti zaměstnanců v konkrétní mezinárodní společnosti a odhalit potenciální zdroje nespokojenosti. Návazným cílem je navrhnout možná opatření, která by mohla tyto nedostatky odstranit a zvýšit pracovní spokojenost zaměstnanců. Teoretické východisko této práce obsahuje vymezení pojmu pracovní spokojenost a dále se zaměřuje především na jednotlivé teorie pracovní spokojenosti a motivace. V této části jsou taktéž popsány konkrétní faktory, které mají vliv na pracovní spokojenost. V další části této práce byl popsán metodický postup, který byl použit k rozboru pracovní spokojenosti. Popsána byla metoda získání dat i postup jejich zpracování. V praktické části byla učiněna charakteristika respondentů a zkoumané instituce. Následuje analýza výsledků šetření a návrh možných opatření.
