Aktivismus mládežnických politických organizací / Activism in youth political organizationsForétková, Pavlína January 2019 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the activism of youth political organizations in the Czech Republic. The aim of this work is to monitor their activities between 2013 and 2017 due to activism in general but also to political parties. A protest event analysis based on document analysis was created to monitor activities. The second type of research data was interviews with representatives of youth organizations. This type develops results from protest event analysis. Research has shown differences in attitude to activism between left-wing and right-wing organizations. The left-wing focused on protest more than right-wing organization and also often cooperated with non-profit organizations. While right-wing organizations are quite active, they prefer institutional channel and orderly decency before protest arena. Youth organizations have little to do with events before elections. Though they also support political parties or protest against them, they have realized most of the events because of their own agendas. Most organizations appreciate mutual cooperation in protests, with one exception when cooperation is rejected from both sides.

Zrušení vízové povinnosti pro Ukrajinu a jeho dopad na Českou republiku / Cancelation of the visa duty for Ukraine and its impact on the Czech RepublicVondráčková, Dominika January 2020 (has links)
The association agreement between EU and Ukraine includes visa liberalization, which brings concerns about the capability of absorbing the increasing migration of Ukrainian citizens in the Czech Republic. The theses aims at showing realistic state of affairs especially through statistics and interviews with members of crucial interest groups connected to migration process. The text is demonstrating that number of Ukrainians in the Czech Republic is significantly raising, but we cannot consider this raise as intractable. The increase directly connected with visa liberalization can be clearly demonstrated at the number of tourists. Looking at the number of asylum applications, growth was not noted which is considered as sign of well-managed liberalization of migration. Significant changes cannot be seen also in the statistics of illegal migration. Nevertheless, members of foreign police agree that they observe increase of illegal Ukrainians but do not have the capacities to arrest them and register as illegal in the statistics. Visa liberalization is not the only reason of the increase of Ukrainians in the Czech Republic. Major influence is the overall socio-economic situation of both countries and especially extremely low unemployment in the Czech Republic, which creates pressure to the employers...

Srovnávací analýza ruských prezidentských a parlamentních voleb 1993-2008 na základě teorie hybridních režimů / Comparative analysis of the Russian presidential and parliamentary elections since 1993 till 2008 from the perspective of hybrid regime theoryRadová, Ivana January 2011 (has links)
This master's thesis Comparative Analysis of Russian presidential elections 1996 - 2008 from the perspective of hybrid regime theory analyses four presidential elections in the above mentioned period and subsequently applies theoretical models of the hybrid regime theory. Such an application will allow to answer questions not only about the character of the elections - whether they can be considered democratic and competitive or not - but also about the character of the Russian regime as such. In this regard the analysis of parliamentary elections has to be also included as these take place only a few months before the presidential elections thus having a significant impact on the presidential electoral process and often on the result as well.

Komunální volby 2010 z pohledu volebních kampaní. Využití politického marketingu stranou TOP 09 / Municipal Elections in 2010 and Electoral Campaigns. Usage of Political Marketing by TOP 09Peisertová, Vendula January 2012 (has links)
The thesis focuses on the use of political marketing by the political party TOP 09 during the municipal elections in 2010. This chosen topic explores issues that have not been covered by the Czech political research yet. The thesis is mostly based on the theoretical concepts of Lees-Marshment and Bruce Newman. The research surmised that the political party TOP 09 had implemented political marketing techniques during the last municipal elections, and it might be considered, as described by Lees-Marshment model, as a market-oriented party. The thesis uses qualitative research methods. Its second part comprises of two case studies on the municipal campaigns of TOP 09 in the cities of Olomouc and Prague: the empirical evidence reviews campaign strategy, electoral programme, election polls, relations to the other candidate parties, media coverage, campaign organization, internal marketing and (last but not least) campaign financing. The thesis comes to conclusions that TOP 09 was using political marketing on municipal level, but still there are differences in the extent of its usage. While the Prague party organization behaved as a market-oriented one, the Olomouc regional organization might be described as a sales-oriented party.

Křesťansko-demokratické politické strany v luteránské "Baltoskandii": komparace ve světle sekularizační teze / Christian democratic political parties in Lutheran "Baltoscandia": a comparison in light of the secularization thesisHejzlar, Štěpán January 2012 (has links)
The submitted diploma thesis deals with Christian Democratic political parties in the political systems of Scandinavian and Baltic countries of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia and Latvia. These parties form a unique "Nordic" branch of European political Protestantism; and structurally and functionally distinctive, but to a great degree homogenous, subgroup of Christian democracy. A major theoretical tradition to be applied is the Rokkanian party system analysis. Contrary to its counterparts on the continent, the Nordic branch grew not from a church-based defence stance against a secular state, but from both territorial and religious dissent on the periphery. The "cultural periphery" analysis relies heavily on history and geography of religion of the Nordic countries. However, other theoretical perspectives are taken as well in order to compare different aspects of the parties' affiliations and policies, such as their cabinet policies, ideology or EC/EU attitudes. In another chapter, possibilities and limits of Christian democracy in the Lutheran environment of Latvia and Estonia are examined. Is Scandinavian experience portable? Or are there other ways of Christian political mobilization used in the public spheres of the two Baltic countries? A similar theoretical framework is applied,...
