1 SUMMARY The present thesis deals with cultural and cultural-political journals published between May 1945 and February 1948, as well as polemics that went on during that period. The thesis consists of two interconnected parts - the journals' profiles and the literary-historical introduction that analyzes certain important issues and problems in regard to the journals and selected personalities, placing them in the contemporary social context.

This diploma work is meant as a historical study and is divided into three chapters. The first one is focused on the elementary development of the educational system in the Czech countries. Except of the description of the beginning of the education and the reform in the 19th century there are also essays about teachers education, school rules and school board. In the enclosure there is decribed in details the goal of the locals and towns schools. The main chapter is devoted to the history of the educational system in Kladno district since the proclamation of the Hasner's law to 1918. The chapter outlines the beginning of the education in our region, the rise of the District School Board in Kladno and it mentions about the activity of the school board and primary describes the particular schools. The third chapter presents the significant pedagogical personalities of the region whose teacher's beginnings are connected with some of the mentioned schools. This thesis is called "Bereavement of eminent personalities: Comparison of Media Representation of Václav Havel and Kim Jong-il in the Czech Media." Its focus is on the media coverage of Václav Havel's and Kim Jong-il's death in the Czech Republic National dailies. The theoretical part deals with how mass media use and process media events, especially the one's related to the death of publicly known persons. The thesis also addresses ritual function of media events and their role in society integration. Another chapter of the thesis explains how media inform the public about deaths of well-known people and what their function is in this context. As Václav Havel was and still is called a national hero, a phenomenon of a hero and its development from history up to date is also presented in the paper. The practical part consists of quantitative content analysis which provides concrete topics that were covered by Czech dailies in regards with Václav Havel's and Kim Jong-il's death. The analysis also answers the following questions: Were there any differences in quantity of articles on each leader and the type of topics in any particular media? Did the Czech media tend to compare the personalities of Václav Havel and Kim Jong-il during their coverage? The additional qualitative analysis also examines whether...

Problembakgrund och problemformulering: Sverige är ett av de länder i världen där ehandel förekommer mest frekvent, dock inte av dagligvaror. Detta är ett problem för de matbutiker som väljer att erbjuda e-handel då det inte är lönsamt. Från ett konsumentperspektiv kan detta bero på bland annat livssituation, vanebeteende och köparpersonlighet. Frågan blir då i vilken utsträckning dessa faktorer påverkar val av inköpskanal. Syfte och frågeställning: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva hur attityder mot en rad butikskomponenter ser ut hos olika konsumenter med olika köparpersonligheter och vilka köparpersonligheter som regelbundet handlar dagligvaror online samt vilka som inte gör det. Frågeställningen som uppsatsen utgår ifrån är därför: “Hur kan attityder till butikskomponenter och köparpersonligheter påverka val av inköpskanal hos konsumenter som regelbundet handlar dagligvaror online via en matbutik respektive konsumenter som handlar dagligvaror i fysisk butik?” Metod: En kvalitativ metod användes i den aktuella uppsatsen. Djupintervjuer utfördes med 14 respondenter från Sverige i två olika grupper: de som regelbundet handlar dagligvaror via en matbutik och de som inte gör det. Frågorna som ställdes handlade om attityder, attribut, vanor, livssituation, erfarenheter och val av inköpskanal. För att behandla alla frågor teoretiskt skapades en analysmodell som verktyg för skrivandet av uppsatsen. Slutsats och förslag till framtida forskning: Inga övergripande skillnader mellan de respondenter som regelbundet handlar dagligvaror online via en matbutik och de respondenter som inte gör det fanns genom studien. Dock sågs nyansskillnader inom respektive grupper och mellan grupperna. Vidare fanns att konsumenters köparpersonligheter och utomstående faktorer såsom livssituation hade ungefär samma grad av påverkan på valet av inköpskanal. Det var omkring samma antal respondenter som påverkats till att välja den kanal de valt på grund av utomstående faktorer som det antal som valt inköpskanal på grund av sin köparpersonlighet. Förslag till framtida forskning skulle kunna vara en mer extensiv studie med respondenter från hela Sverige, då den aktuella studien utfördes i Jönköping och Göteborg samt forskning om hur matbutikerna kan få sin e-handel att öka. / Problem background and problem formulation: Sweden is one of the countries in the world where e-commerce is the most present. This is however not the case within groceries. The problem occurs for the supermarkets that chooses to offer e-commerce of groceries when it is not profitable. From a consumer perspective this can depend on living conditions, habits and buyer personality. The question then is to what degree these factors influence the choice of purchase channel. Purpose and research question: The purpose of this essay is to describe how attitudes toward a range of store components look among consumers with different shopping typologies and personalities and which of these personalities that regularly shop for groceries online through a supermarket and which ones does not. The research question therefore is: “How can attitudes to store components and buyer personalities influence the choice of purchasing channel of consumers that regularly shop for groceries online through a grocery store in difference to those consumers who shop for groceries in a physical store?” Method: A qualitative method was used in the present essay. In-depth interviews were conducted with 14 respondents from Sweden in two groups: the ones who regularly shop for groceries online through a supermarket and the ones that do not. The questions asked was about attitudes, attributes, habits, living conditions, experiences and choice of buying channel. In order to treat every question theoretically an analysis model was created as a tool for the essay. Conclusion and recommendations for further research: No general differences between the respondents that shop for groceries online through a supermarket and those who shop in a physical supermarket was found through the present study. However, differences in nuances was seen within both groups and between the groups. Furthermore the analysis showed that consumers’ buyer personalities and external factors such as living conditions had more or less the level of impact on the choice of purchasing channel. It was about the same number of respondents that had been affected to choose the channel that they chose do to external factors, as the number of respondents that had chosen purchasing channel because of their buyer personality. Recommendations for further research could be a more extensive study with respondents from all of Sweden since the present study was conducted in two Swedish cities: Jönköping and Göteborg. Additionally, research about how supermarkets could make their e-commerce efforts be profitable could be of interest.

In the context of the numerous publications on beauty, health and good shape present in cyberspace (Leão), this thesis is based on the hypothesis that there is a complex social imaginary being built in the networks and that it is possible to map the affections, practices and the logics that compose this imaginary. The research method involved: theoretical research (reading of texts and bibliographical review of the literature); empirical research composed by: (1) analysis of speeches present in celebrity networks; (2) questionnaires and interviews with followers of selected social networks; (3) cartography. The chosen corpus consists of "Instagram" pages by Jane Fonda, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bela Gil, Bella Falconi and Kéfera. The theoretical foundation is composed by Foucault (discourses of power, biopolitics and subjectivity); Leão (network culture, mitoanalysis and cartography as a method for researching media imagery); Spinoza (affections); Flusser and Proser (cultural studies on the notions of gluttony and vanity). As results achieved, we could verify that the desire’s discourses for perfect body and eternal youth shelter three mythical matrices of collective construction of subjectivities (heroic, transgressive and transformative). Thus, we understand that the present thesis is a contribution to the studies of the media imaginaries that populate the networks’ discourses about perfect body and eternal youth and that the use of the discourse mapping method was productive for the construction of an understanding of these complex subjectivities / Quais são os discursos nas redes sociais digitais que circulam em torno dos temas da busca do corpo perfeito e da eterna juventude? No contexto das inúmeras publicações sobre beleza, saúde e boa forma presentes no ciberespaço (Leão), a presente tese de doutorado parte da hipótese de que existe imaginário social complexo sendo construído nas redes e que é possível realizar uma cartografia dos afetos, das práticas e das lógicas que compõem esse imaginário. O método de pesquisa envolveu: pesquisa teórica (leitura de textos e revisão bibliográfica da literatura); pesquisa empírica composta por: (1) análise de discursos presentes nas redes de celebridades; (2) questionários e entrevistas com seguidores das redes sociais selecionadas; (3) cartografia. O corpus escolhido é composto por páginas do Instagram de Jane Fonda, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bela Gil, Bella Falconi e Kéfera. Como resultados alcançados, pudemos verificar que os discursos de desejos de um corpo perfeito e eterna juventude abrigam três matrizes míticas de construção coletiva de subjetividades (heroica, transgressora e transformativa). Assim, compreendemos que a presente tese é uma contribuição para os estudos dos imaginários midiáticos que povoam os discursos sobre corpo perfeito e eterna juventude nas redes e que a utilização do método da cartografia de discursos foi produtiva para a construção de um entendimento dessas complexas subjetividades

Two distinct stress coping strategies, proactive and reactive, have been stated in various animal studies, each associated with a set of behavioural and physiological characteristics. In a given challenging situation, proactive animals show more aggression, a higher general activity and a predominant sympathetic reaction. In contrast, the reactive copers respond more with immobility and avoidance, and a predominant parasympathetic/hypothalamic activation. This divergence in coping has also been indicated in salmonid fish. Interestingly, many of the differences reported between sea-ranched and wild fish resembles characteristics that differentiate proactive and reactive copers. In the present thesis it is shown that individuals with divergent stress coping styles are identifiable in several brown trout (Salmo trutta) populations. Further, the results show that the distribution of individuals displaying these distinct stress coping strategies differs between populations. This strongly indicates that these traits are heritable and that the variation in selection regime in the native rivers influences these traits. In addition, the results show that populations with hatchery origin are biased towards having higher frequencies of trout displaying a proactive style than populations having wild origin. Also, even though the frequency of early sexual maturation, known as a viable alternative life history in salmonids, differs between populations of brown trout, no link between stress coping strategy and early sexual maturation were found. However, this thesis show that maternal contribution, in the form of egg size, is of major importance whether the progeny will sexually mature early and that it also might be of importance for stress coping strategy. Further, correlations of traits commonly associated with stress coping strategies and behavioural syndromes across context and over time is investigated. The results show that individuals with a strong sympathetic reactivity are more prone to change their behaviour than others.

This work deals with the life and work of historian, educator, and priest Josef Sakař. Josef Sakař is one of the most prominent Týn nad Vltavou natives. His monumental four-volume work, The History of the town Tyn nad Vltavou and the Surrounding Area, includes the building blocks of South Bohemian regional history. Even though the greater balance of the work was written in the 1930s, to this day it has not been surpassed. Pardubice, like Týn nad Vltavou, owes much to Josef Sakař. It is the city where he spent most of his productive years and where he worked as a secondary school teacher. He wrote his major works here, among them a six-volume history of Pardubice nad Labem. Josef Sakař's activity was more than merely regional: for his efforts to protect historical monuments he was appointed (as the only one of thirty candidates from across the country) an honorary member of the Club for Old Prague in 1925.This thesis analyzes and compares sources, and it determines the importance and value of key events, family ties, friends and personalities that influenced Josef Sakař's life. For 21st-century educators, the thesis looks for inspiration that can be taken from his life and works. The work focuses on Josef Sakař's relationships with relatives, his life's story and activities in Týn nad Vltavou and Pardubice. It is organized chronologically, from his birth to his death. The last part concerns itself with seeking traces of evidence of Josef Sakař in contemporary life. A separate section is devoted to an analysis of four of his key works. The work includes all biographical data and important life milestones of Josef Sakař and contains a complete bibliography.

The work deals with personalities that are among the more significant in this field in our country. The aim of the research is to discover and to describe these individuals. Then to show, where and in which organization and association they work, from which position they are known, what have achieved education, what they propagate or hold. Will be presented their published posts and will be summarized their overall work.

Title: A long jump at the modern Olympic Games and other international competitions Subtitle: Personalities and records Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to monitor and analyse individual personalities who at modern Olympic Games and other international top competitions (World Championships, European Championships, Diamond League) pushed forward the record in the long jump, both in relation to the development of the jump technique and other factors affecting the discipline. The work deals more with the athletes themselves and their medallions than with the development of the discipline. Methods: The analysis method was used in the work. The analysis was carried out on results in the long jump from 1896, i.e. from the first modern Olympic Games to 2021. The change in the world record and its evolution, as well as the change in its holders, were analysed in the reporting period. Other personalities who made history in the long jump were also followed. Results: Records in the long jump has changed at international competitions depending on changes in training methods, technique, material and external conditions.
