This thesis provides a look on the issue of logistics on the present. The main objectives of the thesis are representation of the logistic flow of final products of the company Opavia-LU, s r.o. to the final client to maximize his needs and to focus on the certain problem and find his solution. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is dedicated to analysis of the basic theoretical points of logistics and the assumptions of its efficiency. In the practical part there is the description and the analysis of the logistic flow of final products and the solution of the concrete problem.

Hlavním cílem této práce je nastínit vztah mezi zvyšováním hodnoty podniku a optimalizací činností finančního řízení. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování hodnoty podniku a vybraných nástrojů řízení hodnoty, porovnání koncepce shareholder a stakeholder value a možnosti zvyšování hodnoty pro akcionáře. Teoreticko-praktická část v úvodu charakterizuje analyzovaný podniku, popisuje jeho ekonomický (finanční) úsek a organizační strukturu. Na tomto podniku je představen příklad praktické ?cesty?, která by měla vést ke zvyšování hodnoty podniku ? zhodnocení současného stavu vybraných oblastí finančního řízení, srovnání s nejlepšími postupy, návrh změn a doporučení za účelem budoucího zvyšování hodnoty podniku pro akcionáře.

The graduation theses deals with producing the draft for optimalisation options in Slovak Railway Company. The theses in theoretical part defines chosen basic requirements of Quality Management,defines the notions as customer satisfaction, measurement of quality, process management and improvement. It outlines the options for optimalisation bases of customer processes, that are determination, precise analysis and formulation of measurable criteria and finally proposes the optimalisation.The theses is connected with the results of questioning in bachelor theses.

This thesis is trying to appraise benefits of implementation Cisco Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) in the organization. It's a relatively new technology, which seeks to answer the question, how to maintain control over the ever-increasing volume of traffic. This constant increase is mainly due to the use of new applications and business processes. WAAS should transparently improve throughput, speed and ease of use of all applications in the organization. The question is if this technology can reduce costs, improve productivity, simplify data protection, or what manner it is compatible with the corporate infrastructure. If is really consolidating and pooling application infrastructure for remote branch back into the data center best current solution, which facilitates access to remote users, in same way to which they are accustomed from the Local Area Network (LAN). The next one sections of this work will be summarized findings on the principle of Cisco WAAS. How the technology works. What is main optimizing method and how is currently use in the organization. It's weaknesses and strengths against the largest suppliers of similar WAN optimization solutions. The next one section will carry out an analysis, which showed us results to determine which applications are suitable for optimization technology and statements for the policy, which will be applied to the applications. This raises so many questions to be answered. The outcome of this work will be whether this technology is really what the organization needs, and whether this technology is applicable to all or only for certain types of applications or application protocols.

The thesis describes a way of searching the best bill of fare for certain patient in hospital. The target is to set up and then to solve an optimization model. Criterion of performance is to minimize spending on selected foodstuff. The first part describes a theory of optimization models, the second is about nutrition and the third aims to solve a model and to interpret the results.

Diplomová práce popisuje oblast podnikání v nákladní multimodální přepravě s užším zaměřením na přepravu produktů potravinářské kvality. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny obecné informace o tomto druhu přepravy. V praktické části, na příkladu konkrétní přepravní firmy byla provedena analýza podnikatelských příležitostí na českém trhu, segmentace zákazníků a analýza konkurence v oboru. Nezbytnou součástí rozboru je i analýza odvětví jako takového. Důležitou částí diplomové práce je kapitola č. 6.5, která identifikuje nejdůležitější kritéria rozhodování zákazníků při výběru přepravní firmy a definuje hlavní kritéria dopravní firmy při výběru zákazníků. Dále je klíčová celá kapitola 8, která poukazuje na výhody, užitek a jiné benefity multimodální přepravy zboží a mohla by být určitým vodítkem pro zákazníky při rozhodování o výběru přepravní firmy.

Práce se zabývá optimalizací najíždění kontinuální chemické výroby, jenž má značný vliv na ekonomiku procesu. Základním pilířem práce je myšlenka optimalizace této komplexní operace na základě historických dat bez nutnosti užití složitých chemicko inženýrských výpočtů. V práci je využito moderních metod řízení ke zmapování procesu a následně k vyhledání míst, ve kterých dochází k největším prodlevám. Druhá část práce se zabývá optimalizací procesu s využitím modelů a metod řízení projektů, zejména síťové analýzy. V závěru práce je proces simulován pomocí metody Monte Carlo.

This thesis is aimed on time frame distribution task. In the theoretical part is described the mathematical model of this task and introduced in detail two concrete heuristics: greedy look-ahead and AKRed. In the practical part of the thesis has been a real situation solved with using of sophisticated optimalization software and through own implemented heuristic. These two solution are then compared each other and applicability of each heuristics for the given real problem is evaluated.

This paper examines the process of Operations Acceptance Management, whose main task is to control Operations Acceptance Tests (OAT). In the first part the author focuses on the theoretical ground for the problem in the context of ITSM best practices framework ITIL. Benefits, process pitfalls and possibilities for automation are discussed in this part. The second part contains a case study of DHL IT Services (Prague), where a solution optimizing the overall workflow was implemented using simple web applications. The author of this paper was personally involved in the described project.

One of the products produced by Motorpal a.s. is a camshaft. Recently, the company signed a contract with Bosch company to produce new types of camshaft. The analysis of the impact of the contract on the production was made by simulation. To perform the simulation it was necessary to map the whole process. The simulation of the current state was made in the first phase. The results shew many uneffectivnesses in the process and lack of capacity of some workplaces. Some changes in the process were suggested and tested with the aid of the simulation. The best results were achieved when the single-item flow was used. In the second phase the production of a new type of camshaft was added to the simulation. Analysis of these results was divided into two parts. The new production was analysed in the first part and it was discovered that the planned capacites are very deficient. The impact of the new production on the current one was analysed in the second part. It shew that this impact is negativ, especially on the duration of production.
