Problémy žáků ve výuce zeměpisu spojené se specifickými poruchami učení / Problems of Teaching Geography to Students with Specific Learning Related Difficulties

Uvízlová, Lenka January 2013 (has links)
This thesis deals with specific learning difficulties (SLD) in the context of teaching geography in upper primary schools and secondary schools, trying to figure out whether pupils and students have (or may have) specific learning difficulties when learning geography, whether such problems exist. If so, how can be these problems avoided or at least mitigated. To meet stated goals, it was necessary to answer fundamental questions about the specific learning disabilities. What SLD are? What type of SLD are known? What causes SLD? And what are the typical symptoms? After that, based on the findings from answers to these questions, qualitative research was realised through in-depth interviews. Respondents of these interviews were eight people with learning disabilities - dyslexia, dysgraphia, dysorthography, dyscalculia, and a combination. All interviews were recorded on a tape recorder, transcribed and analyzed using the methods of clustering and capturing patterns (so- called gestalts) using open and axial coding. The results of analysis of these interviews were summarised and provide some insight into the SLD related to teaching geography. KEYWORDS specific learning difficulties, dyslexia, education, teaching, geography

Hodnocení muskuloskeletálních poruch u klavíristů / Evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders in pianists

Svobodová, Barbora January 2017 (has links)
Title: Evaluation of musculoskeletal disorders in pianists Background: Musculoskeletal (MS) disorders are common in pianists. Allsop and Ackland (2010) in their study describe that pianists suffer from MS disorders in 42 %. However, the prevalence of MS disorders differs depending on the region. There has not been done yet any evaluation of prevalence of MS disorders in pianists in Czech republic. This evaluation is crutial to make a comparison of our national results internationally. Furthermore, it is required to establish well-prepared preventional program for starting pianists. Aims: The purpose of this study is to evaluate prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders in pianists. Methods: Our data were collected using questionnaire survey. We distributed questionnaires among czech profesional pianists, piano teachers, and piano students by emails who were older than 18. Results: We sent 390 questionnaires by emails and received 78 of them completed. We revealed that the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders of all respondents was 72 %. The prevalence was the highest in the group of the age from 18 to 60 reaching 90 %. The most common locality of musculoskeletal disorder was in the forearm. The group of pianists who started to play piano at the age from 3 to 4 were more prone to present with...

There are some researches focusing on quantitative detection of the circumstances associated with Snoezelen. This is why this thesis is dedicated to a qualitative study of the use of Snoezelen in a special pedagogical institution. This Thesis aims to analyse literary sources to comprehensively characterize problems of autistic spectrum disorders and to outline the principles, benefits and requirements of Snoezelen. Využití Rivermead behaviorálního paměťového testu u pacientů po poškození mozku / Clinical utility of Rivermead Behavioral Memory Test in Patients after Brain Damage

Šimková, Klára January 2018 (has links)
OF DIPLOMA THESIS Title of diploma thesis: Clinical Utility of Rivermead Behavioural Memory Test in Patients after Brain Damage Objective: The main goal of this diploma thesis was to monitor the relationship between memory functions measured by the Rivermead Behavioral Memory Test (RBMT-3) and their subsequent influence on occupational performance in ADL (pADL) in patients after brain damage. The partial objective was to determine whether self-sufficiency in ADL can be predicted from RBMT-3 results. The last partial goal was to create a working version of the RBMT-3 and translate it from the original English version. Methods: The research group consisted of 40 probands (22 males and 18 females) after brain damage. For data collection, the Rivermead Behavioral Memory Test (RBMT-3) for assessing the memory function level was used. FIM (version 5.2) was used for evaluating the level of occupational performance in ADL (pADL). Hypothesis verification was performed by correlation analysis and corrected Spearman's correlation coefficient and p-values. For this pre- research, the level of significance α1 < 0.05 and α2 < 0.01 was chosen. Results: The pre-research did not confirm the dependence between the RBMT-3 memory level and the level of self-sufficiency measured by FIM. The P value (p = 0.526) from the...

Souvislost kvality attachmentové vazby a poruch příjmu potravy / Relations between quality of attachment and eating disorders

Houlíková, Klára January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on the relations between attachment quality and eating disorders. The main goal is to map how girls with an eating disorder understand their illness and what the disorder signifies to them within their family system. In the theoretical part of the thesis, eating disorders are delineated. There is an emphasis on risk factors for eating disorders, and a comprehensive approach to their explanation is presented in terms of different theoretical schools. The next part is devoted to the attachment theory with an emphasis on the development from childhood to adulthood. The theoretical foundations of the Parental Bonding Instrument are presented. Furthermore, the attachment theory is linked to the occurrence of eating disorders. In the empirical part of the thesis, the methodological aspect of the research, which was carried out with three girls who have experienced eating disorders, is first introduced. The research design combines the method of semi-structured interviews with the method of using a tool measuring the quality of bonding with parents, specifically the Parental Bonding Instrument. It has been shown that the quality of the relationship with parents influences the onset, course, and duration of eating disorders in a child, adolescent, or young adult. The...
