Panáčková, Tereza January 2014 (has links)
This thesis is dedicated to international tax planning at European level. The thesis explaining the basic concepts and principles of international tax planning, methodology of determining tax havens, ways of combating tax evasion. In the practical part the thesis introduces the tax systems of the three selected European jurisdictions - the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Cyprus. The information is evaluated using a multi-criteria analysis and the analysis results are compared and interpreted in conjunction with the results of a practical example of the transfer of the seat of domestic company in three European jurisdictions. Finally, one of the three selected countries is selected and recommended.

Příjmy zaměstnanců ze závislé činnosti z pohledu optimalizace daně z příjmů / Employees' income from employment from the perspective of optimizing the income tax

HOLADOVÁ, Veronika January 2018 (has links)
The aim of diploma thesis was to evaluate the impact of taxation of employees´ financial and natural income on both employer and employee, and to propose changes for income tax optimization. The theoretical part is devoted to taxes in general, tax deductible expenses and employer costs and employee benefits. The practical part is devoted to the employees' incomes in Agro-company Košetice, a.s. The individual benefits provided by the company are described here. The facts are processed into tables and compared. At the end of the thesis are described proposals for changes in favor of optimization of the amount of income tax.

Možnosti optimalizace dílenských procesů ve vybraném podniku / Possibility of optimizing workshop processes in a chosen enterprise

KADAVÁ, Eliška January 2018 (has links)
The main goal of this thesis is to characterize workshop processes in a chosen enterprise, analyze them and suggest possible improvements. The cooperation was formed with VSP DATA a.s. company which is situated the town Tábor. This enterprise is specialized in service and repairs. The theoretical part of this thesis was based on studying specialized literature focused on processes, production, services and improvement methods. Main information, characteristics and core activities are provided in introduction of practical part of this work. The necessary information for the next part of thesis was taken from the corporate internal data and from the regulated conversation with several experts of the company. For mapping out the times of the workshop processes was used data from the entire year 2016. This technique helped with analysis of present state and to found out key problems with excessively long time duration of repairs. The suggestion of optimization was focused on reduction of time of processes and attainment of their continuous flow. A certain part of the proposals is the effort to change the current state of workforce. Among recommendations there are 5S method, improvement of sharing experience and implementation of time limit for customer decision-making. To achieve better results of optimization it is necessary to combine partial metod, rather then implement them separately.

Optimalizace zajištění pomocí stochastického programování a měr rizika / Reinsurance optimization using stochastic programming and risk measures

Došel, Jan January 2018 (has links)
Title: Reinsurance optimization using stochastic programming and risk measures Author: Jan Došel Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: RNDr. Martin Branda, Ph.D., Department of Probability and Mathe- matical Statistics Abstract: The diploma thesis deals with an application of a stochastic progra- mming in a reinsurance optimization problem in terms of a present regulatory framework of the insurance companies within the European Union, i.e. Solvency II. In this context, the reinsurance does not only transfer a portion of the risk to the reinsurer but also reduces an amout of required capital. The thesis utilizes certain risk measures and their properties, premium principles and non-linear in- teger programming. In the theoretical part, there are basic terms from Solvency II, reinsurance, risk measures and the comonotonicity of random variables descri- bed and the optimization problem itself is derived. The approach is then applied in the practical part on data of Czech Insurers' Bureau using the GAMS software. Finally, a stability of the solution is tested depending on several parameters. Keywords: reinsurance optimization, stochastic programming, Solvency II, risk measures 1

Vícestupňové vnořené vzdálenosti v stochastické optimalizaci / Multistage nested distance in stochastic optimization

Horejšová, Markéta January 2018 (has links)
Multistage stochastic optimization is used to solve many real-life problems where decisions are taken at multiple times, e.g., portfolio selection problems. Such problems need the definition of stochastic processes, which are usually approxim- ated by scenario trees. The choice of the size of the scenario trees is the result of a compromise between the best approximation and the possibilities of the com- puter technology. Therefore, once a master scenario tree has been generated, it can be needed to reduce its dimension in order to make the problem computation- ally tractable. In this thesis, we introduce several scenario reduction algorithms and we compare them numerically for different types of master trees. A simple portfolio selection problem is also solved within the study. The distance from the initial scenario tree, the computational time, and the distance between the optimal objective values and solutions are compared for all the scenario reduction algorithms. In particular, we adopt the nested distance to measure the distance between two scenario trees. 1

Analýza potenciálu aplikace principů štíhlé výroby ve vybraném průmyslovém podniku / Analysis of aplication potential of the Lean manufacturing principles in the selected industrial company

ŘÍHA, Karel January 2007 (has links)
The basis of lean manufacturing is to minimize the inventories to reveal the disfunctions of the production system and to optimize process to avoid every kind of wastes. Lean systems are characteristic with smooth pull production system with one piece flow and just in time supplements of inventories. The layout of the line is transformed to the U work cell and the material is ordered by using kanban tickets. To receive the potential of implementation of the lean manufacturing principles we can use indicators IE - industrial efficiency and PLT - pruduction lead time.

Úlohy rozvrhování s pevnými časy prací - stochastická rozšíření, formulace a algoritmy / Fixed interval scheduling problems - stochastic extensions, formulations and algortihms

Leder, Ondřej January 2018 (has links)
Fixed interval scheduling problems have wide range of practical use in production planning, transportation, in hospitals or in schools when planning timetables. When solving these problems we often encounter requirement of integrality of solutions. Ignoring this condition is often not possible. In this thesis we propose some formulations of scheduling problems and their stochastic extensions. We also propone a new formulation of stochastic FIS problem, for which integrality of solution is byproduct of its definition. We present Gâteaux derivative and its relationship to stability of optimal value function of stochastic optimization problems under the influence of contamination. We propose a new theorem on the stability of such functions for fixed interval scheduling problems.

Adaptace programů ve Scale zaměřená na výkon / Performance based adaptation of Scala programs

Kubát, Petr January 2017 (has links)
Dynamic adaptivity of a computer system is its ability to modify the behavior according to the environment in which it is executed. It allows the system to achieve better performance, but usually requires specialized architecture and brings more complexity. The thesis presents an analysis and design of a framework that allows simple and fluent performance-based adaptive development at the level of functions and methods. It closely examines the API requirements and possibilities of integrating such a framework into the Scala programming language using its advanced syntactical constructs. On theoretical level, it deals with the problem of selecting the most appropriate function to execute with given input based on measurements of previous executions. In the provided framework implementation, the main stress is laid on modularity and extensibility, as many possible future extensions are outlined. The solution is evaluated on a variety of development scenarios, ranging from input adaptation of algorithms to environment adaptations of complex distributed computations in Apache Spark.
