The aim of this study is to analyze employee incentive in a select company according to various criteria. The first part of the study is focused on motivational stimuli, motivation theories, motivation program and other theoretical bases related to this issue. Based on these results were analyzed and compared current motivation incentives within a company by using a questionnaire. The aim of this questionnaire was to examine motivational triggers and current employee experiences. All obtained results compiled and concluded into recommendations.

This thesis deals with the issue of employee benefits and their role in motivating workers. The aim is to assess which factors encourage people to achieve better outcomes in their job and whether benefits belong to them. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to theoretical knowledge of motivation. The basic principles of motivational theories are explained there more in detail. The second chapter deals with employee benefits, their types and significance for the company and employees. The practical part includes an analysis of employee benefits in the company GlaxoSmithKline. The conclusion of the thesis is based on results of a questionnaire survey regarding motivation and of interviews, in which some possible links between the benefits and motivation were examined.

This diploma thesis focuses on verifying the proposed inquiry-based activity and comparing its effectiveness with a traditionally concieved theme for experimental activity of pupils with the same topic. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the role of experimental activities in Czech schools, their options, helpful equipment and generally inquiry-based teaching. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the verification of the proposed research activity in comparison with traditionally concieved experimental activity. The traditionally concieved activity was taken from the website of the company Vernier, the research activity was created by modifying these tasks. The proposed research activity consists of two logically connected tasks. The aim of this thesis was to design and verify research activity based on experimental activities and to compare the internal motivation of pupils in performing research-oriented and clasically concieved activities. The pupils worked in groups that were created based on the pupils' preferred themes. For comparison purposes, the groups were divided into two research halves and each half used a different approach. The aim of this thesis is to find out which areas of further education teachers prefer and which they would use in practice, to compare the relation between the personal choice of the teacher and the necessary reality and to identify teachers' motivation for further education as well as its current conditions. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and describes the issue of further education of teachers in legislation. It identifies education policy strategies. It compares teacher training in past and present times. It characterizes contemporary forms of teachers' further education and also mentions its problems. In the research part the author examines the preferred areas of further education of teachers at his school in the form of a questionnaire survey, and at the same time compares the situation between the personal choice of the teacher and reality. Semi-structured interviews with teachers identify their motivation and current conditions for further education. The survey could provide feedback to the school management.

For my diploma thesis I chose the topic of education of nurses in intensive care. In the field of nursing education, it was necessary to respond to new trends in the European Union. In recent years, the situation in the field of education has changed in many ways. Act No. 201/2017 Coll. it has brought a novelty that the credit system of education has been abolished and it is therefore possible to conclude that the motivation of nurses to education may have fallen. The theoretical part describes the history of intensive care in the world and in the Czech Republic. Mentioned is the history of nursing education in intensive care and the history of nursing education in the Czech Republic. The next chapter points to the current situation of intensive care, the requirements for qualification education of a nurse and the competence of a nurse specialist. The possibilities of intensive care education, including lifelong learning, are being announced. An integral part is the motivation chapter. The main aim of my thesis was to find out the motivation of nurses to specialize in intensive care. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate importance of benefits in reward system in a selected company and to recommend steps that would lead to increased efficiency of their use. In the first part of this thesis there is a comprehensive look at the remuneration strategy, which consists of cash compensation and employee benefits. After definining the concept of benefits I concentrated on their structuring from different perspectives. The main part of the theoretical part is aimed to evaluate of different types of benefits. At the end of this section I describe current trends in the area of employee benefits. In the first section of the practical part of the thesis I mentioned a short characterization of the selected company. The practical part aims to analyze the provided benefits. Employee benefits system is divided into the following areas: vocational and language training, benefits and housing stabilization policy. I also evaluate importance of the current system of providing employee benefits in the selected company by conducting of satisfaction surveys. The conclusion focuses on the suggestion of possible improvements that would increase efficiency in the provision of benefits.

There are many methods and management techniques, and given that competition strengthens significantly, it is necessary to introduce new management trends and elements. Prepared management is not afraid to go to change and achieve long-term strategic objectives. The aim of this study is to analyze the methods and techniques used by the proceedings of company and from the findings propose measures that would improve the current situation and contribute to the effectiveness of activities carried out and control systems. The research results showed that both organizations are applying modern techniques in management, the differences are minimal. Companies are approaching a general trend in the use of a participatory management style. The research results demonstrate that in the managerial positions are also women. The two companies does not competitive analysis. There are appeals for a change. In conclusion, the two companies pay attention to management systems, and are aware of the managers? mission in modern company.
