The thesis strives to give a picture of the main themes through which artists reflect on humanity within a current societal system with its various old or new phenomena. The topics and the particular relevant artworks are described in four main chapters that should reveal the working methods or the development of the artists approach or strategies of artistic groups that have simultaneously reflected changes in the Czech art scene for the past 25 years. Regulační poplatky v systému českého zdravotnictví / Regulation Fees in the Czech Health Care System

KYTLEROVÁ, Ivana January 2012 (has links)
A large part of the work has been devoted to regulation fees as one of the health care systems regulating mechanisms. An essential place in the work is taken by elaboration of the topic of increase of costs for the health care systems functioning in the current world and the possibilities of their solution. The work also deals with an extensive and frequently discussed topic of justice in the physician-patient relationship. This topic has been processed in connection with historical circumstances and a philosophical dimension of perception of justice in health care. Further to this, ideas and ideological foundations of justice, which project into political ideologies, have been dealt with. Health care systems, the system of health insurance in the Czech Republic and its legal regulation have been briefly characterized. The aim of the work was to map an opinion of some ordinary citizens regarding perception of justice in the Czech health care and introduction of the regulation fees. Partial goals were to find out in what way political orientation reflects in the opinion on justice of the collected regulation fees and furthermore to map, in what way an amount of income of respondents influences an opinion that regulation fees represent an income for a health care facility. Two hypotheses were determined. Hypothesis no. 1: University graduates understand better the system of regulation fees. Hypothesis no. 2: More than 80% or respondents consider it unjust that regulation fees represent an income of a physician, health care facility, or pharmacy. A method of questioning was used for the processing, data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire technique. Statistical methods suitable for an analysis of categorical data were used for evaluation of information. 300 questionnaires were handed out, the return rate being 74%, the final research population consisted in 182 respondents from the city of Votice. Another employed processing method was the secondary data analysis. Results of the questionnaire research brought a number of intriguing facts relating to attitudes of the respondents as to the issue of justice and state of the Czech health care. Further to this, it has been confirmed that university educated respondents understand better the system of regulation fees. In more than 65%, respondents consider it unjust that the proceeds from the regulation fees collection represent income of a health care facility. One of the hypothesis was confirmed and the other was disproved. The acquired information can be used as a guideline for public discussion.

Obchod a politické vlivy: politické determinanty mezinárodních obchodních toků / Trade and Politics: Political Determinants of International Trade Flows

Sosnovec, Jan January 2018 (has links)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Social Sciences Institute of Economic Studies Master's thesis Trade and Politics: Political Determinants of International Trade Flows Author: Bc. Jan Sosnovec Supervisor: Ing. Vilém Semerák, M.A., Ph.D. January 3, 2018 Abstract This thesis takes a comprehensive look at the relationship between international trade and politics. The first part of this thesis is theoretical. Besides providing a useful overview of this highly complex subject, it makes a contribution to the contemporary theory by proposing two simple models. The first of these models explains how because of complementarity of institutions, countries end up stuck with inefficient institutions and consequently high trade costs; countries can break out of this inefficient equilibrium only by coordinating their actions. The second proposed model shows how governments set trade barriers in order to pursue their political aims, while at the same time staying popular in order to remain in power. This model is consistent with a wide variety of regime types and ideologies, and takes into account voter heterogeneity. The second part of this thesis is empirical. It uses the gravity model of trade, with multilateral resistance terms represented either by fixed effects or by the Baier-Bergstrand linear approximation of...

Janotová, Hana January 2016 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to answer the question whether the ban on political advertising on television and radio, which is laid down in the Czech Broadcasting Act 2001, is in compliance with the freedom of expression. Namely, whether it is in compliance with the Article 17 of the Czech Charter on Fundamental Rights and Freedoms. And secondly, whether it is in compliance with the Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The freedom of expression is an essential political right. Therefore, the limitations have to be interpreted restrictively. Moreover, all limitations have to be thoroughly justified. Firstly, the thesis analysis the scope of the ban on political advertising on television and radio. It explains what are the sanctions in the case of violation of the ban. Examples of violations are also introduced. Further, it is referred to the amendment to the Broadcasting Act. This amendement proposes to define "the political commercials". It is not possible to find such a definition in the current version of the Act. Another topic which is discussed is an anonymous advertising. Then attention is paid to the regulation of free airtime. Motivace, projevy a cíle culture jammingu v českém prostředí / Motivation, strategies and goals of culture jamming in czech surroundings

Benešová, Zuzana January 2017 (has links)
The phenomenon of culture jamming is not so well known in the Czech Republic. So I decided to focus on defining this term, which is sometimes translated as cultural sabotage. At the beginning of this dissertation work, I try to introduce important theories that are related to the central concept. I also focus on how culture jamming most often express and what forms are most common. In the part of examples of culture jamming in the world, I try to describe the important foreign culture jamming's groups, including demonstrations of their actions and performances. In the same way I map the Czech culture jamming groups. For a better illustration and approximation of the concept, the whole of this theoretical part is supplemented with a picture attachment. Part of the dissertation work is also a research part, which focuses on the mapping of culture jamming in the Czech Republic. Above all, I try to find out what are the motivations, speeches and goals of Czech cultural saboteurs.

The thesis focuses on analysis of the current opposition in Russia. Attention is mainly focused on the conditions for the existence and operation of the opposition created by the government's garniture, including the purposeful changes of the valid legislation and its influence on the state of the present opposition. Furthermore, the work aims to map key opposition parties and find out what the character of the current opposition is, whether it offers a liberal-democratic alternative to the existing regime or not. Last but not least, presented public opinion polls investigate whether there is room for opposition in society and what the society's attitude toward opposition is. This thesis is a contribution to discussion in the context of the nature of the current regime in Russia and the real possibilities for its change in the near future, because analysing the opposition is important for understanding of the system and its functioning, both in terms of conditions for its functioning, its embedding in society and ideological focus.
