Detekce význačných bodů v obraze / Interest Point Detection in Images

Duda, Tomáš Unknown Date (has links)
This master's thesis deals with the interest point detection in images. The main goal is to create an application for making panoramic photos, which is based on this detection. The application uses the SIFT detector for finding keypoints of the image. Afterwards the geometrical consistence of image points using the RANSAC algorithm is finds out and images are transform into panorama in accordance with this geometrical consistence. Finally techniques for blending of transition between photos are used.

Kolektivizace zemědělství a její promítnutí do krajiny. Případová studie katastrálního území Široký Důl / Collectivization of agriculture and its projection to the landscape. Case study of cadastral area Široký Důl

Kocmanová, Pavlína January 2010 (has links)
Diplomová práce Kolektivizace zemědělství a její promítnutí do krajiny ABSTRACT I searched changes in the cultural landscape structure in the relation with social processes in the time period 1937-2010 in my thesis. The research refers to the second half of 20th century, or more precisely, to the era of collectivization of Czechoslovak agriculture. In consequence of collectivization, the landscape was ecologically devastated and overall the nature of Czech countryside changed. Analysis of the landscape structure has form of case study of cadastral area of Široký Důl. I interpreted landscape changes from historical aerial photos and then analyzed the changes by geographical information systems. The results of those analyses are indicators (landscape metrics), by which I interpreted conditions of landscape in particular time. I confronted the changes in the landscape structure with social processes, which are described in theoretical part of thesis according to background research. Result of my thesis is general story of particular landscape, whose structure changed fundamentally in consequence of collectivization of agriculture. Key words: landscape structure, collectivization, landscape metrics, GIS, cultural landscape, aerial photos, Široký Důl

Analyse régionale de la structure et de la dynamique biogéomorphologiques des rivières en tresses du bassin du Rhône / Regional analysis of the biogeomorphological structure and dynamic of braided rivers in the Rhône basin district

Belletti, Barbara 19 December 2012 (has links)
The landscape of the braided rivers is characterised by a rich and diversified mosaic of habitats. The variability of the braided riverscape depends upon the combination of bio-physical factors, which interact at the different spatial and temporal scales. We did a comparative analysis at the regional scale of 53 braided reaches selected in the Rhône basin district. We used a remote sensing-based approach. At first, we analysed the aquatic habitat and the river channel pattern. We showed that the braiding and aquatic habitat patterns do not depend only on the flow regime but also on some local scale conditions, such us the sediment regime and the presence of the “near-floor” groundwater.Secondly, we moved on the overall riverscape corridor, and we applied a diachronic analysis comparing the present state of reaches with their state at the mid of the last century. The results show that not all studied braided reaches are narrower today compared to the 1950s and that some reaches are even wider. It is linked to a combination of several factors, such as the geographical position of a reach in its catchment and the short-term evolution ruled by recent large floods, as well as the history of the catchment linked to human settlements. Then we focused on the evolutionary trajectories followed by a sub-set of 12 braided reaches through time, and we increased the temporal resolution, for a total of five dates per reach. The results show that reaches follow different trajectories depending on: the hydrological conditions at a given period (e.g. floods), the geographical position of a reach at the regional scale and the anthropic context. Additionally, it seems that also local conditions (in terms of topography, sedimentation, and soil moisture), play an important role in determining the biogeomorphological pattern of the studied reaches. From these results, we discussed some perspectives for the braided river management in the Rhône basin district.

Doan, Thi Kieu Oanh 28 November 2012 (has links) (PDF)

In nowadays the science of remote sensing and satellite data, represent a modern scientific tool, due to the fact that can provide plenty of important information making easier the research in a lot of scientific fields. In the present work we demonstrate a complete biomonitoring system of diachronic follow-up of vegetation and human effects in the protected region of Strofylia's Forest and the lagoons of Kalogrias and Kotyhi, with modern remote sensing methods and Telemetry. More specifically we used aerial photos and satellite images from the Landsat satellite in order to illustrate spectrum signatures and detection of changes. Also we analyzed data from sensors that measured environmental parameters in order to show time changes. Finally we created an online database so as to store all this important information that we produced but also to minimize the total time of registration and sampling.

The knowledge discovery from huge photo repositories has been a very active area of research in the last years. This is due to three facts: the incorporation of digital cameras and geolocation sensors in mobile devices; the advances in Internet connectivity; and the evolution of social networks. The photos stored on those repositories have contextual metadata. Those metadata could be used for many applications of knowledge discovering, such as: Point of Interest (POI) detection; generating of tourist guides; and automatic photo organization. Most approaches for POI detection assume that geographic areas with high density of photos indicate the existence of a point of interest in that area. However, in many cases, the POIs are located in a certain distance of that position in direction where camera was aiming, and not in the exact point of photo shooting. Most of related work do not consider the use of orientation in the process of POI detection. In this way, we propose a set of algorithms and techniques for POI discovery in touristic cities using geotagged and oriented photos collection exploring the geographic orientation in different ways. This research has proven the importance of the usage of orientation in the new algorithms for POI detection. In the experiments with collections related to big cities, the algorithms considering orientation, in several scenarios, have beaten those that do not consider. Also, new metrics of evaluation have been proposed and a new framework to assist all the tasks for knowledge discovery based on huge photo collections.
