It has as reference the materiality of the Land Education - LE, in the perspective to analyze the formative process, outlined on the tension exercised on bourgeois state, so that it ensures the universality of the rights to education also for the people from the land. The present research considered the proposition, the creation and the configuration of the graduation course of Pedagogy for Educators of the Land, Class I, from UNIOESTE and this analyzes perspective allowed the comprehension of the trajectory of the LE, considering its history, its theoretical bases and its practices on the formation of the land educators, whose process was developed in this graduation course, organized from the regime of the interchange that consist in time/space course-school and time/space community-school of the land. The study object was getting enlarged in the dimension that was being indentified with the class struggle. In this way, the trajectory of the present research permitted understand the fight for an LE, as a propose that is being materialized through the collective struggle and the education practice of the people from the field, through Popular Social Movements from the Land - PSML, in the perspective to ensure rights. This panorama make us reflect about the process that population from the land have been effected as protagonists, process that, from the collective experience in the context of classes struggles, explicit their formative character. This dissertation is organized in three chapters. In the first one, the elaboration followed the characterization of the movement of the reality that generated the struggle for an LE, achievement that permitted the formulation of some goals that were denominated as boundaries of LE, that later, produced a necessary contour to comprehend the trajectory and the actuality of a struggle for an LE in Brazil. In the second chapter, the way of elaboration passed to identify the conception of formation that orients the LE underneath the point of view of PSML, that gets fundamentally firmed in the conception of Popular Education and the Pedagogy Soviet Socialist. In the third chapter, based on the experience of the referent group, it was researched the process of proposition, creation and configuration of the course, elements that set the formative process. Under these considerations were retaken the trajectory of land educators formation from Paraná State and, the main elements about the formative process, unleashing for the formation of Antonio Gramsci Group, the point that permitted the positioning in defense and in struggle for consolidation of a formation propose of land educators in graduations courses.

Gesture analysis through a computer’s audio interface: The Audio-Input Drum

Nevile, Ben 11 December 2007 (has links)
When people first started to use digital technology to generate music, they were thrilled with their new ability to create novel and different sounds; accordingly, much research effort has been directed towards rich and complex methods of sound synthesis. Unfortunately the deep physical connection that exists between a musician and an instrument has not received as much attention, and so although we have machines capable of synthesizing fantastic new sounds, we don’t have the ability to use these sounds with any immediate finesse, of developing virtuosity with our new instruments. The work presented in this thesis is an exciting step towards a more dynamic future for computer-based musical performance. The Radio Drum was designed in 1987 at AT&T labs as a prototype of a three-dimensional mouse. Max Mathews later repurposed the apparatus as a musical instrument known as the Radio Baton, which in its most modern form outputs data using the MIDI protocol. The result of this work, a new system called the Audio-Input Drum, provides high-resolution gesture capture, a simplified apparatus, and access to the extremely flexible Max/MSP/Jitter real-time software signal processing environment.

Dynamiques territoriales et offre de soins : l’implantation des maisons de santé en France métropolitaine / Territorial’s dynamics and health care : localisation of primary care team in metropolitan France

Chevillard, Guillaume 30 October 2015 (has links)
France faces an old and persistent problem, which is geographical imbalance of general practitioners. This uneven distribution grows at a steady pace due to less attractive areas. New urban and rural areas are emerging with limited access to primary health care, while existing ones grow even bigger. Since 2008, the liberal primary care team (PCT) are financially supported by the public authorities. They hope this structure will attract and retain general practitioner in the aforementioned areas. This study aims to explore how the space and the territory contribute to the localisation of PCT and how these structures affect spaces and territories. Localisation and impact of PCT are studied at different level, using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Spatial analysis of PCT is based on several tools such as SIG and typology in synergy with field investigation in two French regions. Effects of PCT on general practitioner density are studied on a national scale comparing the evolution of this density in space with PCT and similar space without PCT. The results are completed with field investigation.

Rozvoj lidských zdrojů ve strategii malých a středních podniků

ATTLOVÁ, Irena January 2018 (has links)
This doctoral thesis is focused on human resource development in strategy of small and medium-sized enterprises. Human resource development is conceptualized very widely in the thesis, because the thesis is concerning with issues still less frequently investigated in relation to human resource development, especially the compliance with the principle of equal treatment and the prohibition of discrimination in employment relations. Traditional division into theoretical and practical part is respected in the thesis. Theoretical part contains literature review, broadly describing fundamental disciplinary knowledge, which was elaborated on the basis of long-term studying the scientific writings of many domestic and foreign authors. Theoretical part of the thesis was initial for composing the practical part of the thesis; it was used as a base for the research objectives defining (Chapter 3), served as a guideline on scientific methodology studying and subsequent appropriate methodology and methods selection (Chapter 4), which continues with three practical research topics: staff motivation, employee turnover and job satisfaction in SMEs, and discrimination at the workplace and in staffing regard to SMEs. These areas are meant to be potential barriers of human resource development, unless managed carefully with erudition. Potential occurrence of discrimination in labour law issues brings a risk of sanctions and pecuniary penalty for employers. Research questions, which were formulated according to above mentioned basis by author of this doctoral thesis in the practical part within set research topics, were tested on empirical data by way of both quantitative and qualitative research in two research samples. First of them was gained within team research project GA JU 039/2013/S (investigator doc. Ing. Darja Holátová, Ph.D.) and comprised of 295 SMEs, which were investigated through questionnaire survey; subsequently motivation, employee turnover and job satisfaction on collected data were investigated by author of doctoral thesis. The second sample was investigated by author of this thesis at her own research activity and consisted of 1600 advertisements demanding applicants for 2981 working places at 846 entities, which were announced by regional bureau of Employment Service of the Czech republic for district České Budějovice via the Integrated Portal of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech republic (2016) on the webpage portal.mpsv.cz; the prevalence of discriminatory reasons through content analysis was explored and the findings were consequently compared with the survey of the Public Defender of Rights realized in 2011. Finally, the inquiry for the participation of SMEs in announcing job advertisements where discriminatory nature could not be excluded from in studied period was carried out through selecting gender as discriminatory reason. A discovery of the range of employee benefits provided in SMEs, employee turnover rate calculated by author, additionally including voluntary departures of employees, as well as obtained findings about managers' or enterprise owners' attitudes and subjective rating of job satisfaction in studied SMEs were analysed by author of the thesis. The findings have also revealed an insufficient strategic attitude of some approached managers or enterprise owners towards making plans and setting the goals in the area of job satisfaction. Additionally, it was found that SMEs participated in announcing job advertisements where discriminatory nature could not be excluded in studied period along to the criterion of Czech Public Defender of the Rights in the issue of direct discrimination by reason of a gender. On the basis of acquired findings the conclusions and recommendations were formulated. The thesis brings theoretical, practical and pedagogical contribution. In conclusion, the objectives set in the thesis, were, in the author's opinion, accomplished.

Vstup českých malých a středních podniků na čínský trh / Czech Small and Medium Enterprises Entering the Chinese Market

Bizoňová, Jana January 2013 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with Czech economic diplomacy as an instrument or rather tool of the foreign policy of the Czech Republic to promote its economic interests and goals in the People´s Republic of China. Specifically, it deals with the state pro-export policy and state support of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the process of entering Chinese market. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter explores the concept of economic diplomacy and the models of the governance of economic diplomacy in the world as well as in the Czech Republic. The second chapter focuses on the realization of the Czech economic diplomacy in China, analyzes the Czech-Chinese foreign trade and the development of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries. The third chapter is devoted to the SMEs and their penetration of the Chinese market. It explains the importance of the SMEs to the Czech economy and export and defines the phases of the penetration. In this chapter, the author examines how the state supports the SMEs entering the Chinese market and whether this support covers all phases of this complex process. Finally, the author explains why SMEs are not satisfied with the state support of export and outlines possible solutions.

Recent Approaches to Real-Time Notation

Shafer, Seth 05 1900 (has links)
This paper discusses several compositions that use the computer screen to present music notation to performers. Three of these compositions, Law of Fives (2015), Polytera II (2016), and Terraformation (2016–17), employ strategies that allow the notation to change during the performance of the work as the product of composer-regulated algorithmic generation and performer interaction. New methodologies, implemented using Cycling74's Max software, facilitate performance of these works by allowing effective control of generation and on-screen display of notation; these include an application called VizScore, which delivers notation and conducts through it in real-time, and a development environment for real-time notation using the Bach extensions and graphical overlays around them. These tools support a concept of cartographic composition, in which a composer maps a range of potential behaviors that are mediated by human or algorithmic systems or some combination of the two. Notational variation in performance relies on computer algorithms that can both generate novel ideas and be subject to formal plans designed by the composer. This requires a broader discussion of the underlying algorithms and control mechanisms in the context of algorithmic art in general. Terraformation, for viola and computer, uses a model of the performer's physical actions to constrain the algorithmic generation of musical material displayed in on-screen notation. The resulting action-based on-screen notation system combines common practice notation with fingerboard tablature, color gradients, and abstract graphics. This hybrid model of dynamic notation puts unconventional demands on the performer; implications of this new performance practice are addressed, including behaviors, challenges, and freedoms of real-time notation.

Vnější aktérství Evropské komise prostřednictvím podpory internacionalizace malých a středních podniků: Institucionální analýza Rámcového programu pro konkurenceschopnost (CIP), 2002-2009 / Strenghtening European Commission's external actorness through internationalisation of SMEs: An institutional analysis of Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), 2002-2009

Trnka, Jan January 2015 (has links)
European Union faced several external challenges in the beginning of the 21st century. Its enlargement to 24 member states led to a state of dissimilar and not well interconnected economies in need of a new model of external competitiveness. Finding the model and, more importantly, delivering it on community level, was a new task of the European Commission, especially after re-launch of the Lisbon strategy in 2005. Yet, there was another challenge for EU that was not so easy to address by the Commission: the relative weakening of EU's external economic action comparing to new increasingly assertive policies of other international players, especially BRICs. Was it possible for the Commission focus only on supporting EU competitiveness without any external action, as was expected by articles of the Treaty of Nice? As the thesis argues, indeed there was an external action of the Commission before the Lisbon treaty, through its public support of SME internationalization within the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP). A neoinstitutional analysis of the issues on two levels is carried out: Firstly on the level of European institutions (motives, relevant contexts and institutional rules), secondly, on the level of secondary actors (SMEs, NGOs, CIP executive agency EACI), where the...

Interaktiv musikkomposition / Interactive Music Composition

Andersson, Anders-Petter January 2012 (has links)
This dissertation, titled Interactive Music Composition, is a practice based Ph.D. thesis in the field of Musicology. The purpose is to explore if and how one can compose computer based interactive music, that is musically satisfying for an interacting audience, consisting of both laymen and skilled musicians. The text describes the design and reflection in two interactive music installations: Do-Be-DJ, open-air installation in a public park, and, Mufi, with modular and moveable interface. Based on methods and perspectives in Musicology and Interaction Design, a composition model for interactive music is developed. The model investigates the experience dimensions listen, explore, compose and collaborate. It also investigates the design dimensions of interaction, narrative structure, composition rule and sound node. The conceptual approach is to apply improvisation and composition methods from jazz, pop and groove based music on interactive music. It also uses the concepts of openess in musical structures and interpretation, musical mediation of actions and meaning and everyday use of music, when composing interactive music. The dissertation contributes to an understanding of how to create composition techniques for interactive music, such as: Direct, varied and shifting response. It reflects on the change in meaning of the musicological terms composition, improvisation, musical work, listener, musician and audience. And on the interaction design terms interaction, gameplay, system and user. The term co-creator is used to describe an actively, interacting and collaborating person, to complement traditional terms like audience, performer and user. / <p>Ljudfiler till avhandlingens bilaga 1, http://musicalfieldsforever.com/dobedj_more.html; Videodokumentation av Do-Be-DJ, Interaktiv installation, http://musicalfieldsforever.com/dobedj_more.html; Videodokumentation av Mufi I och II, Interaktiv installation, http://musicalfieldsforever.com/mufi_more.html; Doktorandtjänsten finansierades av Interactive Institute; Musikinspelning finansierades av Framtidens Kultur genom Skiften på Malmö högskola</p> / Interaktiv musikkomposition / Interactive Music Composition / Interaktiv ljuddesign / Interactive Sound Design / Musik och Hälsa / Music and Health
