This thesis deals with frameworks for modular information systems. The experimental implementation module for dynamic loading of others running modules is realized in thesis on the basis of research. In first chapters there are the description of solved problems of modular systems and the description of used programming language Java. Other chapter describes the specifications for modular system OSHi. Other chapter describes framework Esclipse RCP. Eclipse RCP is used for the formation of graphics of riched aplication. The experimental module is creative at the end of the thesis. The program uses Eclipse RCP for grant of GUI for control of loading of modules.

Pluginkonfigurering - ett grafiskt och användarvänligt sätt att konfigurera "plugins" i iipax / Plugin Configuration- a graphical and user-friendly way to configure the plugins in iipax

Företaget Ida Infront, där examensarbetet utfördes, var intresserad av hur den grafiska pluginkonfigurering kan göras mer användarvänlig i deras egenproducerade mjukvaruprogram iipax. Programmet iipax används bland annat till att effektivisera ärendehanteringsprocesser och digitala arkiveringar. Det är till stor del uppbyggt av plugins vilka förtecknas i en konfigurationsfil men även i vissa fall det grafiska användargränssnittet. Pluginkonfigurering sker genom att användaren fyller i pluginnamn, parameternamn och parametervärden för ett plugin i ett formulär. Det finns ingen information i programmet vilka plugins som finns eller vad de har för parametrar, vilket gör det svårt att konfigurera plugins. Utifrån en kravspe-cifikation som angavs i början av examensarbetet och möten med anställda på Ida Infront har en prototyp tagits fram som visar hur man kan konfigu-rera plugins på ett enklare sätt. Prototypen är ett modifierat iipax-program där ett ramverk, som består av en databas med plugins och en grafisk konfigureringskomponent, ingår. Ramverket använder "reflection" för att hitta plugins, vilket gör att bara plugins som existerar på servern kan läggas till i databasen. I konfigureringskomponenten kan användaren välja plugins från en lista och pluginparametrarna fylls i och valideras automatiskt. Det undersöktes även hur annotationer kan användas för att förbättra möjlighe-terna att samla in information om plugins. I prototypen krävs inte samma förkunskap av användaren för att konfigurera plugins som i ett omodifierat iipax och risken att användaren gör fel har minskats. Enligt min uppfatt-ning har pluginkonfigureringen blivit användarvänligare, men det har inte utförts någon undersökning för att bekräfta detta. / The company Ida Infront, where the thesis was performed, was interested in how plugin configuration can be made more user-friendly in their self-produced software application iipax. The program iipax is used, among other things, to streamline workflow processes and digital archives. It is largely made up of plugins listed in a configuration file, but in some cases also in the graphical user interface. Plugin configuration is done by the user who fills in the plugin name, parameter names and parameter values into a form. There is no information available in the program about which plugins exist or what parameters they have, making it difficult to configure the plugins. Based on a specification given in the beginning of the thesis work and on meetings with employees at Ida Infront, a prototype has been developed that shows how configuring plugins in a simpler way is done. The prototype is a modified iipax application in which a framework, consisting of a database with plugins and a graphic configuration component, is included. The framework uses "reflection" to locate plugins, which means that only plugins that exist on the server can be added to the database. In the configuration component, the user can choose a plugin from a list and plugin parameters are filled in and validated automatically. It was also examined how annotations can be used to improve the ability to collect information about plugins. The prototype does not require the prior knowledge of the user to configure the plugins in an unmodified iipax and the risk that the user make an error has been reduced. In my opinion configuring plugins has been made more user-friendly, but no research has been done to confirm this.

JBlocks : En blockplugin för WordPress

Today there are a large number of plugins available for WordPress to manage various types of content and many of them work really well. However, one problem is that the user only gets the control that the plugin creator has allowed from the beginning. This project which uses the name JBlocks is made for the web development agency Fostira AB and is about the development of a Gutenberg block plugin for WordPress. Based on the company's requirements I have applied what I have learned from Webbutvecklingsprogrammet at Mid Sweden University. The main purpose of this project is to facilitate the company's daily production by providing full control over both the plugin and the blocks they mostly work with. This will reduce the workload and the time it takes to learn or configure possibly several different plugins. Hopefully this will also reduce the stress that may be associated with those tasks. My plugin consists of the most common blocks and it uses the same stylesheet to make it easier to customize the content for each specific customer. It is designed to be easily built upon by Fostira's developers if they need to in the future. The report describes all the different phases of the work from planning and the methods used to the construction and the final result. / Idag finns det en stor mängd plugins tillgängliga för WordPress för att hantera olika typer av innehåll och många av dem är väldigt bra. Ett problem är dock att användaren bara får den kontroll som skaparen av pluginen tillåtit från början. Detta projektarbete som går under arbetsnamnet JBlocks är utfört åt webbyrån Fostira AB och handlar om utvecklingen av en plugin för Gutenbergblock i WordPress. Utifrån företagets krav har jag tillämpat mina kunskaper från Webbutvecklingsprogrammet via Mittuniversitetet. Arbetets huvudsyfte är att underlätta företagets verksamhet genom att ge full kontroll över både pluginen och blocken som dom oftast jobbar med. Målet är att minska arbetsbördan för de anställda och reducera tiden de behöver spendera på att lära sig eller konfigurera plugins. Tanken är också att detta ska minska den stress som detta kan leda till. Mitt plugin består av de vanligaste blocken och använder en och samma stilmall för att enklare kunna anpassa innehållet åt varje specifik kund. Den är skapad för att på ett lättbegripligt sätt kunna byggas på av Fostiras utvecklare i framtiden om behovet av fler block skulle uppstå. Rapporten beskriver alla arbetets olika faser från planering och de metoder som använts till konstruktionen och det färdiga resultatet.

The Benefits of EcoRouting for a Parallel Plug-In Hybrid Camaro

EcoRouting refers to the determination of a route that minimizes vehicle energy consumption compared to traditional routing methods, which usually attempt to minimize travel time. EcoRoutes typically increase travel time and in some cases this increase is constrained for a viable route. While significant research on EcoRouting exists for conventional vehicles, incorporating the novel aspects of plug-in hybrids opens new areas to be explored. A prototype EcoRouting system has been developed on the MATLAB platform that takes in map information and converts it to a graph of nodes containing route information such as speed and grade. Various routes between the origin and destination of the vehicle are selected and the total energy consumption and travel time for each route are estimated using a vehicle model. The route with the minimum energy consumption will be selected as the EcoRoute unless there is a significant difference between the minimum time route and the EcoRoute. In this case, selecting a sub-optimal route as the EcoRoute will increase the probability that the driver uses a lower fuel consumption route. EcoRouting has the potential to increase the fuel efficiency for powertrains designed mainly for performance, and we examine the sensitivity of the increased efficiency to various vehicle and terrain features. The reduction in energy consumption can be achieved independent of powertrain modifications and can be scaled using publicly available parameters. / Master of Science

[pt] A construtibilidade e a sustentabilidade são dois fatores fundamentais a serem considerados na confecção de projetos, visto que promovem uma maior facilidade de construção do projeto e uma maior redução de impactos ambientais, econômicos e sociais. Atualmente, estes fatores começaram a ser analisados individualmente nas etapas iniciais de projeto através do uso da metodologia BIM. A metodologia BIM consegue avaliar estes conceitos por meio do uso de modelagem gráfica 3D e de objetos parametrizados que armazenam informações necessárias para a avaliação da construtibilidade e sustentabilidade. Porém, estes conceitos costumam ser observados separadamente e poucos estudos são encontrados buscando a consideração de ambos com o uso da metodologia BIM. Desta forma, este trabalho busca criar um mapa de processos para ilustrar como ocorreria o fluxo de informação entre os arquitetos e engenheiros, de modo a garantir um projeto mais sustentável e com melhor construtibilidade. Além disso, foi desenvolvido um plugin no Revit, chamado ECOS, a fim de realizar uma análise quantitativa da construtibilidade, da sustentabilidade e de seus subcritérios, e de identificar quais aspectos do projeto estariam mais deficientes. Também foi considerado o critério de custo no ECOS, por estar relacionado aos dois fatores estudados e por ser extremamente relevante na análise de um projeto. Para testar e validar o plugin, foram feitos questionários e entrevistas com dezesseis profissionais da área de arquitetura e engenharia. Com os resultados obtidos nas entrevistas, é possível concluir que o mapa de processos e o ECOS formam uma ferramenta útil para promover a maior participação de construtores e engenheiros ambientais nas fases iniciais de projeto, gerando maior sustentabilidade e melhor construtibilidade ao mesmo. / [en] Constructability and sustainability are two important factors to be considered in the development of a project, since their consideration promotes projects that are easier to construct, have less social and environmental impact, and are more economic. Currently, these factors are beginning to be analyzed separately in the primary phases of projects using the BIM methodology. The BIM methodology enables this evaluation using 3D graphic modelling and parametric objects i.e., objects that store the necessary information for constructability and sustainability evaluation. However, these concepts are usually evaluated separately and few studies exist in the literature that consider the interaction between these concepts within the BIM methodology. Thus, this study develops a process map to establish the information flow between architects and engineers, in order to guarantee a more sustainable project with improved constructability. To help implement the developed process map, a plugin has been developed in Autodesk Revit software. The plugin, named ECOS, performs a quantitative analysis of constructability and sustainability indices to identify which aspects of the project can be improved. Additionally, it considers a cost criterion, which helps the decision-making process. To test and validate the plugin, sixteen architecture and engineering professionals have tested the plugin in an interview setting and have responded a questionnaire evaluating the plugin and their experience with it. From the interview results it can be concluded that the proposed process map and ECOS form a useful tool to promote greater participation of builders and environmental engineers in the project s initial phases, thus helping produce more sustainable projects with improved constructibility.

Webový systém pro správu elektronických dokumentů / Modification of web system for electronic document management

The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide a systematic study of Open Journal System, which is designed for electronic research papers publishing. Due to the nature of information published in this system, there is an elaborate approval process controlled by the editor. The main objective of this thesis is the realization of a system module, which would, at the end of the approval process, implement a stamp incorporating metadata of the source magazine to individual electronic documents. The thesis gives insight into the development of the structure of the Open Journal System and, briefly, describes the possibility of implementing this system. Another part of the work focuses on the sub-steps of the stamping module which was implemented into the system. This module allows editors to stamp individual electronic PDF documents that are published within the magazine and its various volumes. The module is designed to simplify the editing process of the journal with no prolongation or any other additional time required. Among other things, the reader learns how it is possible to create a block module, which can be used in the sidebar to display any system information. The work, also, previews the possibility to customize the user interface. Each implemented part contains solution proposals and, further, the implementation method and technical description is described in more detail. For better understanding and integrity of the work, stretches of the given code are also included, this might serve as an inspiration for users‘ modifications of the system.

Vyhledávač údajů ve webových stránkách / Web page data figure finder

The thesis treats automatic extraction of semantic data from Web pages. Within this broad problem, it focuses on finding values of data figures within the page presenting certain entity (e.g. price of a laptop). The main idea we wanted to evaluate is that a figure can be found using its context in the page: the words that surround it and values of the attributes of the containing HTML tags, class attribute in particular. Our research revealed there are two types of contemporary solutions of this problem: either the author of the Web page must inline semantic information inside the markup of the page or there are commercial tools that can be trained to parse a particular page format (targetting pages from a single Web domain). We examined the possibilities of developing a general solution that would - for given entity - find its properties across the Web domains using text analysis and machine learning. The naïve algorithm had about 30% accuracy, the lear- ning algorithms had the accuracy between 40 and 50% in finding the properties. Despite the accuracy is not acceptable for a final solution, we believe it confirms the potential of the idea. Keywords: Web pages data extraction 1

[pt] O projeto de poços de petróleo representa um dos maiores desafios na indústria de óleo e gás. A análise de estabilidade é parte fundamental do projeto pois fornece subsídios para perfuração e operação dos poços. Assim, compreender e prever a resposta geomecânica de um poço durante sua perfuração e produção é de suma importância. Para que o poço permaneça estável durante a perfuração, busca-se controlar, dentre outros fatores, a pressão interna ao longo de todo o processo com a lama de perfuração. Ela tem como objetivo manter a região do furo em equilíbrio, próximo de seu estado pré perfuração. A pressão interna no poço também deve permanecer dentro de uma janela de estabilidade, de forma que a perfuração ocorra de forma segura. Neste trabalho, é proposto um novo simulador para a obtenção da janela de estabilidade ótima para perfuração de poços de petróleo. O simulador utiliza uma arquitetura de plugins, que o permite realizar diferentes análises apenas substituindo alguns plugins e garante maior flexibilidade para desenvolver e estender o simulador se comparado com outros disponíveis num formato de caixa preta. O cálculo da pressão ótima da janela de estabilidade é realizado por meio da obtenção de raízes de funções de restrição baseadas em critérios de falha por plastificação ou fratura do poço. Para resolver as análises geomecânicas envolvidas, o simulador utiliza o Método dos Elementos Finitos considerando o acoplamento fluido mecânico e o comportamento elastoplástico no entorno do poço. São apresentados exemplos para a validação do simulador, bem como análises de estabilidade de poços baseados em estudos de caso da literatura. / [en] Well planning presents a major challenge in the oil and gas industry. Wellbore stability analysis is one of the most important steps during well planning and provides the technical basis for a safe drilling operation. Therefore, comprehending and predicting the physical response of wells is extremely valuable to drilling engineers. In order to achieve wellbore stability, drilling operators control, among other factors, the internal wellbore pressure using the perforation mud weight. The mud pressure is used to balance the stresses at the wellbore region and its value must remain inside a stable window to ensure a safe operation. In this work, we propose a novel simulator to perform wellbore stability analysis and to compute the optimal mud pressure window. The simulator utilizes a plugin architecture, which provides a more flexible environment to develop and extend the simulator or even perform different analyses by exchanging one or more plugins. The ideal internal pressure and mud weight window are computed by solving a root-finding problem based on different failure criteria for the well. The simulator uses the Finite Element Method to solve each geomechanical analysis during the solution procedure, assuming the fluid-mechanical coupling and elastoplastic behavior around the wellbore. The simulator was validated using various examples and wellbore stability analyses were performed on a set of case studies from the literature.
